Stayed at this lovely resort with my family for a couple of days. Overall the experience was good. Location is wonderful, on the banks of the Kabini river, so peaceful and serene. The weather was lovely too. The resort itself isnt huge and the cottages are well spaced out which is huge plus during the pandemic. The rooms/cottages were lovely.....tastefully decorated and completely ecofriendly. The jacuzzi was a hit with the kids, especially since the pools were closed off due to the pandemic. A few complimentary activities were included in the package like a coracle ride, nature walks etc. The naturalists make the walks and the safaris very enjoyable. Kudos to the very passionate naturalists. If you are lucky you get to spot lots of animals in their natural habitats on the safari like tigers, deer, elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, lots of birds etc. One negative would be the food. Breakfast was good but lunch and dinner have limited options although tasty. The resort aims to present the local cuisine. Another negative are the roads leading to the resort. Truly a back-breaking experience but the resort more than makes up for it. for people looking for a peaceful stay not too far from Bangalore to just switch off for a few days, I would recommend it. The service is just wonderful. All the staff go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and hassle-free.

Dear All, Spending 25k per night at this property... is not worth i feel. Location i would gv 5 star, food 3 star , and stay 3 star. At 10-15 k max ... I can say yes its worth. At 25k this is not worth At all.Replying further :1. If I come to the property worth 25k, I would look for ultra luxury, which it is not. I have stayed in 100s of resorts, I would stick to the fact that the resort is over priced.

In each and every stage of my vacation, there was a problem with the resort.1)Starting off with the check-in process, I was promised to check-in at 1pm and I had to wait for 2 hours for the check-in which is not at all welcoming.2) I had paid for the candle light cruise dining at the time of reservation but nobody from the resort bothered to let me know that it was not operational until I reached the resort and there was no communication on the cancellation or any alternative arrangement of special dining instead of cruise dining.3) As soon as I enter the room I chose, (Pool reserve- 311) there were LIZARDS in the room. I dont think any guest who paid 70k would want to spend a vacation with lizards inside the room. Also at night, there were snails all around the pool and balcony which completely ruined our experience.4) As a surprise to my partner, I requested a wine bottle to be placed in the room before I check-in and I didnt find it anywhere in the room and I had to wait for it for 4 hours after I checked in. Obviously after spotting lizards and snails, nobody would still sit and have wine peacefully, so I had to return it.5)Coming to the lunch, I was not informed that Kuruba grill which was supposed to be the only decent restaurant in the entire resort was full, and I had to adjust with Honey comb restaurant with normal food.6) Since the cruise dining was not operational, a table was arranged by the pool lounge with okayish decoration. The place was supposed to be a private one but there were other guests and kids roaming around which wasnt very pleasant. And the food experience was BAD. The maincourse was extremely salty and I had to return the dishes. The starters and desserts were okay.7) Since I have come here to celebrate my partners birthday, I requested for a cake which tasted pathetic(Local Iyengar bakery cakes are much more tastier). The room was decorated upon reminding multiple times.8) Lastly, during the check-out, we had to leave by 11.30 am but due to the cancellation of cruise dining, the money settlement took a lot of time. The resort staff refused to give the credit in terms of cash, instead asked me to wait for 3 years to get 3000 rupees which is extremely ridiculous. I was left with only one option to buy stuff from the Angere shop which is totally unnecessary. Even there, I had bought a keychain and they have chosen the faulty one and packed it before I checked the product thoroughly. There are only a few people who helped us out in this bad experience. Prasad(Kuruba grill staff),Kumar(Honey comb staff) the pest control staff, Pooja(helped in room decoration). These guys were very welcoming and deserve a huge shout-out. Especially, the pest-control guy was very helpful as he personally sorted the problem each and every time. He was one of the only few staff members that didnt take us for granted.Overall, it was an extremely disappointing experience and I would never come back here again as we felt unwelcomed and unhappy with the entire experience. But upon letting them know about the feedback, the staff personally apologized and promised to offer the best that they could the next time I plan with evolve back. Also they sent me some freebies too as a token of apology.

A much needed a break at this time !Hi All,I had recently visited Evolve Back Coorg resorts for three days and I must say I had a lovely time there. The people are very warm, courteous and helpful. They care takers took every possible measure to make sure we are safe. The food was just too good ! Every time of the day the food served was amazing (vegetarian) . They have lovely sessions like Plantain walks, Bird watching and Moon light dinner for couples too ! The place was well sanitized and the climate was just perfect. This place is in the middle of the coffee estate and one can get fresh coffee powders too.. One should definitely visit this place. A little pricey but moneys worth.Plantation Tour : Mr. Yesudas was extremely knowledgeable and was very patient ti answer our questions and took us into the coffee plantation forest.Bird Watching : Mr. Gopal took us to a 2 Km walk around the resorts to show some really pretty variety of birds. Lovely sight.Point of Contact : Ms. Shilpa was one of the sweetest people there ! She was allocated personally for us and had our requirements taken every single time. Special mention to her.Coffee Museum: Yesudas and Vinod demonstrated us how different varieties of coffee are being made from a few grams of the same powder.. Espresso, Cappuccino, South Indian Filter coffee, Vietnam Cold Coffee. Vinod has a lot of tricks up his sleeve.Food In-Charge : Mr. Ibrahim was always available, took care of us and the food was just too good. Healthy foods being served too .They speak Kannada, Coorgy, Tamizh, Malyalam and English. I mean everyone of them speaks this !On the whole this was a very pleasant stay for us and we hope to come back.Cheers,Sachin

Visited this property from 30th Apr to 3rd May. It is a very beautiful property with well kept cottages. I would recommend this resort to anyone. Highly trained staff. It is Indian hospitality at its best. Staff is very good and very careful so that your stay is pleasant and comfortable. They have a lot of activities. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting this property to attend the cultural show that happens every evening. On the food front, they serve you a variety of food at their 3 restaurants. Loved how good and fresh their food was.During my stay i was helped majorly by Neetu. I would definitely be vising this property again.

It starts as soon as you get down from the car,.You are welcomed in a swirl of drums, nadaswarams and smiles. With a hot towel and cold coffee we are whisked away, as if through a magic portal, into another world. Your senses slowly become accustomed to the air, to the light , the lush green environment.Into the villa and i jump straight into our own pool.We dont just eat, we feast..Three fun soaked days and we are bathed smiles all through. The staff aret as happy as we are.........It is a sensory experience like no other. Of course we will back!.Thank you Orange County for a magnificent holiday.
