The rooftop ambience is very beautiful and gives a good view. Since it is tightly packed, reservation might be needed on the weekends. Food is good. We liked the starters very much. They were delicious. Some of the main course dishes were better than others. Service is very good as well. Its a great place to have a nice lunch or dinner and can be easily located.

The ambience is lovely the staff very friendly. The food is something everyone should try...your taste buds will definitely be hit with different flavours with every bite. Among all the dishes we tried, we would recommend the good fortune soup (for all the soup lovers) it is different from the usual soup but very tasty. Then there was the Thai chilli beef which was our personal favourite and then the hangover noodles.

The ambience at the restaurant was great, but thats all the restaurant should be known for. I ordered a bowl of laksa and what I got was a bowl of thick thai green curry and noodles. When I told the management of this they simply responded by saying they use the same base masala for both the Thai green curry and laksa!!???!!. I honestly couldnt even eat half a bowl cause it was soo bad legit the worst laksa ever.

If you want to have Indian food go to there other part Ebony. On the edge as it was previously called, has recently rebranded to ASEAN - on the edge. The restaurant is on the 13th floor in Barton centre and is one of the most beautiful candlelit restaurants in the city. What I love about the food here is that it’s not mainstream pan Asian with Chinese and Japanese taking the spotlight away from less known but delicious delicacies from other south east Asian countries. For some of the dishes I literally got up from my chair and did a little dance. I love what ASEAN has done with their menu and I am definitely going to become a regular here. The dishes that won my heart were:The banana flower salad which was crunchy yet soft. I couldn’t believe that banana flower could actually taste like that!! The hint of rice wine and the garlic was brilliant. The nonya butter crunchy soft shell crab - ok I am mildly allergic to crab but a bite here and there doesn’t hurt. So when our host recommended it I was tempted to take a bite. This dish is just so easy to eat without all the struggle and mess that comes with eating crab and it’s simply delicious. I couldn’t stop myself from eating it and they also make this dish with prawns or calamari. The chiang mai risotto was something I managed to polish off my plate even though I was feeling quite full with the appetisers and entrees. It was the most delicate balance of flavours with wonderful hints of lemongrass, coriander, coconut and lime. The texture was so creamy it’s definitely one of the best Risottos I’ve ever tasted.Malacca curry with roti jala - first off I like how pretty the roti jala looks and how delicate it’s texture is. The malacca curry was simply the best compliment to the crisp but delicate roti jala crepe’s.I loved the cocktails we had. You must try their penicillin and sangria. Some of my other recommendations would be the Burmese khaoswe, nasi goreng, and the tofu mushroom & broccoli satay. For our drinks we ordered the penicillin,Please specify if to your host if you would like sharper flavours. The staff were very warm and friendly. Service is prompt and I had no complaints whatsoever.I can’t wait to take my folks here as they love pan Asian cuisine and seafood.

A nice place to spend an evening with your family and friends. It has an amazing ambience on the 13th floor (top floor) of the huge tower that has a beautiful view facing the MG road. The place is a bit dark with few yellow lights fitted on the walls. It feels quite amazing especially when they light up a candle on your table. You would not wish to move out for a long time. For the ones coming in exploration of the food items there, one may try the Thai food served there for a different taste. The cost is also quite reasonable for such a place. Totally worth it!

Since the time this place was open, I’ve heard good testimony about it and I so wanted to visit this place and finally made it for a family dinner. Firstly, it’s so interesting that the restaurant is on the 13th floor and it offers a spectacular view of our City; I’m pretty sure that it’s much more mesmerising during the day. Since We came here for dinner, the ambience have minimal lighting with light background music which was pleasant. The staff were courteous and guided us through the menu. For starters we had the Spare pork ribs-the meat was so juicy and tender and it easily fell from the bone, highly recommend this for pork lovers. The second starter I had was the Nonya soft Crab shell, this was so incredible cause it’s my first time trying soft shell crab and I was surprise of how tender and crunchy the shell. For mains I love love the Korean Bulgogi cause it comes with sticky rice and accompanied with kimchi, potato etc. The Nasi Lemak, Mee Goreng and the Asean steaks is also a must try dishes, all dishes were delectable. I’m so going to come back and try more dishes here!

