Great lake view. Food is great but the food prep take a while

We were not expecting too much and were positively surprised by the food.Before heading for the airport we wanted to have lunch in a not too expensive place, so we went to Lido mall. At the time we arrived there was just Café Felix open so we decided to have lunch there. We ordered garlic bread and cesar salad first and as main dish shrimps and persian chicken kebab. You could tell that all the dishes were prepared with care and fresh ingredients. Everything was delicious but specially the grilled chicken. Perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection. The meat was tender and juicy in the inside but with a delicious grilled taste in the outside. The icing kn the cake was the absolutely perfect tiramisu we had for dessert. I was not such a creamy mascarpone and perfectly soaked ladyfingers cookies. I would without a doubt recommend this place, absolute value for money.

Thinking about going out in the evening with friends and loved ones and having some delicious food and cocktails ? Then head over to this place. Cafe Felix is a roof top cafe, which is just perfect during sundown. The seating arrangement of this place is extremely comfortable and the view is a bonus. As for the staff, they are polite and courteous. They always give you some nice suggestions while ordering🙂 When it comes to food, they have some really nice options to choose from. I just loved their presentation. The flavors were on point and the desserts were super yummy.For drinks I tried dirty martini and creamy coconut mojito. We tried so many starters and desserts but Cookie dough skillet was my favorite.Given the current situation of COVID-19, they’re following all the safety measures and maintaining everything perfectly well.I would love to visit this place again and again and try everything on the menu.

A decent place for a chill hangout. Some good and some not so good parts. We ordered Garlic bread, pork ribs, lamb shanks and Alfredo sauce pasta with chicken. The Lamb shank with pilaf was amazingly cooked to perfection. Garlic bread and pork ribs were good too. The pasta on the other hand was not flavorful at all. Drinks wise, we ordered 2 LIITs as most of the beers were not available. The Skyfall ice tea tasted like Benadryl syrup, but the classic LIIT was decent. Would surely give it another go for the Lamb shanks.

This peaceful place at the top of 1MG mall is just the perfect place for unwinding. This well lit place offers a nice view of Ulsoor lake and around. The small outdoor seating area is my favourite. Food is also pretty good here. Their fish and chips is a must try..

The food here is good but the service is poor, the team directly turned off the TV without saying anything when we were watching an interesting RCB match just because they had to close, however we were not asked to leave even once.We sat for another 30 mins just to finish our food and drinks after they turned off the TV so definitely they could have left the TV turned on too. Even after asking to turn on the TV they didnt turn it on until we were finishing our food and drinks.

We came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time. Things I liked:1. Great food. We ordered Miso Stir Fry and Bolognese. Both were really well prepared and the taste was on point.2. Nice songs playing in the background that set the mood and are not too loud so you can talk normally.3. The interiors are really nice and natural light coming from outside is perfect for taking pictures (Instagram worthy if you plan to post some pics later).4. The view of Ulsoor lake from your table is super cool!This was my second visit. Last time I visited in the evening. Although I enjoyed both these times, I would prefer coming in the afternoon if I had to choose between lunch and dinner since the place feels really well lit and airy in the day time.

Ambiance is beautifully setup & spread across 2 floors, one being the royal fine dine and the other is party lounge with comfortable Seating.Located at Level 5 of 1 MG Mall, While dining you get beautiful view of MG road. Cuisine served over here is American & Continental. Their menu is very well curated with loads of options.Started with Chicken Broth soup, a perfect start indeed. Aromatic & balanced spices, tasted pretty well.Lamb tacos - Texture & Crispiness of tacos were good filled with tender & juicy lamb concocted with red pepper, onion salsa and sour cream.In coolers, I opted for Guava jalapeno mint lime, which was quite refreshing, A tangy drink because of the jalapenos & lime went pretty well with whole wheat lasagna.Warm chicken & udon noodles - Thick wheat flour noodles(a popular Japanese cuisine ) topped with chicken, bean sprouts & ginger sesame dressing. It was Lactose free & nicely presented not overpowering.Coming to the Dessert - we had Gluten Free Carrot (cheesecake)cake served along with vanilla Ice cream & Cookie Dough Skillet. Dessert surely cant be missed in Felix. Texture & presentation was good both were gluten free.Service is prompt, pricing was not an issue, since all the items were decently priced with the quantity & quality served.Overall a good experience. Will visit again for the Dessert for sure!

The moment you enter the place you feel a certain calm. The place is naturally lit and has a beautiful view of the Ulsoor lake.The food is downright delicious. Their salads are so good and filling that a main course cannot be accommodate in the stomach. The dressings were top notch and very refreshing.The burgers were like a dream come true.. so juicy and crunchy at the same time. Had a hard time finishing it but it was worth the time taken. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to try some European cuisine with Asian influence.

