It was here that we were ordered to tie head scarves on our heads, as we further enter the territory of the mosque. In addition, you must go through a metal detector. Further, a rather large courtyard opened in front of us, where several shops with religious literature and other paraphernalia are located. I can say that the prices are impressive.On the ground floor of the mosque there is a dressing room, where we went to start. Here you can change into a dressing gown with a smell (I’m sorry if I incorrectly call this clothing), covering my feet to the toes, as well as hands and generally everything that needs to be closed. He dresses on top of his clothes, is issued free of charge and is comfortable to walk in. Shoes are also left in the locker room. Since we prepared poorly, we had to walk in socks. This place is HUGE. I really like to visit places which are associated with a culture so I sure didnt miss this. Very nicely designed and a great example of Architecture. It has also got a butcher shop and a restaurant which offers one of the best Uzbek food. The people are great and this place can hold a lot of capacity.

It was very exciting experience. Offering prayer in moscow which I was not expecting and then Loved the azan of this place. It was full crowded for Jummah Salat. Don’t miss the chance to see this mosque.

A beautiful mosque near Prospekt Mira Station. You enter through metal scanners at the gates. Follow signs for the mens and womens ablution areas(mens are below ground nearer the main entrance). Architecture is simply beautiful. There is also a shop inside the mosque compound to get some gifts, dates, souvenirs or books.

Incredible Mosque with greatest architecture. Super spacious and very nice location. Well maintained as its still new mosque. Goldern Dorm from outside remind us to their tradition orthodox Russian architecture. Interesting not only for Muslim to perform their praying but also its suitable to become visit places too.

Taste is good, ambience is immitating ussr times decoration. We had problems with service, we asked for changing an order, after 30 seconds of placing it, they said, it wasnt possible, so we had to pay for the wrong dessert.. Non acceptible behaviour, on a tourist hot spot.

Biggest Masjid in Moscow. The architecture is that of a typical masjid. It looks beautiful and it us very peaceful and tranquil. Well worth a visit if your in the area.There is a gift/souvenir shop where you can buy little goodies from but I never went in so I dont know what its like.

This is an impressive looking mosque which is just a few minutes walk from a metro station. It offers something different from the usual Moscow skyline. I enjoyed walking around the spacious interior and found it quite peaceful.

Even though Im not associated with Islam, I decided to take a look of how does mosque look like inside.I was amazed by calm and tranquil atmosphere, charming architecture, friendliness of some of the Muslim fellow visitors.Leaving shoes at the entrance and walking in socks only, makes the mosque feel like home.Feel free to visit the indoors during the opening hours, too.Short (maybe 30 min) tours are offered, at least in Russian.Halal and souvenir store are located in the inner territory of the mosque.Theres a small museum of Islam on the third story of the mosque. There are navigation guidences in English inside.Remember, the entrance to the mosque is divided for women and men.Women must have their heads covered since walking through the security point.

One of my favourite mosque in Moscow city.Have special area for womens and have little museum in 3rd floor, and decorations there is amazing, Islamic arabic style.

Land for this mosque was purchased by Taters in 1902 and the mosque was completed in 1904. The mosque was demolished in 2011 as part of the refurbishment project which started on 2005. Actually the original mosque was not properly aligned with Mecca. It is located near Olympic Stadium and was opened to public in 2015 by Vladimir Putin in the presence of Turkish President and Preisdent of Palestinian Authority . It is also known as Tatar Mosque.

I love this place. I recommend you to visit 3rd floor of this mosque.

Went there out of curiosity and because it looked very nice from the outside. After getting through the security and getting my Jedi coat at the entrance (was wearing shorts which is not allowed in the mosque) I entered through the men entrance, got off my shoes and went to witness a service. Quite interesting, especially as a not really religious person. Worth a visit if u are around anyways.
