I headed to this cafe in UB city that happens to be one of the most happening places in Bangalore to try their newly launched lazy breakfast club menu and I am impressed!Huge variety of breakfast options along with your choice of smoothies, shakes, hot beverages and what not.You can customize your order as per your preference and also, you can indulge in some sweet sin as this cafe has got amazing dessert and bakery options as well.My top picks:Mushroom and eggs : this is undoubtedly a must try dish, something I would like to visit this place for over n over again.Parisian breakfast: its a spread that includes varieties like danish, croissants and all the other English breakfast options.Choco Parisian:tastes like hot chocolateCountry crepesWafflesOverall great place to catch up with your friends with good food and music.
Presentation is good as its situated on the open balcony area of UB City . However, the food doesnt justify the prices. Its above average , for instance, the pasta here is mind-blowing while burger I had was very well made, well presented. All was great to super but not excellentThe staff is warm, responsive and helpful. There is a not-so-unknown scheme of selling you a bottle of water of their own brand - falling prey to it wont bump up your bill significantly , so go for it.

Review by our Team GhatotkatchaWeekend Breakfasts have to be lazy! Cafe Noir now has come up with a new concept of Lazy Breakfast Club. Tucked in the fourth floor of UB City, the sombre French ambiance is refreshing, with plain black, white and gray interiors. The Lazy Breakfast is curated in a wholesome and versatile manner. It includes the regular french delights, Parisian Breakfast and what not!We started off with a Parisian Breakfast, it includes a hot beverage, Viennese, eggs, bacon, chicken sausage, hash browns, roast tomato and toast along with a fresh fruit juice. We began with a Hazlenut latte where it washed off the laziness with good hints of Hazlenut and perfection. A butter croissant with coffee is a good start. Well, the croissants here top notch, they uphold the name and awesomeness of Cafe Noir. Since I skipped the bacon, I ordered two kinds of eggs. One was scrambled, the other one was the Indian in me, the masala Omlette. Hash browns and baked beans are the regular fare. Chicken sausages are a must try and down this with a fresh watermelon juice.A huge shout for the cinnamon french toast. The toast is so good, the fluffiness of the toast is perfect, I do not have words to describe such awesomeness, one of the best ever had. Cinnamon extract is not so strong and hence other ingredients have their presence. Maple syrup acts as a catalyst to heaven. The Chefs signature is Mushroom and Eggs. This is the most loved dish by everyone. This turned out to be my favourite dish there just not because of I love Mushrooms and Eggs, but the proportion of what all are included.A croissant is cut in the middle, stuffed with button mushrooms which are tossed well with flavourful spices in olive oil. Then Eggs which are half boiled are added on top along with pesto. As Pheobe says, their Pesto is the besto. They also have herbal teas, smoothies to try on the Lazy Breakfast Club.
This place is great! The food and drinks are really good, and the staff is super patient and helpful. I ordered the mushroom pasta and the onion gratinéed soup (which is basically French onion soup), and they were both amazing. The soup is served with a cheesy garlic bread, which makes for the most perfect flavour pairing, and a basic bruschetta. We also ordered the Quiche Lorraine, Croque Monsieur and the Carbonara for the table, and they were really good too. Their iced teas and red wine sangrias are beautiful! The only thing Id change is their choice of music - I kinda dont want to sit in a French café and listen to violin covers of pop songs, ya know? That too on repeat. 😬
Always have loved the fries here. So no surprise we ordered the Basket of Fries for a quick catch up with a friend.Doesnt disappoint ever. Love the mayonnaise. Hot fries were just perfect for the winter weather.Need to give a shout out to the waiter/server today! Was extremely kind with the service. Thank you.4th December 2020
A nice place for breakfast, a cup of good coffee, a snack or a meal. The food and service is good. There are many tables and is a good place for large groups. There is also ample parking space in the building. Cafe Noir is in line with a few other restaurants, all made to look like cafes on a street. A nice, safe place for kids as well, with lots of place for them to run around.
Really nice cafe with authentic French food. The baguette and the coffee were both top notch. We visited this place for a Sunday brunch. It was really breezy and well lit up. I felt really energized after my morning coffee. The staff was courteous and friendly. Overall, a pleasant experience. The best place for French food in Bangalore.
Clean and airy ambience, generous portions and friendly wait staff. Amazing place for a lazy relaxed brunch with friends and family. Food is good, some selection of alcohol is available and there is a great selection of delectable desserts. Not really for kids though.
I liked the ambiance at the cafe. The open air seating is evenly spaced out. The staff is polite and courteous. The food is good though there could be more items on the menu. We tried the crispy Platter which contained 3 pieces each of cheese balls, falafel and spinach fingers. Though everything was crispy it just wasnt tasty enough. Then we tried the green pizza which was good. The drinks were really good.