Asean - on the edge is one of the best place to enjoy pan asian food in Bangalore. The restaurant is located on 13th floor of barton centre just next to the famous pub 13th floor. From on the edge one gets a breathtaking view of MG Road, the lush green of cabbon park and this view itself makes your visit worth. In my two visits I have found the service quite prompt but the place is not big and also very popular. Hence prior reservation is recommended.Coming to food, I can say its pretty awesome from what I have tried so far. Nonya butter crunchy soft shell crab is a must try. ASEAN - On the Edge is a premium restaurant which features some of the best Pan Asisan Delicacies and Delectables from the Asean Countries. Located on the 13th Floor on the Barton Centre ,On the Edge is a part of the 13th floor restaurant group along with Ebony. The place has one of the best outlooks of the city, from that height you can see half the city around you, its basically an on the edge terrace with natural breeze. The ambience is simple and nice, pretty good for a very romantic dine out. The only concern here is that, the place can house a maximum of 25-30 people, hence prior booking is a mandate.Coming to the food ,tried Banana blossom Salad, which is a cold salad made out of banana flowers ,the flavours were pretty good. The mushroom tofu satay was one of the best tofu eats I have ever had, it had a subtle coconut taste to it. Thai crispy vegetables and salt and pepper lotus stems are recommendables to.Chaing Mai Rissoto is a must try here, it was prepared better than most of the Italian outlets in the city, had a strong taste of lemon grass in it, too good. Burmese Khao Suey, the first place to bring to town. Noodles served with Thai soup, nuts , vegetables fried onions, tasted pretty good.Coming to the dessert, Tiramisu Crepe cake, stands up to its name with several layers of super thin cake with one top another with a strong coffee flavour, Japanese cheese cake was good to.Taste-5/5Price-4/5Ambience-4/5Presentation-5/5Quantity-5/5Quality-5/5Worth it ? - Yes yes yes, I would certainly say its worth it as its one of the most Authentic Pan Asisan restaurants in the city.Whether I would visit them again? - Yes!

Bad food, bad service and very chaotic.Went for a relatives birthday party, everything was free so I didnt have to hold back on ordering anything (the food was cheap so I wouldnt have held back anyways), but not only was I unable to find a dish that I would consider average or better, I had to call the waiter several times because he seemed to be preoccupied with something behind the scenes, as I was unable to find him most of the time.I also couldnt find any other staff, Im unsure about whether they were understaffed because of COVID and were unable to solve the problem due to poor management, or if it simply is always like this. The bottled water tasted weird, and cost a whopping INR 150 per bottle.I have unfortunately forgotten the amount of water in it, but I assume it was 1 litre.I dont mind the cost, but it wouldve been nice if it didnt taste like unfiltered water. There was chaos everywhere, with the amount of people inside combined with the lack of service, it isnt surprising that this would be the case.I wouldnt want to revisit, and to anyone that wants to have a meal here, I would like you to reconsider.

Its an exotic place for fine dining experience. Not the typical restaurant where you can order familiar food. The menu is mostly international and you may have trouble understanding certain type of food. Ask questions and understand your meal before placing the order. The view is quite exquisite from the dim lit balcony. Its pretty wonderful to look at the bustling streets of Bangalore from 13 floors above. But should you visit here? If you are looking for a once in a while executive dining experience with your significant other, this might be the place. Buy a few starters and a glass of alcohol and have a long chatty evening. But dont expect a stomach-full experience. Cost for two or even one can be on the higher side. But anyway, why not when you get a birdseye view of night life. (if occasionally, that is)
