The place is quite crowded specially new driving license counters 16 and so on it will be better if there will be multiple place observing the crowd as wait time is around 2 to 3 hours is quite big time in this pandemic hoping management will think about this as well and improve the service offerings in this difficult time apart from everything specifically is good here staffs are friendly and very cooperative for the vechile and related documents making.

[Update** The RTO may unpleasantly surprise you by asking for more documents so pls ask fr a list of all required docs]Its RTO office for the number series KA 05. The office is based on 3rd floor of the building. Ground floor is bus stop. For RTO related work, you can get parking on top floor for two as well as three wheeler.Experience - the office staff are cooperative. Knowing local language helps but one can manage even otherwise.Avoid agents as one may be charged few thousands for a job that takes few hundred INR. Use online portal called parivahan and use local office for submission of docs.For photo copies and print outs one can use shops in the ground floor.

Purpose of visit : Hypothecation TerminationBeing educated I had a panic attack here because of the complex process , no social distancing , they want you to remove mask when you talk to them.Hence I am writing this review to make others life easy. Follow this only if you do not have much time and want to be done with the process in 30minutes. It costs you Rs 200 extra.Before leaving home check for these documents :2 copies Form 35 received from bank1copy Vehicle PUC certificateXerox of Aadhaar cardOrginal RCHead straight to Cyber center above Shree Sagar HotelTell him its for Hypothecation removal need to pay online fee for it.Online fee RTO : INR 200His internet handling : INR 200 ( that extra I mentioned above)He takes a copy of the fee paid application form , you need to sign it and he scans and uploads a copy of that fee paid , Aadhaar softcopy , PUC softcopy, RC on the RTO portal and completes the process.File + Zip lock Cost : INR 50He neatly arranges them , places the Original card in the zip lock and Files all of it.Total cost : 200 + 200 + 50 = INR 450All you need to do is carry this file to RTO and hand over to the Hypothecation removal departmentThey will validate if you have completed the online procedure,RC card will be scanned and you will be provided with a Acknowledgement copy with RTO seal and sign for tracking purpose.Hope this helps.

I went for DL renewal with address change and name correction. One male person was very rude and couple of female staffs were friendly. You don’t find easy steps to understand and follow and need to ask people on next steps. To answer us they show so much attitude, typical government office. Don’t know when will our some of government staffs behave properly do their job. The online portal is good to book appointment, but RTO office service can be improved.

This is a typical govt office for your motor licence needs and exams. The biggest problem here is that they only allow the applicants to enter the office and everyone else stay outisde and SIT on the floor. Whether is elderly, kids, challanged etc. Not a single chair. The security is rude. Thee office bearers are unhelping.

Poorly kept office. Some staff are really friendly and guide you properly. Some of them dont have a clue of your queries. So you need to ask multiple staff till you are satisfied and convinced of a solution. DL section staff are friendly except some old staff. No toilet. Have to use the public toilet in the bus stand. Lifts are working. Lots of parking space available. Photocopying, atm, canteen, available in the busstand.

It was overall good. Govt office as it should be. Everything will be available there only. The green postal sheets, transparent sheets everything. Please ask the person sitting right in front once you enter the RTO office. Theres parking as well. Hope they tell everyone at once what we have to bring and do earlier only.

Need to Improvise regards to long Ques Especially photo booth is only one and the Que will be as long as 100 people at a time....... to Avoid people standing in Que as so many people are on Jobs..... they take an special permission for this DL work and come and when it becomes late it will be loss of Pay.......... Need to Improvise in many related field...... as some junior officers speaks in very rude way in Enquiry department....... they take out there personal frustrations on the Public which is not Good..... Its an Request to all senior RTO officers to see to it and look into it in a seriousness.....

