Professionally, Inclusive and WonderfulIqra excels academically, Standards are high and respect is earned and given to staff and students alike. There is a healthy mix of students from different backgrounds, linguistic, cultural and faith. Discipline is good but not stifling and there is a healthy spirit of questioning and challenge. Education here is a process, and results gained not in a factory farming way but through paced teaching and preparation for exams.

Dear Parents,Really disappointed by the school and the management for the following reasons.1) Does not look like an international school at all. School building is not fully ready and is undergoing work even after 3 weeks of the beginning of classes.2) There is no play ground in the school.3) There is lots of filth in and around the school area making the place unhygienic for the children.4) NO commutation facility is provided by the school (Private transport is available but is lower than average or you may call it bad).5) Books and clothing is not yet provided even after 3 weeks by the school for which they have already collected money.6) Bad mannerism by school students.e.g: Spitting on each other, writing indecent words on the school bag, throwing food left overs on school bag and books etc.7) Management is minting money in the name of education and not at all pro active or want to listen to the parents. They are always busy.I suggest all parents to avoid this school for the sake of the good or you may repent later.

Mr/Ms Muscat,This space is to leave reviews and not advice. If you genuinely wanted to advice their staff then you couldve very well sent them an email. By the way it is our community school and its a shame that we are first in line when it comes to maligning our own institutions which are trying to flourish. A good Muslim(if you are one) first straightens himself before advising others .I think their staff was quite fair in correcting the brother for spreading false information. If a review with false information can be posted raising questions about the dedication of the staff to their profession then I think she has every right to correct the man sternly as he was spreading false info. I dont think this is called over reacting. I think this is called saving us all from being misled with wrong info provided by a man who probably couldnt get his way at that school and thought the best way to teach them a lesson would be to malign them without fearing the fact that he would someday be accountable for the wrong doing.Their staff being paid less or more is totally their purview, how does it bother your or me? I am sure the staff sign an agreement before working there and if they have agreed for their pay and are continuing to work there happily (Ms Ashha sounds quite satisfied and happy I must say) then what bothers us and what is our business in that matter? Was your family member forced to sign his/her job contract with less salary? If not, then why complain after agreeing and joining? As long as they are taking care of our children the way they have to as a school by imparting quality education then I dont think you and I should raise questions regarding these matters which are no business of ours and that too based on hearsay. The sister was simply correcting the man spreading falsehood. Period.Anybody reading her response will agree that the man had to be given a stern reply for the nonsense that he had written which questions their dedication towards their profession.Mr Muscat(or probably the same brother to whom she responded, is now, in a more reformed avatar but with a fake ID, giving free advice in a review space to the sister who exposed him) please prove your thoughts, words and actions too by emailing them with your advice and proving that you have no malicious intentions. Inshaallah this will be far more beneficial for them and for your hereafter too.Regards,Abdul Jaleel

Iqra International School is one of the best Islamic schools that gives equal importance to all fields of education, be it academics, sports, co-curriculum, Deen and Quran reading.Alhamdulillah! I had the wonderful chance of travelling with Iqra right from the first year as a parent, Im very happy to see the school growing and making changes every year to achieve the best for their students. My children are able to read and pronounce Quran in a very beautiful way. I was literally moved with tears when I heard my son recite Surah Al Alaq with such beautiful pronunciation and that my little daughter is able to recite Aayatul Qursi at the age of 4. At Iqra, I feel my children are set for both this life and the Hereafter.I wish and hope the best for the school.

As Salam walaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu. I was just going through reviews n come across with one of the staff of Iqra given reply to one of the parents review.Ashha Khairi, being a Muslim you shouldnt be rude even if the opposite person is rude. Islam teaches us to be kind, polite , respectful , caring n lovable. If any parent given negative review means its their personal experience whatsoever could be the reason. You guys should accept all the positive n negative review s rather than over reacting on negative review n force them to accept their mistake which is not. Please respect others and their thoughts. We are humans n mistakes can happen. If anybody given negative review ... please take it positive and improve ....its the symbol of learning and growth as well. You did masters , one of teaching staff of Iqra and ur kids are studying in same school... Masha Allah. Being a well educated teaching professional please take the things positive and accept all the reviews and work on how you guys can be much better than what you are at present. Yes even I heard that the staff are paid very less salaries. One of my family friend is working with Iqra. This is also one of the truth that the staff paid less salaries. But it depends on each individual again.please work on being more positive and accept for challenges n even negative reviews .... work on it how better you n the management can be rather than being rude, over reacting n trying to prove them wrong .Be kind in thoughts, words and actions too. Accept everything.Jazak Allah khair. Take care...As Salam walaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.

