Delicious Indian food in reasonable price . A must to visit restaurant for Indian food lovers!

Diebe! The owner charged me different pricing than what the menu showed. Then when I paid she returned only part of the change she owed me. Do not come here!

Near the river so after lunch or dinner, you could walk along the bridge & enjoy the scenery. Their menu isn’t as confusing as other Indian restaurants in Berlin, but they do have different prices for the same dishes from their paper menu to the menu on the wall, so if you’re confused, just ask the employees. Offer lots of typical Indian cuisines & even though it’s a small restaurant, you won’t be disappointed.

Nice little Indian joint. As vegans, we had 2 dishes which were thankfully vegan. Friendly. Good central location. Affordable. We have found that Indian food in Berlin is not particularly spicy, perhaps Germans dont enjoy spice? But for the Berlin standard, this place is nice.

The Buddha restaurant is an Indian restaurant in Berlin Mitte, which was close to where I was staying. Restaurant probably makes the place sound more upmarket that it really is. The interiors is reminiscent of a kebab or chip show. I got a mutter paneer, which was okay. This is a dish Ive had many times and I think Im qualified to say that this was a rather bland version of the dish. To add to the authenticity, the food was served somewhere between warm and hot, which cooled down to lukewarm halfway through. To really top things off, this is over-priced for what you get.

Food quality needs improvement, especially when it is being served re-heated. I believe there is a difference between being served re-warmed and re-heated.Beer is cheap, food isnt. Prices dont match the cleanliness, portion size and restaurant ambience expectations. Portion sizes are surprisingly small.PS: I have had food from three Indian Restaurants in Berlin in three days, have rated the price on a value for money basis.

Its a nice and simple Indian restaurant. Almost like home cooking style. It is tasty! I have beeneen there few times already! But... in my opinion, the prices are to high for what you get.

The food is good and comparatively cheap, but not so much (i.e. Chicken curry with rice costs €8.50-€9.50). The food is average in both taste and presentation, so can be questionable for the price. The place is very small which can only host around 15 people at once. The staff is friendly, but doesnt speak much English, but they speak German and Hindi. The waiting time is around 10-15 minutes. So this place is good to have a descent meal for a lower price.

Reasonable price, good taste, pleasant atmosphere. Most of all, the staff is very very friendly. Perhaps he is the most friendly one in Berlin😀😀 I left my thing in this restaurant and didnt notice. But while my friends and I were going to the S bahn station, he came out of the restaurant and gave my things back. How nice and friendly! I strongly recommend this BEST Indian restaurant.

Please strongly ignore this. THE FOOD WAS SPOILED AND THEY DONT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE IT. They just name the restaurant to fool people. If i could give 0 star i would. Its the worst food i had ever in my life. Well technically i had one bite and left it.

Let me start by saying that I usually do not write reviews. Came here because I saw that the prices on the menu outside the shop were reasonable (around 6.90 euros). Upon entering and being handed a menu, I realised that the prices for the same dishes were higher (8.90 euros). When asked, the owner said the outside menu reflects the day price (i.e smaller portions), but he could do the day price for me. I agreed and hesitated between tandoori chicken and butter chicken. He recommend butter chicken. What he did not tell me is that butter chicken is not offered as a day dish, and therefore is 10.90 euros. He eventually only charged me 10 euros. The shop seems really quiet, which is probably why the owner did what he did, but Im honestly just upset by the false and disingenuous marketing. To be fair, I do not think he is a bad person, and the food itself isnt bad either. Still, this is no way to run an establishment.

Very jummy food, simple place!

Service was good. Samosas were great.Ordered Panneer Masala and Garlic Naan, not very satisfied with taste an equality.

This is very Good restaurant and the food is very tasty. It has pakistani/Indian food and the cook told me that it was Halal. So i would recommend all of you to try it. You can speak Hindi/Urdu with the cook if you want to verify this yourself :)

Great food at a very reasonable price! I asked for my food to be spicy and it was prepared with a kick but not hot enough to blow your head off. Its on the small side but they do do takeaway so if its full you dont have to leave empty handed.

The restaurant is centrally located in the Mitte region which somehow led me to think that the place would be good. I was wrong, the interiors were dull and drab while the food (vegetarian thali) was not at all good.Hope they get their act together.

It is a very arrogant behaviour on behalf of the restaurant mgmt.; the internet states the restaurant opens at 1pm on sunday; getting there at 2pm, that place was closed; the city is full of tourists, the weather is good - how can any restaurant afford to be closed at that time

After our previous favorite Indian had closed despite a confirmed reservation, we found an alternative here.The food was excellent. Very friendly staff and fair prices.Dont let the simple interior design put you off.

After our local restaurant for Indian food had to close during the Corona period, we have been looking for a good replacement for ages. We found that with Buddha. The ingredients were all freshly cut and prepared in front of our eyes and the food came out without an excess of cream and the like. The taste was excellent and dwarfs pretty much everything in the area from Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz to Oranienburger Tor. The positive side effect was that it was also very cheap compared to other restaurants in Berlin. From now on we are happy to take the longer way there.

Authentic Indian cuisine, great service and affordable prices. Do not be put off by the somewhat old-fashioned atmosphere, it is absolutely clean. And vegetarian dishes are also recommended for non-vegetarians. They are super delicious and the vegetables are absolutely fresh.

The worst curry lamb Ive ever got served. Whole three pieces of lamb in an indefinable sauce. A leaf of lettuce in water, with the lettuce leaf still the best. After I criticized the food, I was referred to my next visit. There the food would be better. I replied there would be no next visit for sure. Its a crazy world. After paying, I also had to point out the correct amount of the change. Never again!!

The food from my friend and I unfortunately tasted old and warmed up. The rice was old too. We certainly wont go there anymore.Maybe they dont always cook fresh in the evening, we were also the only guests. Was not particularly cheap in terms of price, since we were there in the evening, about 8-9 euros for a vegetarian dish.

The food is quite tasty, but a colleague from India said it was mediocre. But the interior is so-so and not super clean. But for interest you can go, compare with more licked Indian restaurants.

It tastes like it does in India and it looks that way too. If I have a longing for India, I come here.

Unfortunately, I didnt like the curry at all. And the toilet is incredibly dirty. With 10 euros I could have fed myself better in the MacDonald.

They wanted 2 € for a small plate of extra rice. When I mentioned that to them, both got really excited, said something in their language and turned their backs. Outrageous!

The low prices of the day ticket on a board outside and the relatively good reviews invited us into the shop. As we enter, we arrive in a narrow room with a counter in which dried food lay. The prices of the day ticket were unfortunately not valid at the weekend, which told us first the service and not the sign outside mediated (weird). To our surprise, the prices on the card were very expensive (in such an ambience we did not expect dishes for 14 € ...). The two dishes (vegetarian curry) were extremely greasy, too greasy and bland. Hardly any taste, just sharpness and the reus too dry. The bread tasted rancid and old frying fat. The glass with the drink was dirty. Unfortunately, we had terrible stomach ache for some time afterwards. We advise everyone from this store !!
