Ashwini Angadi and her father Prakash Angadi founded Ashwini Angadi Trust (AAT) in 2014. Along with a team of well-wishers, they run Belaku Academy, a residential school for the visually impaired. The Trust runs on the promise of uplifting the lives of these children. Presently, the Academy supports 35 children at a residential school in Bangalore, India, providing them with meals, shelter, and education. They believe in using education to empower children and enabling them to lead independent lives in the future. Our focus is on self-sustenance. they are a non-profit that receives no government aid. Instead, they rely on contributions from individuals, foundations and corporations to fund our programs and dreams. They have big plans and big dreams for our children - imagining them to lead lives filled with light. A life where they can live with dignity, hope, and a smile.