Pathetic school, dont waste your childs future, all Islamic education is an eye wash. All burden Id on parents to teach everything at home that too in a very short duration. Teachers are recruited on the least salary basis, so forget about teacher teaching. All the teachers are found doing gupshup in corridors. No play area no nothing, school is a building converted from a godown, and looks haunted.

Assalaamualaikum Brother Samiullah Shaik,Were your eyes blindfolded when you visited the schools (haunted) building at the time of admission? After reviewing clubs, pubs, movie theaters, women on horses and smoking joints you feel you have achieved a moral high ground to pass nasty comments about Islamic Education being an eye wash at Iqra? You mustve got told off by a teacher for being a lazy parent and thats why you are venting out your frustration by joblessly guessing what we do in corridors or what our salaries are!I am a teacher and a parent of 3 kids studying at Iqra and I have done Masters in the subject that I teach at Iqra, just like most teachers at Iqra who have done Bachelors, Masters (in their respective subjects), BEd or DEd. If our salaries are low then why would we be even working here? I dont think we are waiting for a savior like you to post nasty comments to help us realize that. How can Iqra conduct almost all major sports clubs(basketball, football, cricket, skating, karate) without a playground? Please fear Allah before passing wrong information (just for the heck of it!) lest you get accountable in the hereafter for your lies.

This is regarding Brother Masud Biradars review posted on IQRA website. Brother Masud, I am a guardian of two of my kids studying in IQRA school since beginning (almost 2 and half years from now) and I totally disagree your opinion... People like you in our community are enough to de motivate and bring down Islamic schools which have just started breathing in India. Please look my points as below,1) If you think it does not look like an international school at all then I am wondering if you were in the right state of mind when you admitted your child in IQRA. They were in an even smaller building when they were trying to establish themselves in first year and even during last years admission. We as parents value the quality education given at IQRA more than the building they have grown now in leaps and bounds in these two years. Even though building matters, I as a parent am ready to wait for a few weeks for the interior work to complete as I am glad to imagine the outcome of all the hard work going on.2) The terrace has been converted to a play area and I am told that talks are on going to convert the adjacent land to play area as well. I would suggest you need to have some patience. Due to the interior work there was sawdust etc on only the ground floor office area which was off limits for children. Now all of that is gone as the work has finished.3) Though they dont have transport from school, they have helped the private service providers purchase many buses to facilitate us transportations4) In every school books deliveries are pending / delayed but as a parent of IQRA from 1st year, I can say this is the first time some books were given late. All the previous years the books and uniforms were given on time. I feel you must definitely be a new parent having first time school experience else you would have known that this is very common in many schools. The delay by suppliers is something I can understand.5) I have never had these experiences with my children. Even if this happened you should have addressed it with the class teacher or appropriate authority instead of maligning the school here. You should note that many new students join school every year from many different schools and backgrounds and we cannot expect miracles in just two or three weeks, It is an Islamic School No doubt but they also need time to harness all the new children.6) We as parent should understand that no school runs on Charity and it is our wrong expectations that Islamic schools MUST run on charity. If we are looking for quality education schools management has right to take appropriate money.. If we as parents get good quality General Education on par with the best International IGCSE schools in Bangalore and to top it if our children get to learn and implement Islam through the Islamic Education and values taught then what more to ask for ?7) The management of every school is busy. At IQRA they have become busier than previous years as they are growing up and just made a big leap. You need to follow the proper channel of communication and not want to approach the management only for every small issue. This is if you genuinely have a concern and wish for it to be sorted. This explains you agitated outburst here. I am sure you would have been a tad bit more patient with IQRA had you known how beautifully it has grown from when it started two years ago. Be careful when you accuse brother as you will definitely be accountable for the words you utter on the Day of Judgment...I would like to suggest all parents to let us pray from ALLAH SWT for the success of IQRA and its management. Also requesting all parents to admit your children for the sake of good and if you wish to benefit your children in this life and the hereafter. I am very sure you will be proud of yourself and will pray for me and thank me later !!Jazakallah KhairIntekhab
