They have a huge collection of books from common to the most uncommon of all. The most fascinating thing about this place is that they keep regional books and books in translations too. I am from Kolkata and my research topics were more Bengali culture specific and since I dont stay in Kolkata it was hard to get hold on to Bengali books as such but Sahitya Akedemi in Bangalore really have a good collection. They have a huge collection on various folklore and folktales.Do check in. Its inside one of Bangalore University campuses.