I love this place. They have made quality tasty french cuisine available in a non fine dining setting. Their menu has grown with years and includes thai curries as well. But what I like most is their sandwich and salad. One dish in particular which I enjoy is Quiche. In my last trip I had veg burger and veg Quiche. Both were delicious. At our table we also ordered veg Lasagna, Le Jardin veg pizza and milkshakes. For dessert we got crème brulee. It was yummy.Only thing which was a challenge was the delay in service. Usually they are prompt, but probably it was delayed because it was Christmas day and crowded.Their prices have increased over years, their menu changed but they are still my favorite when it comes to casual french dining in Bangalore.Must visit!Edit: If your are coming by car and parking in UB city parking, you need to pay 100 Rs upto 4 hours of parking.
Cafe noir is a French style luxury restaurant. They serve typical French breakfast at ~450INR. It includes a coffee, fruit juice, bug-get, French omelette. The beef burger is very tasty here and kids will also enjoy the croissant 🥐 sandwich. Ambience is pleasant, of course you can French apple tart and other kinds of sweets. Parking fee in UB city for 4hrs is INR 100/-.
Good place to have authentic French food. But some options in the menu are not available. Particularly, lot of wines in the menu like Chardonnay are not available. Apart from that, the food taste was really good and so was the ambience. Location is good as well. We sat outside and it was pretty enjoyable. Since they are serving French food, they should give some baguette with it as complimentary.
Nice place ! Great Service! I mainly liked this place for their customer service. Charming and great service attitude by 1 staff made this place more welcoming for us. Great food too
We tried the pizza. It was delicious, and the toppings were drool-worthy.
Absolutely in love with this place! Great food, cosy ambience and a lot of the staff speaks French!
Delicious authentic French cuisine. Does not always have all the items on menu. But serves up good food.
Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered mushroom and eggs.. The croissant and the pesto were the highlights of the dish. The egg white frittata was brilliant though they forgot to add the spinach to it. 😅
Good food and good service!!!
Starting from the really nice alfresco dining to the heavenly coffee and delicate tasting food we absolutely love this place! Their desserts are lovely as well - the vanilla millefeuille is a favourite!!!
Ub city..open air..classy crowd..light meals.n healthy salads...molten choco parisien..the perfect hangout for getting over a hangover
A good place with great food and good value for money.
For a sweet tooth, its perfect! Its got most of the high end desserts. The place fits well in UB citys ambience.
Decent breakfast place at UB city. Coffee is good. Outdoor seating and the place is not noisy.
Wonderful ambience. Nice food. Chicken sizzler is really niceLoved the experience.
This is by far the very worst place Ive ever eaten at in Bangalore. The service is awful, having to wait 15 minutes before anyone even came to take my order for breakfast.Im writing this now after 90 minutes wait and Im still yet to have my crossaint! Its not exactly busy either.I would strongly recommend avoiding this place, there are many much better options nearby.
Good place to chill after checking overpriced stuff at the mall.Good cofee, tiramisu was old, and service needs improvement in attitude...
It is a great place to hangout with friends and also with family. The cuisine served is French and it is tasty. The ambiance is amazing. The staff is friendly.
Amazing food, presentation and vibes of this place. Ordered Chicken Parmesano, Green pizza, Strawberry milkshake and Homemade Sangria. The chicken was absolutely well done and Sangria was just perfect...
All time favourite place for a relaxed chill session.Extensive menu from bites to full blown pasta mains.Great for the sweet of tooth. Big show case stuffed with the best looking and tasting desserts and pastries. The service could do with a little help. Its almost as if the staff are making a concentrated effort to avoid eye contact.
A Good place to enjoy french food, Pizzas. Seems authentic, is worth the hefty price !
Really nice cafe with cosy, chirpy and open environment.
Coffee was great here including the ambience, I did have Irish coffee and its a must try.
Excellent ambience. Ordered grilled salmon, was delicious and made perfectly. Salad was adequate, wish it had a carb on the sude. We ordered garlic bread seperately. Coffee was good too. Fresh, strong , hot.
Good place... Cool cozy and romantic.. Go with ur partner and enjoy the ambience.. Coffee shake is recommended..
Very friendly staff. Love their cold coffees. You can spend quiet sometime having great conversations. The food is good.Once my two year old baby was cranky and we decided to go to care noir to find if they could fill out feeding bottle with some milk. So the staff cleaned the bottle, sterilized it, heated some milk, cooled it to make it luke warm, filled the feeding bottle and gave it us. They didnt accept any money for this specific request. Very nice staff.I havent tried all their recipes to comment. Will do once I try.
This is our most favorite place, for any special occasion! Ive lost count of the number of times weve come here, and will continue to, always. The food, the ambience, the whole experience, is just mesmerizing!
It has become our favourite breakkie destination every Sunday morning. It is very relaxing to sit in the outdoor and enjoy delicious breakfast. We always have the Parisian combo and it is yummm.Their chocolate croissants are yummy.Cappucino is also good.Service can get slow.