Quite good there is a parking on the top floor. And by parking at the top there is a way to go for the Learning License on the 2nd floor. They charge parking. You will also find a que outside the office

Too much of attitude they dont respond to u if ask twice they shout at u, enquiry counter 4 person is super rude seriously no culture as if they r doing free of cost or help they behave, today one old 55plus aged person asked twice so he sorted that he came 10:45 where counter should be open by 10am. Saturday for me 15 min late I was 12:15 he sent me back any information. They play with us , I traveling from yalanka to 4th block for that also he is not concern in sharing complete information on RC hypothication cancel simple process. If you applying for LL or DL the you have to alot the slot atleast a week prior , because the availablity of slots are very less, Still thanks to its online services of uploading documents online via parivahan website1.documents needed while Learner license (LL)are slot booking xerox ,form 1 xerox),adress proof (adhaar card),age proof(SSLC MARKSCARD) ALL ORIGINAL along with photocopy2.go to counter 14&15 as (given in images below) pay the fee for LL3. Documents verification here this will be long line approx 30 min line which is counter no 17&18 just ask is it line for documents verification join the line given in photo4. Then you will get sms regarding the application no ,pincode for LL test JOIN THE line next to documents verification line move in the line they will call your name then just go and give yeh test .which is of 15 questions and min 8 correct answers to pass (best of luck) .if you answer 8 questions correctly in 15 questions it will prompt PASS .then its done you will get LL CERTIFICATE WITHIN 1-4 DAYS . as PDF5.be sure to give a like if you feel its helpful and comment down for queries

I had to visit 6 times for getting a duplicate DL. I had submitted the application online but for each step I had to go to RTO and ask them to move it to next stage. In the end, they were unable to find my offline application and asked me to come back and they will give an update.After pursuing each clerk in the office, I was able to get the DL without paying anything extra. Online application is a misnomer. They don’t move until it’s coming from an agent.Information posted online needs to be improved as Application for Duplicate doesn’t mention anywhere that I will have to visit the RTO for photo (pay extra for photo). Also, why do we have to give an self addressed envelope when we have to only collect the license.

It was really a great experience. I booked my slot through online and within the stipulated time frame I walked out of the RTA office. Everything was very systamatic. Never thought that the process is going to be so easy & comfortable taking in to account my previous experience with RTA. Nil corruption. Its a wow experience. I had an appointment for driving licence renewal at 12 noon,. It just took 9 minutes for all the process to complete- including biometric. Btw I completed all processes online including payment, except smartcard payment, which I did at RTO office. 👍

Very ill organised. I have been waiting in que since 8 am and one solotech driving school group comes with an agent at 9 45 am and just goes ahead of all in the qué without any qualms about it. No one to complain here. No one to manage the crowd too. Many without masks on their faces too.

The RTO - Mr Beeregowda is an extremely helpful and a very humble human being. Mr Beeregowda was very helpful in sorting the issue related to my digital DL card. I got the card within one day. You can do all RTO related needs yourself like , renewal of DL, Fitness certificate and reregistration. Sarathy 4 online can be utilised as I had to get fitness done for Car and two wheeler.You may have to visit the place provided if any updates like spell error, change of adress at room no 3, the guy here is polite and does the work immediately.After submitting online or cash counter payments you can drive vehicle yourself to the Rto inspector, you have to follow the instructions on website like, rear view mirrors, lights, horn, tyres in working condition then your form 25 will be signed, after the signature you have to go to room no 17/18 to get the form stamped, then submit at the counter and get the acknowledgement..Forms needed to be filed in this order:a. form 25 filled with chasis no stencil.b.acknowledgement paperc.Aadhaar Photo copyd. Valid Pollution certificatee.original RC book or smart cardf.self address envolope with stampg.Valid insurance photocopy.

If you like to do the job you do why do you it in the first place? If you are sitting at help desk or over a helpline service dont wish to answer patiently why do you even sit? License getting is a cumbersome procedure even though 90 % work in online. For That 10% work it is as usual waiting and mercy of officials concerned. For documents verification, One has to wait for the concerned clerk to come. No timely available of them. For biometrics Q same happens. The security personnel (lady) at the entrance of the office is very rude and uses filthy abusive language to senior citizens who are waiting outside. Since there is no place for them to sit, many people sit on the staircase. This lady used so unfriendly language asking them to get up and make place. Its a perfect example of institutionalized corruption. No number of complaints make any difference. Middle men and touts roam inside office like regular employees. They stand right below the notice board saying Dont encourage touts. Another big scam is that various RTO forms which should have been freely available to the users are sold through a private Xerox shop in the next building. If you want to see the openness with which corruption could be done, please do visit this RTO. Its so pathetic that even formal complaints do not get any replies. RTO is situated on the 2nd floor of BMTC building with paid parking available on top of the building. There is a 6 person lift right in the middle of the bus stand. Typical Govt office full of dusty files. Lines dont move fast enough. None of the services are 100% online yet, making a trip or two to RTO absolutely necessary.No place for the general public to sit & wait their turn either.

