Sir i read all the reviews of the students of your institute. But i have small doubt what is the fees structure of an weekend batches

VERY WORST INSTITUTE, THEY DONT COMPLETE SYLLABUS,THEY ARE MONEY MINDED,THEY SPEND MONEY IN ADVERTISING TO ATTRACT US THATS IT, THEY CHEATED ME BY TAKING 1 LAKH ,NO TEST NO ANSWER NO MAINS COACHING, ALONE PRELIMS 1LAKH ,THEY WILL TAKE MONEY FROM U BY TELLING INCLUDING MAINS AND TAKE ENTIRE MONEY FROM US ,IF WE ASK ABOUT IT THEY STOP RESPONDING TO OUR CALLS .THEY DID NOT COMPLETE SYLLABUS ,IF I ASK THEM TO BEGIN FROM FIRST DUE TO DISCONTINUITY THEY HAVENT RESPONDED TILL NOW .PLEASE DONT JOIN HERE AND WASTE UR MONEY AND CAREER. THIS REVEIW IS WRITTEN BECAUSE I HAVE PERSONALLY EXPERIENCED IT.THEY ARE CHEATERS

Most disappointed with their coaching ,worst ,I lost my money by paying entire 1 lakh ,no quality coaching no test no answer writing practice,I am standing no were now ,with all high dreams I entered this institution.they are only money minded. Worst

I was a person with zero knowledge in UPSC exams. But I had a lot of interest in choosing IAS as my career path.So I decided to approach Shankar gate academy. The inital counselling was given by Madam Rekha . She is one of the best counsellor I have come accross.. She was very much precise and straight to the point covering all the various topics involved in UPSC examination. I would request other also to approach this academy if you have interests of writing the exams and succeeding in it. Counselling by Madam REKHA is the must, which will give you the initial trigger to crack the exams.Thank you

Thanks for immense support provided by Rekha mam in times of need. When I was facing log in issue due to technical glitches Rekha madam took an initiative to contact the management and sorted it out quickly to ensure Im able to login without any inconveniences. Thank you once again Rekha madam for your prompt assistance.

Trying to give unbiased feedback.. i was a student of their weekend batch.Cons :1. One or two teacher has horrible subject knowledge. And upon repeated complaints he wasnt replaced by the management.2. The management will easily go back on their words, we were promised recorded classes at the beginning but werent given.3. Class schedules are all chaotic, couldnt give us one timetable.4. Mostly the classes are chennai based. It was funny how we sat for this one environmental class which was mostly abojt the dried up chenni rivers..5. The front office staff at bangalore are un excusably rude.6. Unresponsive, unreachable to the concerns students have.Pros :1. Test series were good2. The management had good ideas, but without the will and wit to put them to action.3. Some of the teachers are very good and memorable.4. Materials, books were good5. They advise good upsc strategy.6. You will get in touch with some serious students.

Best Academy in Bangalore for Budding aspirants. Get in there and come out as an officer. All the best!

Review from Shankar ias weekend batch student Bangalore.Writing after Prelims 2020.Classes taken during July2019 -Feb2020 before CovidI have tried to give a honest feedback which benefits the people who are planning to join the institute as well as the institutePros:1)Teaching for getting conceptual clarity .Polity ,Geography,Environment,History(Economics was not taken by Madam)2)Test series question3)During covid break:Phoenix initiative during last month of prelimsProviding video lectures to uncovered classesCons:1)Mainly Chennai preference, in test discussion as we were given recorded videos.2)No proper schedule was given for classes,on many request by student a tentative schedule was given in october while classes started in july3)Being a weekend student,sometimes due to office hours classes were missed ,no recording was given though they had promised before.4)Most important during covid break :When the institute should have stepped in and guided us with study plan ,there wasnt any communication for 1-1.5 months,while other institute did come out and gave some information.You can check with the economic survey which was published in june month ,whereas others had done in feb5)no study material will be given,Shankar ias daily current affairs on youtube are good enough.6)While the website talks of many intiativefrom our experience,mentoring was done for 2 weeks and stoppedsimilarly mains answer writingConclusion:Choose if you want classroom experience and a beginner it is a good place or else UPSC now with its questionnaire encourages everyone to understand daily concepts any online daily explanation will be more than useful saving money ,time .

This institute is perfectly good,No flaws at all but sometimes they postponed the dates but not so often.Especially geography(Extraordinary),polity,history(Awesome),Science tech,Economics some time boring(core economics),Enivironment,IR,...1)Sometimes other institutes post wrongly about in the review but its not true, Many aspirants get into the service by this institute no doubt.2)THEY ARE GIVING THEIR BEST, finally we have to use mantra HARD WORK.3) Then teaching are in english.

I joined for weekend classes. To be honest they arent up to the mark. The front desk staffwere very ignorant.Somehow, they have good faculty for Polity, Geo and Environment.

The teachers are good enough. For prestorming I would say choose this place if youre comfortable with virtual classes and discussions. The staff are really negligent!!! This place doesnt have a study hall , they dont explain details of the program while you join. Front desk staff are the worst .. discussion class timings ofare beyond the timing mentioned in the booklet. Only those fine with virtual discussions and classes for prelims test series can join this !

Very nice class and ambiance. Faculty is well knowledged and notes are superb. This institute is very good in terms of value for money. Better than so called premiere institutes in Bangalore. Must consider..

Professional institute good for mains test series.

There are many coaching institutes for IAS including the ones in Delhi claiming many results. But in reality all are fake. Ive prepared in Hyderabad and Delhi for many years and in many so called big institutes but didnt clear prelims of my 5 attempts. IAS Pathfinder showed me how much of basic knowledge I lack. We wish we had guidance like Pathfinders earlier. Prelims is 100% guaranteed through codes and the institute is training aspirants for mains and interview now itself. Good work Nayak sir.keep working like this.

Very positive and confident environment is created at IAS Pathfinder. It feels like IAS exam is very simple. Complete syllabus coverage and tests are tougher than Insights or IAS baba. I insist anyone to take a test at IAS Pathfinder and score atleast 30%. But after the class everything seems easy,even previous Years CSP exam papers. The ad says right.Anybody can become an IAS under Pathfinder. All the best to all.

I went to Shankar IAS Academy in Anna Nagar, Chennai for prelims & mains coaching. It was mainly due to the strategies that Shankar sir & other teachers familiarized us with during coaching, that I was able to score good marks in mains exam. Credit for the high score in geography paper does go to Shankar sir.