Great food, great taste, superb presentation but bit expensive for the quantity provided. Well decorated with awesome lights. The place is quite huge and its usually very crowded especially in weekends. So your food will take time to reach your table. But none the less great ambience and good place to go with your loved one.

However, the food tasted good. They were quick with the service.You could sit here for however long and they dont disturb you.Values for money? Yes.Clean washrooms - a plus.Would I visit again? Cafe with a breathtaking view, thats Cafe Felix.Located in the heart of the city, Cafe Felix serves amazing food, drinks, and the view is just an add on luxe.The pricing it might be little upscale but its worth it for the service and quality of food.Have come here with my foreigner friends and they like the food, personally I love it too and I had the medium rare minute steak with stir fry mushrooms and fried egg, the meat was bang on medium rare, its like how I prefer my steak.I did tried from them also the All American Burger, Chicken sandwich and the Salad which have salmon in it(forgot the name). No complaints about the food, all are delectable delicious. The desserts were so scrumptious and so good, I guess the name of the dessert is Toffee cake with vanilla ice cream( check the picture just to confirm)Amazing service and cheers to the team.Would love to come back, highly recommend this place.

Great food, ambience, service and views! The staff is amongst the kindest and most courteous. From providing great recommendations to even reminding us if we have Zomato Gold etc. they are the real USP of this place. The dessert needs a special mention too, with their in house bakery. We tried the made to order chocolate cookies (it did take a good 20 minutes so make sure you order it right when you start your meal, itll be ready by the time you get to dessert). Definitely recommend to anyone whose looking for great global cuisine, some sangria and of course lovely views!

Had a late lunch at Cafe Felix, the food was brilliant to say the least. Had gone with the family and we all ordered a bunch of dishes. They were all really good and the entire family enjoyed. I had ordered the salad for myself and it was so fresh, I was like just wow! The interiors are done up really well, spacious... oh and they have an amazing view out the balcony. I think that the balcony doubles up as a smoking section... don’t really remember but there might have been a few tables. But I clearly remember the view being pretty good. The service was ever so slightly in need of a bit of training, but we were with family so didnt mind at all. All in all a really good meal at this place, will definitely make a trip to this joint the next time Im in town.

Cafe Felix has amazing american food. They have surprisingly quick service, which is always a plus :) The staff took out of menu requests from us. They have an amazing view overlooking the lake. Overall a must try and highly recommended.

This was my first visit to Café Felix. It was a decent experience. We went on Christmas eve.The food was nice, slightly overpriced for the quantity. I had a chicken roulade, stuffed with spinach and a side of vegetables, which was part of their Christmas special menu, it was quite delicious There was a live singer too who gave us some great numbers.The only downside was the mocktail drink I ordered - the Creamy Mango.. We expected it to be a thick shake, but it turned out to be somewhat like mango juice with ice cream on top.. Id put this dish in the dessert section!

The ambience is very posh and vibes are fantastic. Food is very good, its little overpriced but totally worth when you are provided with excellent service and exotic food.Goan chorizo pizza - made from famous Goan pork sausages, this pizza is amazing.Meat Ragout pasta - all kinds of meet mixed with sauce that is average in taste.The menu should mention the types of meat used. If beef is used in meat Ragout, it should be clearly stated in the menu. Therefore its better to ask the staffs regarding the dish or the waiter should always inform the guest about the dish which didnt happen in my case.Otherwise food is good and the place is highly recommend!

The place is cosy and the ambience is quite nice. Its one of those sophisticated places where you can sit and talk to the other person for hours. The music in the backdrop is just perfect as per location and it wont hamper your conversation. The waiters are plenty for the small place that it is and the service is nice. Veg food is decent and the quantity is less for the price,is what I felt and gave 4 stars for. For a platter,you can see in the image,its just 4 tiny things and it didnt look like a platter at all.Otherwise a great place to go with good ambience and service.

This place looks nice. A very clean and minimal setup, but the view it has on offer is great as it overlooks the Taj Vivanta, The Park and Conrad Hotels. The music is decent and not at all loud, making it easy to have conversations. The service is exceptional and coming to the food, its OK but the drinks on offer and taste wise its great.Easily one of the place to go too, if you want to talk with friends or if your on a date, this place is definitely recommended.

