HSR police station ( Law and order ) is a well functioning institute. Officers here are well informed , cooperative and citizen friendly in nature. Many facilities like HOYSALA ( mobile police help ) are very quick in response and actions too. My interaction with them both in recent and in past is fairly good. My recent interaction with Mr.Mahantesh was very helpful.

Today I saw an event go wrong in agara lake. Following which I contacted 100 which routed me to hsr police station limits .I spoke to a person called Mr Srinivas who immediately came to the spot in the hoyasala.I spoke to him and requested him to arrange a person stationed at the park for safety of walkers and briefed him with the incident which took place. He was very humble and gave us confidence that there is nothing to fear and told us he will discuss the issue with the higher officials and see what can be done about it and will definitely take action. I want to appreciate his attitude and his approach as well as the response time. Also hope that as thousands of walkers walk the park in the morning they station someone there. Corruption at HSR Layout Police Station, Bangalore during COVID.I had been visiting HSR Layout Police Station for the last two days. My car was seized by the officials on 18th May. I was on my way to attend a meeting with Chairman at Oxford Hospital, Hosur Road (health service falls under basic service so cannot be closed).The only misfortune thing that had happened was that I received an email regarding the meeting after police stopped me for inquiry. Within few minutes I received an email but a senior officer among the officials refused to entertain as I was not speaking in Kannada.He called his junior officer to seize my car which then had to be taken away from the spot while I was trying to show the email from my mobile. He made me sit next to the drivers seat and then my car was taken away.Later on that same day, I decided to lodge my protest and found an email address from google where I can write and protest. I was hoping for some action but it was futile. I have pasted the screenshot at the bottom of this post-After 10 days, my brother-in-law came with me to get the car back. I needed his help because otherwise, I had to walk all the way to the HSR layout from my residence at Mullur. On the way, we were stopped by Sarjapur Police Station for double riding on the bike. Officers denied understanding why I need my bro in law with me to get the car. We were told to pay the fine of 250/-.Finally, after reaching at HSR Layout Police Station early in the morning, I was told to get e-stamp paper worth 130 rs. and all the car documents and report at 11am which we did. But I was told to come again later at 4 pm. after reaching at 4 pm I was told to wait for a traffic police officer to check whether any penalty is pending to be paid. After waiting for some time futile, I checked the penalty online and showed no penalty to the concerned official. I was sent back again to get the original documents. I got the sense that I am being unnecessarily troubled for no fault of mine.I decided to come again the next day but this time came with my wife. I was told to wait for another 1 hour. Then, my wife decided to talk on my behalf and had to plead to quicken the process. Finally, when the officials did all paperwork, they charged me 1100/- instead of only 500/- as fine without reciept. We were told not to disclose this to anybody. It is then when I decided that i will tell everybody.No wonder why Indians are gradually moving away to settle overseas. Such is the corruption in this country that without any fault of ours, we end up being harassed and on top of that looted. Such corrupt officials make us repent of being born in India. I wanted to vent my anger and frustration out, hence this post.

I would like to inform you all, I visited the HSR layout cyber police station on 29th April 2021, there was a online scam from one of the shopping application for INR 26000 , I was in a hope these police officer will help me but of course as expected the cop informed me our office timings are from 10 am to 1 30 PM , please come tommorow as per our timings with some rental agreement documents,I was shame on my country for appointing such officers who doesnt even bother to resolve the customers problem,he is keep on asking me how that amount got debited without your approval, My phone number and account has been hacked and I was shocked when 26 k debited ,but at the beginning he decided and informed me we cant do anything in this case money is gone its gone just bring all the necessary documents to register a complaints,I was a shameful act ,by GOds grace and with my friends support I have done some investigation and i have received my money..I request all the police of Bangalore, please help your level best to support the common people like us, dont show off that your a cyber police, please be responsible for understanding your responsibility,and support those who are in really need of your support, please do not work for money ,work for people who believe in you ,it is very difficult to get a good police man in this society to support us when we need it 🙏...I request you please understand the problem of poor without expectations GOD will help you back ..

It was my first visit to a police station and it was regard to phone lost report.The police were very coperative and polite in taking the complaint.It just took the one day to find out my phone,I was surprise the very next day they called me know password of phone which the belived to be mine.I cant explain how happy I was.I feel glad to approach these police officers

One of the worst police stations, dont borther visiting them. It is actually becoz of such people the entire police force gets a bad name.

They outright refused to help me because I asked them if they would converse in English or Hindi since I dont understand Kannada. Extremely disappointed.

Unbelievable! My first experience with a police station in Bangalore and I was floored! Did not expect policemen and a police station to be so warm, helpful and welcoming....hats off to the station in charge and the commissioner! Everyone, right from the lady at the help desk to the two policemen and women I met for my work were so courteous and non government type employees!!!This is definitely new India in the making!!!

Staff were very polite when arresting me. Car was very clean and quite comfortable. The room was a very basic, not much decoration going on, but still got a great sleep in those comfy mattresses. Checking out in the morning was very exceedingly pleasant. Would highly recommend and will be back again for sure.

Very responsive, pleasantly surprised! Phone number listed online was correct. Phone was answered immediately by officer speaking English who promised to come immediately to investigate the matter.

Be careful while youre signing here they might use your signature to make you a witness to a crime that youve never seen , horrible experience , I had gone ther to file a complaint about my lost car on 8.3.2016 and 2 years later I find my signature and address being used as a witness for another crime which I was totally unaware about!When I told that I have not signed on the said paper and my signature was only on the complaint that I had written , they forced me and coherced me into giving false statements , which I did not agree too ! Please be careful with the cops here , they treat only the passport verification nicely , and I see a lot of positive reviews only because of that , try filing an FIR over here youll know what I mean ! Unethical policemen who harass innocent citizens.

Not sure if i should be comfortable providing feedback and they may act upon based on your feedback. How govt making sure feedback is valued, unbiased and reviewers are not scared!! I had multiple instances where they were rude, not cooperative, behaving rude just bcz i am hindi and english speaking. I am resident of Bangalore and India, paying my taxes which is paying police officers salary. But when it comes to get service why such behaviour. This is painful.

My first and worst experience. Police is there to help common people, but they donot want to. Lost my scooty 12 days ago, but still there is no progress. They didnot event took FIR. And not going to check CCTV. Everyday they r calling me to police station and doing nothing. Just taking my signature in entry sheetFeeling really helpless

Only reference works here. The police first listen our complaint, called the person on who’s name we had complained.. that person said my friend is ur batchmate only . That’s it . The police then said no no I can’t take your complain. Moral get another reference of police and only then expect them to take ur complaint.

This Police Station is actually Good, Policemen are always alert and helpful, they round up cities whole night just to keep citizens secure I have been lived in Agara More than 10 Years and Crimes I saw are very less Credits to this Police Station so it deserves 5 Star

Very bad experience. Visited here to report a theft happened in our apartment. The police officers in the so called Intelligence team were inexperienced in dealing with such stuffs. We had to look for the CCTV footage ourselves and handed over to police. What kind of officers use a mobile camera to take a copy of CCTV footage? Luckily, our stuff was recovered.

Not deserve any star.... Somebody snatched my new mobile and i went there to put a FIR but they are not filling the FIR... After 3 days of struggle they put FIR.... And till yet they dont give any information about my phone..
