This restaurant is on the 7th floor of the building. It has a unique yet simple and elegant ambience where roof is decorated with temple bells. As soon as you get your table they provide complimentary Rice Papad with couple chutney to munch on while waiting for the food.Khara Kadubu which is rice dumplings and filled with lentil and gram flour but I couldn’t taste any of it because of the dominating taste of a asafoetida.Mangalore Chicken Sukka was not upto the expectation coconut wasn’t grated well there was few big chunk of it was easily seen.I liked Prawn Ghee Roast, prawns were aromatic, springy, juicy and nicely cooked with masala.Anjal Fish Fry was loaded with masala crumps and a strong raw flavour of fish was very prominent may be fish wasn’t marinated well in advance.Khara Boti is a very simple dish in which only salt and turmeric goes along with a little ghee and it was very mild and juicy dish.Mutton Donne Biryani was a usual Jeera rice mutton biryani.Malpuri was very balanced in sweet not too much or less perfect balance but portion was very tiny.Gadbad Ice Cream Sundae is a nice way to end your meal.Overall food was good in taste but whole experience couldn’t justify to cost.

The waiters are very helpful to suggest and to serve.It has both indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a little library.Even though the price is bit expensive but the tastes beats all.

We went there today for Office team lunch. We were 16 people. Nice place. Good place for south Indian food. Mainly coconut oil.We were 8 veg people and 8 non veg people. I was veg. And so I have pics for only veg items.It has a nice Ambience. Inside is cool, but outside is also has its own super view.Service - service was awesome. They explained about the food nicely. We forgot one of our id card. They immediately called us. And gave us back. 5/5Location - prime location. Nice place. If you are sitting outside then try not to visit on a sunny day. Otherwise all good. We ordered so many items, so its difficult to explain one by one everything. 4.5/5Food - I liked the food. Its mainly made by coconut oil, so few of us didnt like. But I think thats their expertise. 4/5I wanted to give overall 4.5 rating but thats not possible it seems. So 4/5

Had the Coorg pandi curry and keema balls with neer dosa and akki roti. The curries were very spicy and not as tasty as expected.

This was one of the best dining experiences Ive had in Bangalore. The decor of the place is not what youd call understated. A bit ornamental, bit baroque, but not vulgarly so. And the food is every bit as yummy as the photos in the menu would lead you to believe.The fish was the most perfectly cooked, with its crispy hot griddle caressed crest and the soft juicy interiors. The spicy marinade still wet, its that elusive fine balance that you crave for, but is so hard to pull off. And so was the palya, everything just perfect. Forgot the name of the chicken dish, but it was yum. Jowar roti is not that easy to find, so I decided to try it despite not being the best of pairings with the above dishes.Washed it all down with some Fratelli sette, and that was an evening well spent.

Visited this restaurant on a Friday night at around 9pm and it was almost full. Luckily got one table and I must say, ambiance is very beautiful at this place. Staff was quick to serve us and we ordered beer testers which had 6 types of beers (100ml each). I personally liked 4 out of 6 and the best one was Golden Ale. Ordered Kane Fish Rava Fry as a starter. I personally did not like it much as I expected a bigger sized fish. They served 12 pieces of Kane fish of the size of your finger and the smell was very strong. They serve complimentary Fried Papad of 3 different varieties and 5 chutneys with it. 5 types of Chutneys were really good. Overall I would rate it as 4 stars out of 5, one star extra for the service and ambiance. Would like to visit again to try their other items which I have heard are really good

Oota has a variety of South Indian dishes in its menu. Its on the 7th floor, so there lift is at your disposal. Walking in to a soothing ambience the semi circle rows off bells and the huge deepams set the mood. Seating is very comfortably placed of two four and more.Staff are cordial, helpful and on the prowl tending to their guests. They give suggestion on selecting a dish. And the food is Served hot. You got to select your menu on the Tab which is very easy to go through and colorful and descriptions too on one touch.Washroom are neatly kept and well maintained.Pandemic scare had put everyone on a tender footing. A Saturday visit in Oct. Was with apprehension. But it was cool with the proper precautions in place. Attention from the staff and the all round sanitization was enough to enjoy your order. Seating arrangements followed social distancing. And the guests too erre put on ease. Indian cuisine at its best.

Should go here for the ambience. The menu looked promising but not the taste. Service quality was appreciable. Full marks to the maintenance and hygiene. Everything tasted bland and may be one off days as the previous experiences were way better to this time.

Nice place that serves costal karnataka cuisine. The ambience, food and service are good and therefore the cost is accordingly charged which is little higher that other resturants. There is valet service available and once you have paid the bill you can give a missed call or click the link shared to get your car near entrance. We ordered mangalore chicken sukka, neer dosa, akki roti, kori curry and sugarcane juice. All were good and we enjoyed dinning here.

Veg food was good it was quite different as already mentioned its a north Karnataka restaurant so all the menu items apart from beverages are from north Karnataka, non - veg was ok but veg was good in the sense it was quite different from your regular everyday restaurants worth a visit atleast once and if you like it its up to you to visit again.** The pics were taken by my colleague not me so cant take credit for that.

Had a great lunch at Oota. The interior look so nice with all the wood work and loved the outside seating area. Elneer Rasa was very cooling and something different. Didnt much care for the Maddur Vada. On the whole a good meal.

Excellent service! loved the ambience! A very pleasant setting and extra courteous staff always available. The menu is based on Karnatakas traditional cuisine. I wouldnt know how how authentic it was, but I must say the food was nice. Or rather Iliked whatI had, which is vegetarian. The neer dosa was a slight surprise though as only dosa and not any of the accompaniments were there. Apart from that keep up the good work guys! A note though. The place seems to be completely reserved even on weekdays so reservation in advance would be nice.Also being part of the windmills team try out their brew!

You could see traditional lamps of all shapes and sizes hung and placed around for a very golden-ish look.We were full with just starters - Boti masala (lamb leg piece) , chicken sukka and chicken ghee roast. Quantity is good for the price. The chicken sukka was delicious. I was licking my fingers :-P !The cocktails names are pretty cool - Invalid Majjige, Moksha, Hogey na kall.. its funny and different at the same time.The staff is very friendly and approachable.One suggestion to management from my side would be - it would be nice if all the staff knew Kannada. Excellent restaurant serving local cuisine of Karnataka, mainly Malnad and coastal. The pandi curry (Coorg style pork curry) was very good, as was the bolenji fry (silver fish). They have a nice breakfast during the weekend.

Oota was great with the food. We had pandi pork Curry and Mangalore sukka chicken. Both fabulously made. The neer dosa was divine, made with special skills.However, the staff kept reminding us if the time they were closing almost telling us to hurry up every 10 mins. that was disappointing.

One of the authentic place for Kannada food, u have different chutneys and fried papad which was mesmerizing. If u love beer this place never lets you down as they have their own microbreweries lot of beer options, I tried IPA and double windmill both are strong beer and taste very good. Also try their Anjal fried fish its good.
