I have to give 3 as the bowl that they served the hot chocolate was not in a good condition. I think broken or cracked plates or glasses should not be served with. Secondly, only cash cafes or restaurants are always loose 1 point. Overall, it is in a good location with a nice interior design.
Breakfast was good , though it took a long time to be served . Would have been nicer if the staff is little friendly or pleasant to customer. They accept only Cash and informed us while we asked for bill . I would try a different place next time .
Place is nice, quiet, Beatles music and things look good.I had a Pfeffermint tea, which as suprise came with orange juice. I seriously do not advise it!They were nice to get me also fruit salad without the nuts/Jogurt (allergy), but it came full of syrup. It should be something to add only if we want.
Got vegan breakfast, very bitter salad, tapenade not very tasty, only the bread and jam were good, would not recommend, especially for that price... And then they tell you that you can only pay cash AFTER you have eaten. Again, would not recommend.

Great panini, espresso less so. Cannot pay by card, contrary to what earlier reviews say. Host should be as friendly to his staff as to some of his guests.

Racist place, they talked to everyone in english but to me as a brown man he started speaking Deutsch. Also said it is deutschland
We ordered a “lemonade” . Was 3,50€ for a really tiny glass and really bad and fake taste, not at all homade, will not go again

As the name states, here you will eat like home and by that i mean delicious and well cooked food. We order soup, salads and pasta.. all of them amazing. The staff also friendly and with a smile in their face. Strongly recommend it.. dont miss this place if you are in the area.
The food is really good. Healthy, homemade and fresh. Really nice and creative options. I found the price of some things was too high for the amount, for example coffees and lemonades. The lemonade is, although delicious, too expensive. It is basically water, lemon juice and mint. Also, they close the kitchen 1h before the place closes. I wanted a piece of quiche, that was on the counter and already made. They just had to heat it up but refused because the kitchen was closed (again 1h before closing time). I didnt find the service to be very friendly

One of the best breakfasts I have eaten. Unbelievable quality, adequate variety and a really cosy place. Next time I am in Berlin I will surely come to try some of the cakes I left in this visit!

Avoid during peak hours, service is very slow - took well over half an hour to just get the drinks we ordered. Food is fine, but there are more interesting options in the area. The pasta would have been a lot better with the canned olives replaced with fresh ones.

Nice breakfast. The panini with goat cheese and walnuts is super tasty and good price/quality. I also ordered eggs with feta there before. They were good but they could have added more feta and tomatoes. I also shared a breakfast platter which was alright, dont remember which one it was. I heard their cakes are delicious so I will try them next. :)
Having just arrived in Berlin and not being able the check in yet, I was told to look around this neighborhood for some cafes serving breakfast.It looks small on the outside but there are quite a lot of tables in the back.The breads where fresh and still warm and the meats and cheeses served tasted good.Serving was quick and friendly.
Fantastic food with great prices. I had a spinach coconut soup (which is best still hot, so eat quickly), a goat cheese panini, and a slice of snickers cake. I would get all of it again. This place is definitely worth a visit. With a coffee, the entire meal was under €14.

Lovely massive bowl of hot chocolate for mere buttons and a wonderful and delicious selection of cakes.Relaxed atmosphere as well with a friendly waitress. Id head back to chill there.

Heres Blueberry chocolate cake (I cant remember exactly the cakes name) is one of the best cake ! Thanks to recommending for me. Also they have Wifi, I could use my laptop and phone. I like moments that spend my time in this place.

I love their salads! They have a lunch bundle, perfect for vegetarians. A bit pricey, but in Simon Dach Str., thats usual. Nice atmosphere, nice decorations, beautiful big wooden tables. Only down side is the service: rather slow and inattentive. Good cakes too.
The place wasnt full. It was Sunday afternoon. We were able to seat right away. 20 min until we were handed a menu, he refused to take our drink orders until we ordered food. And after 20 more min we left because he still had not come to order our food.

Nothing special. The Yoghurt, fruit and oats with honey contained mostly apple, so not much variation. They kept forgetting to bring hot water for the tea so that arrived after about half an hour, just about as we finished breakfast. Liked the decoration of the place though. Sweet breakfast was also nice.

The only thing that was OK at this place were the scrambled eggs. At the end they wanted to overcharge us with an additional cake (3 people,1 person had 1 cake. Nearly impossible to not be deliberate in 1 bill of six items). The Sweet Morning breakfast was a total disaster. For a place that is called Homemade, nothing was fresh nor homemade. Microwaved Brioche from the day before, old fruits, nutella and honey in plastic packages. Additionally to that, the waitresses were unfriendly and inattentive (putting the cake on the table without even pausing when you wanted to order or asking if anybody needed anything else). Unfortunately rather a tourist trap.

The place is cozy, the service is friendly, and the portions are huge, or even more than that. Many people are looking exactly for those things, but I want quality not quantity. Not saying that the quality would be bad, it’s definitely decent. Scrambled eggs (organic) in Teflon pans (lots of Teflon went somewhere already, at least it’s not in the pan anymore). Toast and panini style bread, no buns or croissants. No egg sunny-side up, only scrambled. Variety and choice for breakfast are quite limited (paninis, wraps, 4 types of breakfast combos and scrambled eggs). All in all it is great for people with a small budget, but if you are looking for organic and high end produce you should go somewhere else
