I took the class on acrylic painting that was conducted from July to September. It was an online class, twice a week on weekends. The class was conducted very professionally and I learnt a lot about using the medium even though I was very new to it. Kavitha Mam, our instructor was very diligent about the classes, professional and patient in her approach. She went through a lot of the basics as well as advanced material. The camera set up and technology they used was seamless and I would highly recommend this class. This is the third course I am taking from pencil and chai fine arts gurukul, and all of them have been top notch.

Attended their drawing fundamentals online course. Would recommend for anyone looking to get an overall understanding of the drawing skills that need to be developed.

I had really unpleasant experience trying to admit my daughter to one of their courses.This rating is for the admissions and accounts.Poor communication, leaving single liner whatsapp message., no calls. Giving deadlines of 2 hours to pay the fee. Our slot apparently then was given to someone else.. since no one replied back in night.If you wish your time to be valued please value others time too.

A nice place to learn drawing from scratch or rediscovering your passion for art. They have excellent instructors, and conduct workshops by professional artists. I had a great learning experience.

My wife goes to classes here. She is super happy with the classes and quality of faculty. Run for passion and not for money. She has plans to join more of their classes if COVID doesn’t play a spoil sport.

At Pencil and chai, you will discover your artistic talents within you. Realistic plants, flowers, birds and landscapes that I had never imagined to draw or paint were encouraged and taught duely well. The place is absolutely fascinating with lively plants and stunning artwork which gives you a peace of mind to draw and paint to your hearts content. At 35 years of age, I wanted to revisit my childhood hobby of drawing and hence discovered Pencil and Chai .... the moment I set my eyes on the walls of this place, I knew I was entering an artist’s abode. The place by itself is so beautifully done, that art just flows out of you. Both the teachers are extremely passionate artists and are dedicated towards bringing out the best in you. It has been a memorable experience.I highly recommend you to walk in... artist or otherwise... you will have a refreshing experience...

Pencil and Chai is a great place to learn drawing, colouring and painting using different medium. It is a very good place to get theoretical knowledge and practice.One can learn at their own pace. Kavitha and Anup are very friendly and guide you without suffocating you with their ideas. They let you develop your own style at your own pace. Small class, providing more personal attention and getting to know fellow students of varied background are some of the highlights at Pencil and Chai.I personally loved the creativity and the artistic atmosphere (plants/paintings/used plastic objects/pottery....) that prevails in every nook and corner at Pencil and Chai.In short, if you really love art and you are ready to put in your best effort, Pencil and Chai is for you.

This is one of the best place to learn fine arts 🎭 in a structured manner. The faculty’s are putting great efforts to convey the concepts. Highly recommended!👍

I have learnt many minute details about water color painting which I was not aware of before. Kavita Maam teaches very nicely with lot of patience and her technique of teaching is very good. I am very satisfied and blessed to be a student of Pencil and Chai Art Academy and will continue to learn further from this institutions. I enrolled in the watercolour painting course taught by Ms. Kavita. I was surprised to see that within 3 months I had a firm grasp on the basic watercolour strokes and techniques. Kavita has a great talent for choosing interesting references for us to paint. She is a joy to learn from and encourages all her students to bring out their best in class.

Pencil and Chai is a great art school. People without any art experience will also get a lot from the professional courses they conduct. Teachers are very experienced and skilled.

Got the certification for basic of acrylic painting, kavitha n guruji taught from basics and helped at every step. The sessions were interactive, the curriculum improved my skills and built confidence.

I liked the open class system of Pencil and Chai. The classes are held in various areas of Cubbon park and thats amazing. The basic course gave me good fundamental to start off my sketching. Thanks to Mahesh and Anup sir.

I attended the watercolor course and had Kavitha maam as the teacher. I learnt quiet a lot in 3 months and can happily say I can paint a decent watercolor painting . The ambience is really good and it inspires the artist in you.
