This is a well built post office located in Yelahanka Satellite town. It is in a large compound which serves the front end and also a small warehouse at the backend. Currently due to COVID they have taken special steps to avoid overcrowding and maintaining social distancing. But its hard to come maintain such rules in a government office like this.

Government post office of Yelahanka New Town. The queue system which used to be a problem before is now sorted, thanks to the ticket based machine they interested few months back.Saturdays can get very crowded. Weekdays are usually relaxed.Compared to other couriers, I prefer using SpeedPost since they are a lot cheaper. Quality wise there is nothing much to complain about Speedpost.The only reason for giving 3 starts is because their way of handling huge crowd is pathetic.

Usually, for sending simple documents, at least when it is not crowded, the staff used to fill the form and take the signature. Here they don’t do that, nor offer a pen to do that. Ensure you come in this post office with a pen!Update: I filled the form, glued to the envelope and submitted - now the guy is insisting to use cello tape - and they don’t have one! Already wasted an hour and I am now moving to next post office! These guys are asking for privatization!Update 2: Went to next post office, it took just two minutes - paid, posted and came out! Nothing to worry about pen, glue or cello tape!!

They do.not deliver the product and update the wrong information like address not located when call them they are rude and not ready to help ...modi can change everything but not the attitude of the ppl working in govt offices ... Sick ppl they dnt even talk politely ...rude as if they are doing favour to us

One of the best post office experience of my entire life. Most people who work there are extremely professional. The Post Master is a true gentlemen. Patient and always closes the loop. Some of the best investment advise I have had came from this office.

Very slowl even sitting counter but kept Bord closed and lts morning time very crowded 👪but the facilities is not good required more staffs and counters

Extremely slow working staff. For a single speed post I had to wait for about an hour and a half. There were 25 people in token queue and yet one of the counter was kept closed even though the staff was sitting.

Good service and quick one. No need to wait for hours to get one parcel or EMS mail processed. Staffs know the process.

Always long queue. I sent speed post on 18th aug. till 23rd Aug not reached -destination chennai. Private courier now a a days better than Government.

Pretty decent staff. Gets extremely crowded by 11 AM. To get things done faster, be there by 9-9:30 AM

Even though they are authorised to update adhaar card. They say LAN problem to escape from work load. For adhaar cards mistakes done by them, we need to stand in queues for hours 🙄

Visited 3 times to get MIS, just time wasted. They give different excuses and information each time. People like them make govt services seem like a worst choice.

Govt office is always full of studip people,Their attitute is always to push us out, they just wanted to skip doing work,I wanted to return power bank to amazon,after standing in Q for 10mins it was my turn & guy said packing is not proper i cant accept,I been to stationary shop & did packing,next he said you have to put take & cover it fully(he said there is no plaster in post office) agaim i been to stationary shop & completely packed,3rd time wen i visit tht guy asked wt is inside I said power bank he dont know wht is power bank, he called some other employee to check weather they can ship electronics or not & before they answering he returned my package & asked to leave. when ever i visit govt office i feel so dirty & i feel ashamed to stay in india, there are so many mandatory things which we are supposed to complete in govt office but its really rubbish people you find most of the time.

Situated very near to RTO OFFICE Yelahanka Newtown,near to Ganesha temple, usually u can see shortage of staff ,thats why it consume much time in get doing your work in time, better to go to this post office by 9am at this time usually crowd will be very minimal.
