The place has not changed the original USKB is so much better the old restaurant is running with the same people the menu also has not changed no big difference from midway Mysore to USKB. If you really want to improve the fast to original please change the cook there are a lot of flies and spilt food on the floor

One of the worst hotels I have every stayed in.. worst bed room, service is bad everything there is bad.. non of the service number works to complain.. the bed and blanket is filled with bedbugs.. its just not small buds, its very big.. and the money they charge for the room is also too much.. everything was extremely worst.If Google allowed video upload I would have shown, how they were and where all.. but now this is a pic of killed bugs. By looking at this you can imagine how bad it was to spend a night there.

A beautiful beautiful thali restaurant. When youre traveling from Bangalore to Mysore or the other way around this is a really comfortable place to stop and lunch. This is a purely vegetarian place. Their food and surroundings are hygienic. Probably gets crowded in the evening when lots of long travel buses make their pit stops for the passengers. They have ample parking though, and a security guard cum helper who will guide your car for you anytime.

Super authentic food of South Karnataka. A very popular restaurant in the busy Balepet main Street. Retained traditional decor built several decades ago, so old timers should love the place.Meals are delicious and homely, prices are reasonable.Not suitable for driving by a 4wheeler. Since request to management. Please do educate your waiters how to treat customers. Theyre least aware of the items available and there is no menu card or display of food items available. A waiter went on repeating more than 4 times that idly and meals are available. Food is excellent and i have no comments about that. Please improve the uniform and behavior of waiters as it is Bangalore-Mysore highway and there are restaurants like shivalli who have maintained quality 30-40 years. So apart from food please keep other things in mind and requires improvement to compete with other restaurants on the highway. If its done then this would be my only choice whenever i take a stop at Bangalore-Mysore highway.

Nice hotel on the highway, could get south Indian at 10:30 in the night, clean and neat bathroom, but the bearers has much to be desired in terms of their appearance and approach, one of the guy simply threw the menu card on our table, we did not care either. Food was reasonably OK. Rated three star considering this.

The quality of the food is very avarage, as most of the Airavat buses stop here, so we end up eating here. If you can avoid good, or else you can feel that you got something to eat.

Even though this is a renowned old hotel who has legacy from early 1930s, the staff here is pathetic. The service turn around time is very high, people have to wait for a good amount of time till their ordered items arrive. The price that we pay and quality of service that we recieve doesnt go hand in hand.

Everything was delayed.. We had to ask multiple times to get water. Ordered items were delivered late and dosa was not cooked fully. This explained why this place was not crowded ompared to others on the same road.The rest rooms are maintained well. Staff behaved well with us and other customers.

I am writing this review from an Hospital in Kannur, Kerala. last evening, (23-Dec 2019) , along with my family ( my wife and 4 year old kid) and I drove in to this restaurant on our way from Bangalore to Kannur. I was driving the car. It was around 8:30 we had 1 Masala Dosa, 1 saagu Dosa, North Indian Thali and a coffee for Rs 340/- . I have omitted around 9:45 and stomach pains started. Then by around 11, my wife has head ache and vomiting. My son also omitted on the way. Had to stop in multiple gas stations to visit toilet. Finally Some how made it to Kannur and straight away went to hospital, all there are diagnosed with food poisoning. I am supposed to return to Dubai this afternoon and missed the flight and spending a fortune to reschedule our tickets in this peak holiday season. All the credits go to the establishment.. Happy dining for all visitors.

The place is neat and clean the waiters are moody, when its crowed. The restroom was neat but when its crowed seems like its overkill. Coming to review of the food based on what we had.1. Idli vada - 3* Sambar - 1*, chutney 1*2. Masala/ Plain dosa - 2* over roasted dark brown, you get to taste the burning. and you will be offered to take something else when you place the order excuse will be it will take 15min and would take more than that as there is queue system for the order given to the kitchen.3. Karabath - 3*4. Tea and coffee - 3*5. Price - 1* as you pay more than what you would in the City, shouldnt it be the other way???

Let me begin with saying this particular hotel honestly doesnt deserve even a single star. Its a shame actually carrying the name of a legacy hotel from Balepete! But its quite unfortunate the way they treated us! Waiting for 30 plus minutes for being asked for an order after complaining while waiting for 15 mins with no waiter attending us!We literally walked out after asking if our order ever reached the kitchen! Guess what, it didnt!When we confronted the waiter at the kitchen, that when we realised the order was not even placed!I do understand, if its on a busy day, delays are usual! But today, it was a below average crowd in Numbers! We even saw a bus full of people finish their lunch and head back, but we were not even asked by a single soul.I hate writing this review cos this hotel has a beautiful legacy and myself and my father having been a loyal customer for as long long as I could remember, getting disappointed to this extent was not expected at all!

One of the worst place highly bad attitude of waiters the person who dont have basic knowledge how to treat customer and not willing to give proper menu ..if we asked what is available showing bad attitude on his face.. when ordered food which was very cold and north indian meal was not completely served .. when asked with arrogance he said rice is getting prepared..curd rice freezeed in refrigerator from past how many days no idea! Dosa was completely roasted with stinking chutney.since kids were hungry we asked for hot fried rice came in same condition after 1/2 hr.. coffee they served bru coffee not filtered again cold.. when asked him he was showing his hands !! not at all worth for money and your time.To the hotel management u have invested so much for ambience please invest some time in educate your cook and waiters ..hardly 15 customers out of that 7 from our family.. this was the situation if it was crowded just imagine !!!!

Very Bad experience! We arrived at noon for lunch and they had only two items on menu. What kind of restaurant has only two items on the menu at lunch time?? The food was very poor. The sambhar was almost watery and not prepared with a dhal base. The uddin vada was very soft, soggy and tasteless. The service was not prompt and very poor in responsiveness. The interior was very hot without any kind of air circulation, not even a fan.This is nowhere near the expectation we had based on how good the Krishna Bhavan in balepet is.

The hotel premises are very nice. Lot of space to park, sit and walk.But the waiters are pathetic, they simply watch TV and stand there. Good for nothing. They are not at all trained how to serve food, simply some vellegers are brought here for low salary. Food taste also not that great. I visited there and had one Masala Dosa which was fully friend and no Sambar was given.
