The Central Silk Board junction, commonly known as Silk Board junction, is a road junction in Bangalore, India. Located adjacent to the Central Silk Board office complex near BTM Layout at the intersection of Hosur Road and Outer Ring Road, the junction is known for its bottleneck traffic congestion as it is one of the busiest intersections in India.

Very difficult to cross from one side to another. The signal gives only 10 sec to cross the sides. Also there not enough place to park the vehicle. You will get bus to any route.

Good maintenance as I saw it in years back but when I saw latest the total environment has been changed all the trees have been cut. Also the Central silk board is located in the worst traffic zone in Bangalore. It is visible from flyover as well as below the flyover but reaching this place is very difficult.

It is oldest Government Institution, which works towards development of silk.

This is one of the busiest place in Bangalore.Traffic is very heavy during peak hours.All basic amenities are available in this place.

This place is quite famous for Bangalore traffic. You can get most of the buses from silk board. The place has this name because of this silk manufacturing building present over here.

This place is horrible for its traffic and drainage system overflow. It flows on the roads. Do avoid this area if you are traveling here.

This is one of the oldest signals in Bangalore, since it is located in the heart of the city the traffic is unmatchable and probably stands first in the list of Jams in Bangalore, Use inside ways to avoid traffic here. there is more construction going on always, for metro and other flyover works, supposed to be a third level flyover which in turn reduces traffic to JP Nagar and Sarjapur way. If you are taking post 4 - 10 PM the traffic this way is little more than usual you spend a really long time in the traffic instead you could pack some food or play some games if you have company. The trees are really beautiful in the summers and it looks absolutely nice for that matter of sadness due to the traffic eventually the flowers make it really feel better scenes.

Avoid travelling through silk board if at all possible if youre in a hurry.. Busiest junction in Bengaluru

Struggle in traffic but coolest place nice one...cute climates

Great connectivity from this junction to many parts of the city, unfortunately this has become a point of congestion. Always there are traffic jams or snarl movement traffic in this junction.

The center of the traffic. At evening or the morning, you can easily be such for 1 hour covering 1-2km. To can also get buses heading to Major parts of the city itself too.
