We started with Chilly, it was amazingly delicious and just got us into the vibe of only place. You could also try Steak Medallions, Sergeant pepper steak and Op Special Chicken. 🤩 The only place for a reason.

We asked for recommendations from the manager and he didnt disappoint.Beef steak was absolutely lip-smacking, especially with the pepper sauce given on the side.Lamp chops are great too.

This is my first time visiting this place and we were the first team reached the hotel at opening time. The waiter showed us a table and the ambience was extra ordinary. After 15 minute the waiter came and took the order. We ordered chilly beef as starters, lamb lasagne and D fillet mignon steak (beef). The food was delicious and the lasagne is a mind blowing cuisine. The steak we ordered, only serve for 1 person. First we thought we should order more. And it will take 30 minutes to get the order. Unfortunately we were full with that food. The only issue we faced from this restaurant was the rudeness of the waiter. He always keep away from us and does not respond to us. Other than that overall experience was good.

We had cream of chicken soup, chicken nuggets, the steak burger and the chateubriand Supreme.The cream of chicken soup was lovely but I liked the chicken nuggets best with a nice crispy exterior and moist succulent chicken inside.We had the steak cooked medium as per the hosts recommendation. It was cooked perfectly and melted in the mouth. The steak burger was a bit chewy. We didnt enjoy it as much as we could have because of that.For dessert, we had apple pie with ice-cream. It was great as well. Although the menu said that the pie would come with whipped cream, we didnt get any on ours and realized this much later.Place was crowded on a Sunday but our wait (three people) wasnt long. Decent crowd and they have good options in the menu for kids. Our host was gracious and friendly.All in all a good experience. Would go again

The Chateaubriand Supreme steak. One of the best steaks eaten on a home delivery. Was still hot and didnt get tough after it arrived. I hope Ill be able to dine in the next time Im in Bangalore. Superbly prepared.

Just WOW! We had their Chateaubriand Supreme beef steak, Steak au poivre, lamb whopper and beef whopper. Apple pie with ice cream as dessert too. 100% satisfied with all of them. The restaurant has great vibe and ambience to it. Would highly recommend if you are non-vegetarian.

So good! I went during peak lunch hours on a Saturday and we were served and attended to pretty quickly, and they were accommodating to all our specific requests. For instance I ordered sautéed veggies and Spinach and had it with garlic bread. Their portions are too huge for me to finish by myself so this is what I did.

One of the old places in Bangalore that continue to serve amazing steaks and burgers. You should absolutely try and all American cheese burger (with double meat). Itll surely bring tears to your eyes.... I tried their fiery chicken which was good. I love their apple pie as well, which is surely served warm with a scoop of icecream.

Was originally located in Brigade Road - TOP has been able to maintain its taste and quality quite consistently over the decades. Complementary Garlic Toast served while you wait for your food being prepared keeps your hunger pangs in check.

Probably the best go to place continental foods. Downside is its always crowded especially during Friday and weekend nights . Would encourage to reserve a table before arriving.

My first visit. The person who took the order was kinda stern, rude and in a hurry. It was early in the evening with 2-3 tables to attend to. Yet the person was in a hurry. The plating was very bad. Place was suggested by a friend and had checked the reviews online. Hence chose the place. But very disappointed with the experience I had.

Thier saffs are rude dont treat the customer well based on the dress people are treated thats not fair you cannot judge a person i hate that kind of places. This is the only place i will not suggest any of my family or friends to go. To the owner of the place please educate your staff. Today is our last day to this place never again will i ever come here.

Im visiting all the old turfs post the pandemic abstinence; I was excited to check The Only Place again, entering the eatery is akin to going to an old aunty or grandparents home. You see that time hasnt been kind, the décor is seriously dated and stuck in a time warp, but there is a charming immediacy to the space.You come here for the food and nothing else to be frank. The service is brisk and they simply dont entertain any customization or requests (our mayo-free salad request was summarily dismissed). The menu hasnt changed for decades, I mean I get the why fix the wheel, when it aint broken. We were here for a quick meal and got a tomato soup and a chicken chowder. Both were good, esp. the chowder, which had loads of comforting bits of chicken and a perfectly creamy soup.We moved to some protein and a chicken steak for me and fish for bae. My chicken was a nice large piece of bird, but was a bit bland and had to use the mustard to liven it a bit, the mash tasted a bit off for some reason and miniscule portion of low end veggies was overboiled. The fish thankfully was seer, but at close to 600 a plate, was nothing to write home about, that tartar sauce was a little too cold and solid. We didnt get dessert, but had a conversation about value for money at these classic old school Bengaluru restaurants and at close to 1600 odd for the meal and the best thing being the soup and complimentary garlic bread, we couldnt help feel underwhelmed, especially when there were newer places offering far more memorable meals at value.oh well! we did see a lot of patron happily chomp their burgers and of course beef remains their USP? so maybe its best to stick to those classics.