Had a lazy morning Saturday breakfast at cafe noir, one of the best I must say. They have amazing French brekky options. I absolutely loved the mushroom and eggs in croissant with basil pesto cream, what a delight. The Parisian and continental spreads come loaded and offer great customisations in eggs, juices and hot beverages. They also serve pain au chocolat, the chocolate croissant, along with danish croissant, such delights. The waffle is crisp yet soft, with multiple syrup options. The crepe, chocolate sauce, tastes as Magical as it is presented. Had cappuccino served with Madeline, some fantastic brews I must say. Real value for money and a great experience overlooking the beautiful UB city ambience.
Been here a couple of times now.. i dont think anything is French other than the name. Its a regular cafe like so many others.Interestingly , noir in french translates to black. A strange name for a cafe.Food is ok. Service is ok. Ambience is good as long as you dont have kids jumping around. I think the prices are high. The sandwich i ordered was 3/5 . fries were dry and ketchup was well .. ketchup ! I wish i had gotten a better condiment or dip.
Food awesome. Service is good, a little improvement will add a flavor to it.
Good dining experience. Amit Das helped in picking the right dishes.
Great service great ambience
Love the ambience and service plus the food is great
Heavy costly. Nice place..
Amazing place to chill with family and friends. Unmatchable coffee.
I visited Cafe Noir to get some desert. I ordered a crème brûle while my friend ordered an éclair. The éclair was delicious, the crème brûlée was creamy and good, I wished it were a bit warmer. Overall it was a nice treat. A little expensive, but good and worth it if youre looking for a nice little French pastry treat. The service seemed good, when it started raining the waiters managed to move us inside despite the rush. The only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is because I want to visit it maybe once or twice more to really get a better feel for the food and service. I felt like one time didnt let me judge and do justice to a review.
Perfect ambience. Amazing food. Quick service. Elite and high end cafe.
Lovely place. Both the times tried 2 different variety of coffee. They were very good. Nice ambiance & super staff.
Perfect!
Exceptional service extended by CafeNoir-UBCitys Manager Mr.Shubhankar and the host for our table Lima. The Service quality & the Attention to guests was better than ever, if I compare it to my past visits to UB City Cafe Noir.@CafeNoirUBcityTeam : Keep up the good work! Products are similar in many places, its the Service more of that differentiates you from other cafes.
The best place for an American breakfast. The place is very calm and food is very good.
The Danish pastries are amazing. Coffee is pricey. But the rest of the menu is very nice.
Bit costly but get the best beef steaks here.
Loved the food as always..😊
I went here for evening coffe with my family. The ambience is good. However, the service is lacklustre. Had to get up and get someone to take order or to get the final bill. The coffe was okay and so was the chicken based snack we ordered. Definitely more room to improve in terms of service.
Ive been to other Cafe Noir outlets 4-5 times before and I really like their food. However, a few days back I went to this particular outlet to have coffee and croissants and was disappointed. The coffee was passable (no punch even in double espresso shot; Starbucks, Blue Tokai are waaay better, but thats not the point), but the chocolate croissant was hard, chewy and tough (not sure whether it was fresh). I actually got it replaced with a normal butter croissant which was slightly better. I actually gave my feedback to the store manager in an extremely polite manner that I didnt like their croissants and they, who claim to be a French patisserie type of place, should not allow their food quality to slide. Was slightly annoyed as the manager, while he listened to my feedback, constantly tried to counter me, saying he hasnt come across a single bad review ever. To which I said maybe thats why they are possibly getting complacent.Anyhow, my simple feedback is this: Take customer feedback in a constructive manner. And do not think you are beyond mistakes. Only then youll be able to maintain your quality.
A nice place to hangout with your gang, nice ambience, a great view of UB Tower, fountain and a bit expensive.
Amazing quality continental food with attention to detail recipe. Cost of 2 - 1500 bucks.

If you love indo french cuisine then its a must visit to cafe noir. We enjoyed creamy tomato soup, pork chops, gratinee, and tandoori fish curry with sesame rice followed by generous portions of desserts and ending with moroccan tea. My ultimate comfort food till date at cafe noir is spaghetti carbonara paired with sangria. Im also a huge fan of their pastries. Coming to the tasting session I tasted many new dishes and liked the herb butter pork chops overall a satisfying meal.
Nice place to spend time n coffee is r.s 170
Great place and a lovely vibe..Great food and amazing hot chocolate 😍😍
Good place for lunch, coffee or dessert in UB City.Multiple choice of Mocktails/drinks. Tested mocktail were good.French cuisine style well executed.Team is friendly and this is always a pleasure to come there
Pleasant ambience and excellent food. Authentic French cuisine.
Environment was great and the service guy Lima was outstanding. I will visit the place again.
The service is Pathetic! Or may be pathetic would be an understatement. Coffee was not even luke warm, the strawberry pasty had rotten strawberries, the staff did not even bother to serve us water even after repeated requests. You could try other places at ub city!
Really good ambience. No words to describe this spectacular place.
Authentic Italian...live singing...family friendly menu and detailed wine menu
Didnt like the flavours of the food they served. Ambiance and staff were good.
Great food and excellent drinks. A must try
