I love this place, I think any music lover would find the peace here. They are maintaining well. The only thing I was sad about is I saw many pianos are kept simply without care and not in use. It can be repaired and used if not then they can sell it out and in that money they can buy latest instruments. Just a suggestion.

My son learnt piano for close to one year in this place. We didnt like the first instructor but upon request his instructor was changed to a slightly aged and learned lady. She was brilliant.

Learnt good things

I study Piano here. BSM organises quite a few concerts with acclaimed artists from both India and abroad. Its a great place to meet and connect with people of different cultures.

I was a Cello faculty member for Bangalore school of Music from 2003 to 2008. I worked for the Swedish project from 2003 to 2007 in Bangalore and Coimbatore. In 2008 I quit from Bangalore school of Music due to dirty politics and corruption. I was solely responsible for the development of the cello section. My job for the Swedish project required me to travel from Chennai to Bangalore over the weekend. To my surprise on a particular Friday there was a surprise raid by the Swedish project organizers. I was enquired about my payment and my allowance and I told them the truth, but they were shocked to hear that the expense incurred by them through the School was far greater than the allowance and payment I was provided. They further conducted enquiries on my colleagues and the information was no different. This was funded by the Swedish taxpayers money to the tune of rupees 40 lakhs annually. The late Mrs. Aruna Sunderlal was caught and failed to provide sufficient information to support the use of funds. Upon further enquiry, among misuse of funds, forgery was also found to be a cause of concern and they concluded with the decision to exit from the Swedish project, bringing and end to this venture.I was stationed at Coimbatore on the same project. During this time a shipment of musical instruments arrived, the worth of which was nearly one crore rupees. This included 4 double bass, 8 cellos, violins, violas, guitars, music stands, strings, a grand piano and many upright pianos. These are currently being used in Bangalore School of Music in RT Nagar.A few years ago there was an instance of sexual harassment in BSM and also instances of drug consumption. Mrs. Sunderlal upon awareness of this instance tried to fix the situation by apologizing to parents in order to avoid damages that would result from an FIR being filed.I have substantial proof to support my aforementioned statements which I will divulge as needed in due course of time.I intend to highlight this matter to State Government and Central Government authorities and also to mainstream media.According to me, strict action must be taken and the arrest of certain fraudulent people is long overdue.I have enough information on the flow of funds and also the misuse of it.I have physical proof of a complaint made to Mrs. Sunderlal by concerned parents regarding drug abuse in the premises of Bangalore school of Music. I was disappointed by uninformed cancellation of an Opera event at BSM but the management got back to me with an apology which I truly appreciate. Looking forward to attending some great music events here in the near future!

No proper respo se frm other side

I wanted to join this institute. I called them but the person on the other side was not very helpful. A bit rude. And the fees is really really high. Good courses but bad management.

No one receives the calls would like to know about 6th grade classes timing , fees structure & admission details.