Very very disappointed today with lunch .First BBq chicken was not cooked properly and had bone , when I shared feedback with server , he just ignored my feedback with no response at all.Paprika chicken was average and not what you crave for in future .The toilet was as good as a govt office or roadside toilet. It stinks n was super dirty ... wonder how 3 restaurants are using this as only bathroom with no complaints .Overall not a good experience, I dont think I would be visiting again.Time for owner to relook at the standard it food and restaurant with service.

Loved the Chateaubriand supreme beef steak, it was well done and served well. The favourite has to be the apple pie with ice cream though, it was an absolute delicacy and was thoroughly relished.

In our opinion The Only Place offers you a good quality meat at a reasonable price and a friendly service. Have been in Bangalore since one year and we think this is the best steak quality and best value in town. Atmosphere is very comfortable and cozy.

Amazing food, wait time is bit more and the seating capacity fills very fast. I would suggest the hotel management to teach their staff how to behave. They are being so judgemental on customers possessions.

The Only Place , is an old landmark, for steaks and their lovely pies in Bangalore. Now, its just an average place since their owner passed. Waiters though are pleasant , adhering to Covid protocols. The taste of food has definitely changed. Still , for the Old Bangaloreans, it brings back memories of a lovely place for meets.

The food was good! The only reason I rated it lower is because of the fact that tips are asked despite one of our orders not being registered. When asked why that item hasnt come, they said we didnt order it. That was absurd. I did hear that the staff are really nice, but that wasnt my experience.

This place is really good. The ambience is calming. You can hangout here with your friends and family or can have parties here. They have their own parking area too. The food were really delicious. The all American cheese burger and the chicken lasagna is a must try. For desserts I would suggest Blueberry cheesecake. I gave it a four star because the steak we order was not properly cooked. Otherwise everything else was just awesome.

Food quality deteriorated since our last visit before Corona time. The steak lost its taste, meat was chewy, fish finger was decent. Service remains prompt although the tables were full and many waited outside on Saturday evening.

The food was good. The service was bad. Wed ordered three dishes. When we asked why the third was getting delayed he said wed ordered only two and if we needed the third,wed have to wait longer. It came almost an hour late. We had not opened our mineral water bottle at the end of our meal and requested him to deduct the amount from the bill and he refused. Despite this they hand over the card swipe machine and compel you to add a tip amount before the bill amount is typed in. Never seen anyone do that in any restaurant.

My first visit was really great. The cottage cheese burger was really good. But in the second visit horrible. We have to wait at least for 20 mins for table and surprisingly some tables was already empty. After that again 20 mins for menu. Staff was ignoring like no ones business. After all those we got our food the chicken in chicken burger was raw same as the case with chicken steak. We complained and got the alternative dish that was fine but was too buttery. Overall experience for the second time was pathetic and lethargic. Ambience is also fair.

I have been visiting this place more than 10 years now. Filet Mignon was ok and nothing special. The reason I am giving 1 star is because the staff doesn’t have an ounce of courtesy or any customer etiquette. They act like connoisseurs of steaks and customers don’t know anything. The older staff who have been there for sometime, have lost the ability to even talk to customers in a well mannered tone. I understand Tamil and heard 2 staff members whining to each other about how annoyed they were about my next table customers. Totally unacceptable and with the food being below par, I don’t recommend anybody to visit this place. The quality has dropped in every way.

An old favourite and has so many happy memories for me. Its like going back in time to what Bangalore used to be like a couple of decades ago (or more) Love the grilled fish, quiche, steaks and the iconic pies especially the good old apple pie. The steaks are by far the best thing on the menu, and my favourite is the Châteaubriand Supreme. Other favorites include the Filet Mignon, the cheese-covered Boston Special, and the Steak au Poivre. Ive heard good things about the burgers too. The lamb chops are a great starter, and the caramel custard is good for dessert.
