Best Japanese food we’ve eaten in a while. Good service en the teas are amazing! The desserts are so unique and fun, definitely a place to check out!
Disappointed. Ramen is pretty basic for a double price! Soup bruh is watery and tasteless. Nudlles is basic. I dont know what is the hype about here. Price shouldnt be more than 6 to 8 euros. 13 euro for a very basic ramen is way overpriced. I ate better Ramens in Berlin for half that price.P.s. Also just one vegetarian/vegan option ...
Very interesting japanese restaurant with a authentic atmosphere inside and outside also. Clients can taste a large range of variety of ramen. The prices are a little bit higher, around 11€ for one ramen bowl. There are 2 types of japanese beers, Asahi wich is an regular one and Kirin witch surprised me is very light and for the summer days Kirin is the best choice. The staff is nice and they come relatively fast at the tables to take an order or to bring drinks and food. Definitely, I recommend this location.
Great and yummy place. Its really comfy inside and the food is just mouthwatering. It would be nice to have a slightly bigger variety of veggo options. Otherwise absolutely delicious!
Beautiful ramen shop. Everything tasted perfect. The pork broth is not too heavy nor too salty.
Quite good. Nice vibe
Excellent ramen place, with a very nice choice of noodles and starters.
The ramen is expensive in comparison to other restaurants in Berlin, but the portions are big. I tried the Miso ramen and it was quite nice.
Sitting outside is beautiful here, with nice service and amazing ramen. We‘ll definitely come back.
I love the place, the service and the food there! One of the top!
Fine, but overrated, and a bit overpriced for what it is.
Solid ramen in a nice location, the staff is also friendly. But I do not recommend the takeaway ramen.
Very poor quality sides, tough and dry pork everywhere. Ramen mediocre at best, but specifically lacking on the noodle quality front. Tamago overcooked and without any real shoyu flavour, combined with poor service this is definitely overpriced for what it is.
The ambiance is nice but the food is expensive. The appetizers are fine and tasty but Ramen noodles were so salty with a little vegetables, so nothing special.
Really delicious ramen and great service. The broth was a dream!
I was watching an anime the other day ( Soma/food wars) and the theme was Ramen. I got curious and Googled the maps and found this place. Oh my God!! Where have I been all this time? This food is so amazing. It surpassed my expectations. The green tea ice cream is out of this world as well. Highly recommend this cosy place!
Satisfied and very happy after our first visit. We ordered Homemade Lemonade which was served a few seconds later. Had some really good Edamame while waiting for the Ramen, which came right after we finished the appetizer. Negi Shoyu and Shio Ramen, both with a very good taste and enough to be pleased. Thanks for the good food and service, even when the restaurant was very busy.
Very nice, fresh, flavourful ramen with fresh ingredients. Helpful and friendly service that reacted promptly to our needs. The location is wonderful; right by the Spree with a nice outdoor area. Cool and stylish interior and food presentation. Nice mixed crowd of people. Good selection of ramen and a few desserts. Nice list of drinks with a lot of interesting Japanese options.
Tantanmen was okay…service is so so - one non-Japanese waiter is so unfriendly.
Best ramen in Europe.
FOR PEOPLE GOING LATE NIGHT IN SUMMER. Let me inform you this place for some strange reason has to close the windows in their restaurant, this made the heat inside almost unbearable with the humidity of the cooking process. I highly recommend asking to be seated outside weather permitting it would increase my rating dramatically! (Im Australian too so its not like I cant stand a little heat)There is about 30mins+ wait which is fine and you can order drinks while you wait. Once inside the place looks absolutely stunning and has a great selection of broth types and entrees. Prices are reasonable too.Over all I was impressed by the flavour of the broth and overall presentation.
Fantastic food in a super chill environment. Full value for money
A very nice restaurant with a well thought out menu together with plenty of smiles from the utterly friendly staff. I would recommend anyone for both lunch and dinner since the restaurant itself is very cosy and offers a lively atmosphere! I thought however that the water was quite expensive and the meat in the soup was a little bit hard to eat, but I guess its suppose to be like that.
Great food and the portions are big as well!
Was not so good today. Ö
I’m a noodles girl. Traveling in town and saw many good reviews here so I decided to give it a try. I went there around 3-4 PM so no waiting at all. They have German menu and English menu on the table. I sat outside (many table outside which is nice when Berlin has good weather like today) and ordering Tonkotsu. It’s not the best I had but it’s pretty tasty. Maybe next time I went back I’ll try different broth.
Most definitely the best Ramen in my life. The queue was long, which is always a good sign, and the wait was well worth it. I tried the tonkotsu one and was pleased with taste explosion I received. The pork belly was so tender that it literally melted in my mouth. Soooooo GOOD 😋😋Ill be coming back to Berlin to taste it again. Thank you!Edit: the service quality has dropped considerably. Chaotic, unorganized and worst of all unpleasant. Food as good as always though.
After trying ~7 ramen places in Berlin this is so far the best, especially the Tonkotsu
They are a bit expensive. But the ramen is really good.
Quite unfriendly waitress that told us there is no seating outside. So we were seated on the bench in front of the sink where the glasses are washed with an ugly view to be honest. Somehow there were crowded tables outside when we left, so it would have been nice if someone offered us to come outside when they opened it up later. (We even left and did a rapid test before coming back just because we only could sit inside - what we did not enjoy)Ordered tea, sencha, and recieved a cold botteled tea instead of a freshly brewed one - the menu was deceiving in that sense. No explanations in the menu to what the broths are for non experts on ramen and we really did not want to bother the unfriendly and maybe annoyed waitress any longer. At least the food itself was tasty, but the whole experience was disappointing.
Always very busy with great food
Had an issue with the waiting timeOnce we sat down the food snacks and ramen were delicious
The cold Goma ramen tastes better last summer..
One of the best ramen noodles in Berlin
Cocolo is probably the first serious ramen shop in Berlin. When tasting their broth, one gets the resemblance to ramen in Japan, but still lacks finesse and depth. From my experience, the quality ressembles that of a hobby cook who is getting into the game of serious ramen, not the mastery of ramen which I have come to expect from great ramen places (even outside of Japan)
Very good ramen..
Living in the neighborhood, I had been trying twice (always giving a last try to a place) and was very disappointed about the starters as ramens. Dumplings are boiled/ fried, kimchi very basic, sesam spinach ok, ramens without any specific flavors (+ super salty) and ‘homemade’ noodles very very casual. I wouldn’t recommend this place even if the lineup is always super busy (making you feel the meals are going to be amazing).
I highly recommend the Miso 👌
A perfect place for me. food, service, concept, price and this for years and every time... great profesionals
Great service, super nice people. Very pleasant experiencs and food. Yes!
High quality food/raman working successfully for years in kreuzberg . Cozy and cool atmosphere and warm pretty design. Toilet is clean, sitting is on benches so not so comfortable . Always long queues in entrance and long time to get the food. But if you judge by the food its mainly very good raman place.