Went there for DL renewal. The central government has tried to streamline the process by making the whole application online. The only problems are local rules like you need medical fitness certified from government doctor (primary health center), at the RTO they will not tell the appointments are available only early morning as that is controlled by local rto and they open limited nos (if you try to book a slot in the afternoon it usually is not available ), finally you will be asked for dl to be placed in a zip lock polythene cover and a prefilled envelope (in specific format) with rs 18 stamp. These steps are painful because they will not tell them clearly once, everytime you go they would point out whats missing hence frustrating you in the process. Ofcourse if you go through a broker i am sure its a breeze but i didnt want to do that.

Visited for DL Renewal. After uploading all docs online, you still have to print them all out and go to the RTO. Online payment doesnt work so you have to pay at the RTO. Get you docs checked and signed by the Superintendent first, at counter 11. Go with your original License. Then go to counter 15 and pay the application amount. Theres always a queue. Although it should only take a minute per person, the infamous touts and driving school reps will barge in and do what they want. Dont lose your cool, its useless. Once youve paid, go to counter 13 to submit your application. Oh and make sure you buy a postage envelop with Rs.18 stamps to enclose with your application. Old man sells them downstairs at the bus station. Your DL will be sent home. Hopefully.Counter timings for payment are 10am - 2.30pm on weekdays. 10am to 12.30pm on Saturdays.Update: Received my renewed DL, 40 days after submission of application and photo.

Want to get a first hand experience of corruption? Do visit this place and you will not be disappointed. It is next to impossible to get your work done here without touts. Even if you have given the stated amount to them, there is no guarantee there wont be any delays. I had made an appointment via an agent and even then I had to wait close to 3 hours to meet them, though I arrived at the exact time. Be prepared to take a full days leave from work if you are planning to visit here.

Worst place, full of crowd and no social distancing, BBMP collects Rs. 10/- for parking and the driving space to reach the parking level is full of potholes and small small stones/pebbles. Due to COVID19, RTO timings have been changed (their website says they operate from 10 AM to 5 PM whereas it’s 10 AM to 1 PM on weekdays and 10–12 on Saturdays. Lastly, the process of paying challan fee is shifted online hence, pay the fee, print challan copies and then only visit RTO (this online process is not as smooth as you think and sometimes it process takes more than a day (reasons - problems in creating an account on parivahan, you dont receive OTP for 30–45 mins, failure of bank transaction while making payment etc.). Hence, it is strongly advisable to complete this process before visiting RTO.Posting this information here intentionally so that people dont have to go though this painful process and can avoid multiple visits and save their time and money.

They dont want to help citizens and want everyone to come through agents so that they get a commission for everything.Few things that are not mentioned in Parivhaan website nor put up in RTO to help fellow citizens to avoid multiple trips:1.ARTO Jayanagar informed that change of Name during renewal of DL is not allowed in Karnataka. (pls dont opt for this service or pay for it)2. Form 1-A: Medical fitness certificate from a Registered Govt. Doctor is mandatory even for citizens below 40 years of age.3. Citizens need to carry 2 copies of the printed application form while submitting the documents at the RTO. ( 1 will be returned with an acknowledgement)4. Citizens need to carry a self addressed envelope with postal stamp of atleast Rs.20 affixed.5. Old DL/RC must be carried in a small plastic pouch (zip lock type)6. Cash counter timings are limited (closes by 1pm) people with evening slots must make online payments (after enquiring the correct fees to be paid)

Went to get RC transferring from company to my name. They had implement vahan4 online portal for all transactions and shoddy implementation by NIC. Portal times out before payment and you are supposed to get paper printout after paying online. Defeats the entire objective of online process.. Everyone was just grumbling at the counter and going back. I went ahead met & complained to the senior RTO Mrs Shobha M but she showed helplessness and called some NIC guys who were in office and they just asked me to wait for 2-3 hours for me to retry the transaction online. She gave me contact numbers of NIC implementation owner and of joint traffic commissioner and none of these responded to my call from the RTO premises. Totally wasted day for my efforts. Now I understand why people pay to middle men to get their work done in RTO
