With a very catchy name ... We expected that the restaurant would be as wonderful as well. After placing the order, the anticipation was high. However after eating the food, it was a mixed reaction. The curry was just average ... Tikka masala was more like a Chinese dish. Biryani was ok. Nan was amazing. The staff is very friendly ... The food is customized according to European taste. Overall a nice experience but not authentic Indian food.

Placed an order for delivery at 21:22 and were told that it would take 25 minutes. It didnt arrive in time but we waited patiently. Received a message at 22:10 saying that our order had been cancelled. No reason given.FIND ANOTHER RESTAURANT!

We dined in this small and picturesque establishment and found it to be quite satisfying. The food portions are huge and the service is very fast. The waiter, probably also the owner of this fine establishment, was very kind to us. We accidentally ordered a wrong tea and the waiter said it didnt matter and we ordered a new tea. Needless to say, the tea was added to our bill which we were quite surprised about. 4 out of 5 stars, will come back.

Small but good! Ive been here with my family, and in all honesty I had looked another one on Maps with better reviews (thanks Google), but when your mom says something in the line of Im paying, every good son knows when to listen. The owner was very friendly and helped us through the ordering process, explaining the dishes in great detail. The food was yummy and the service great. Only downside was a persistent smell, a mix between dog farts and morning breath (wish I was joking), but once you got used to it it was ok. Recommended :) (seriously)

The server was quite rude and started muttering in his local language when we asked for some changes to the meal. We ended up having an argument with him, and as for the food, the less said about it, the better. Itll definitely be the last time we set foot in that restaurant.

Average Berlin Indian food.Pretty disappointing. Guy was nice, and I politely asked if the could make it authentic (as in India) spicy. Unfortunately the vegan Thali they made me was expensive (11.50) and very far from authentic. (the non-vegan version was also not good I was told).I know that Indian food here in Berlin is generally terrible, but a friend told me this place used to be very good, so we tried it. Unfortunately we both agree it isnt anymore. There were almost no spices in any of it, palak, malai kofta, and some mixed veg. Nothing had an interesting masala -- the orange slices on the plate were the most flavorful thing.I suspect many people might still like this place, which is fine. But I would not recommend it for anyone who knows what real Indian food should taste like.PS: Ive spent more than a year traveling through much of India overland and have been cooking Indian food myself for a decade -- even the cheapest, low quality veg food for € 0.30 there is far tastier than this. Most airlines make dramatically better Indian food as an example.

Was this some sort of prank?I am so sorry I have been there. The Chicken seemed raw and the curry sauce?! Where they doing it for the first time or they couldnt find the recipe?On top of that the employees are checking you out all the time.No privacy, not good food, not cheap.

I ate here before and was ok for the money.The next time I went we recieved extremely small portions (one with no meat at all which was to contain mutton). When I asked the waiter why there is no meat there he told me to stop complaining because of the price. We then were asked to leave the premises and the staff was cursing at us very professional. I recomed to anyone looking for an enjoyable meal to go somewhere else.

Ive eaten Indian food all over the world. This was terrible. Bland slop, and they charged me €5,50 for 1L of water. Avoid, and check out Yogi in Mitte if youre looking for Indian food in Berlin.

A very small and nice shop. Very friendly staff and courteous service. My wife enjoyed a lentil soup with Naan, which was not on the menu but was still available. I had the number 28, chicken with coconut AND spicy. Now I know the term spicy mostly as spicy. I then guard against very sharp. But HUIIII. Spicy is really spicy here! When I was halfway in control of my sweats, I enjoyed an inexpensive, tasty dish.

Authentic Indian cuisine that is served in an appealing way without frills. Rice can be reordered at any time, but the portions are still big enough. The dishes are well seasoned and available in different degrees of heat. All common types of meat are processed and there are also many vegetarian dishes on the menu. The service is friendly and unobtrusive, the tables set and clean. The ambience is getting old.

Lunch menu disaster

Excellent cuisine, like 25 years ago ... A restaurant that has survived all the changes here thanks to the same operator and because of the quality. Small but great !!

Bauernfängerei, the dishes from the reduced lunch menu are sometimes not reduced. You can order them, but only for the full price. Obviously, the face prices make. I will never go there again.

Hearty dishes at reasonable prices. I was able to taste Indian specialties, the choices are very varied and there are also all kinds of delicious bread. The decor is nice but the restaurant is a bit small. Nice server.

At noon all main courses for € 5. Service very quick and attentive, but not interested in criticism. Sauces very tasty and flavorful. Chicken meat had a terrible consistency and was therefore inedible. Lamb, on the other hand, was good. Overall, the restaurant looks a bit dusty and getting old.

The restaurant does not have a large room, but is welcoming. The dishes do not differ from the standards of Indian cuisine but are tasty and well presented. Low prices. Suitable for a quick meal or a lunch break. There is no lack of atmosphere. Friendly and quick service.

We have come here several times and have never looked back! We always eat vegan and its super tasty. It looks very authentic and is not a mass production like some other Indians. The service is very polite and we never had to wait long. Absolutely to be recommended!