Cafe Felix sits pretty in the upmarket 1 MG Mall in Bengaluru. The restaurant boasts of a lovely view of the city and especially Ulsoor lake. It’s on the 5th floor of the mall surrounded by glass windows.While the view during the day was quite nice, am guessing that the overall ambience of the place improves in the night.Will definitely make a trip there for a round of drinks in the evening soon to experience that as well. They have a rooftop seats by space as well. While I couldn’t check it out but am sure the view from there will be great!I went there today afternoon for a quick Saturday lunch with my husband.We had a couple of Budweisers on Tap and two starters.The beer was yum.The starters were also quite decent.We called for Butter Garlic Prawns and the Chilli Cheese toast. The letter were absolutely yumm and totally reminded me of the Chilli cheese toast that we used to get at the Xavier’s canteen in Bombay!Our total bill came to about 1,800 ₹ which is very decent.Do go check out this cute cafe if not for the food then definitely the view of the city that the place has to offer! And while you’re there, a little shopping on the side would definitely be recommended! :)

The first cafe where its so open and no beer, the ambience was great and since this cafe was designed by my friend and it was materialized so its so basic and cool , well the dishes were great pepperoni pizza was yum as usual though if the pepperoni was a bit more fresh and melted in mouth would have loved it so much more.Then we ordered chicken with jerk spice which was awesome !! Perfectly cooked tandoor spiced chicken was awesome with potato mash and boiled broccoli !! Though on a bit pricier side , once in a while visit here is perfect .

Cafe felix is one those few brands which never disappoints you.Very recently, cafe felix has launched their new menu which comprises of various gluten free and lactose free options. So here is what I have tasted there👉Grilled vegetable and pickled beetroot :A healthy salad which is also yummy too. Greens and pickled beetroot are dressed with honey mustard and toasted sunflower seeds.👉Warm chicken and udon noodles :( Lactose free)The udon noodles are soft and nicely absorbed the tangy flavour of veggies and chicken broth. This is a must try.👉Mushroom tacos :Well cooked delicious mushrooms are stuffed in a crispy taco which is packed with full of flavours. If you are a Mushroom lover then you would be in love with this dish.👉Lamb taco :The lamb meat is cooked to perfection and stuffed in a crispy taco. The meat literally melt with a delicious flavour in the mouth.👉Coriander pesto cottage cheese :Its a thin crusted pizza loaded adequately with Coriander, cheese, jalapeños and pesto sauce. This is true delicacy which has a perfect equilibrium of flavours.👉Veg lasagne :Some how this dish failed to impress me with its appearance and taste. The lasagna sheets arent perfectly visible and looked just OK. It doesnt have an authentic taste of lasagna and tasted pretty average.👉Toasted almond and organic honey cake :This is truly a bliss. Before this dessert get on the plate they soak the prepared cake is natural honey for 24hrs and serve it with toasted almonds layered on its top. This one tasted okayish. I personally Didnt like it much. But yes the whole wheat thingy takes this to whole new level.Gluten Free Carrot cake ❤️These days people are moving towards an healthy option and this one does complete justice to the healthy yet Yummilicious category. Served with vanilla Icecream.This goey luscious cookie dough is just out of the world 😍 Leaves you Drool forever 😭Toasted Almonds & organic honey cakeServed with vanilla ice cream. I bet this wont even stay on the table for more than 30s. Oh yeah thats how quick we eat it. Now you know how extraordinary this was❤️🙈The service was prompt and the staff were friendly and efficient. They had a good knowledge of what they serve and help you choose.

This is one of the Cafes that has come up in the posh 1 MG Mall. The place previously had Blimey café & pub in the past. It is now a café that focuses on serving American & Continental items. I was recently there to try out some of the Burgers that have made the news during the recently concluded Burger Fest.Ambiance – It is on the largest Cafés one would see in Bangalore. This means that there are plenty of seats and there would be hardly any waiting. They have a selection of chairs and sofas where guests can sit depending on their comfort. The entire café has glass covering from 2 side which means that customer can see adjoining areas like MG Road, Ulsoor Lake which gives a great view. I personally liked the view at this place. They have a nice bar counter and also a bakers counter where you can pick up pastries.FoodThe most important reason for visiting a place like this would be to get away from crowd and spend time in piece. But the food needs to be good while a customer decides to stay for long.I have tried quite a few items at this place and the food is just top notch :-)

It has been one year since cafe felix opened its door to guests in Bangalore .Chef Ritwik Sarkar and his team has been creating wonders in their kitchen to enthral the customers with their culinary delights. I have been a regular here and recently I came to try their one year commemorative menu inspired by the king of fruits , mango.Loved it in entirely.Do try their salads , burgers and mainsOhh yes did I tell the view from their terrace is mesmerising

This is one of the best rooftop cafe Ive been. The serinity and peace are beyond comparison. It is expensive. And they dont sell ciggrattes. But the eating area below is even more welcoming. They also have a separate section which is meant for large gathering of at lest 20 people. It was amazing to be there. Well definitely be back.

Every single bite and every single sip was arrestingly delicious!! Premium quality meats, fresh veggies and perfect combination of flavours, and the best most mouth watering desserts and drinks. We went as a family and this is worth every penny. The chefs sure know what theyre doing in there! Tip: weeknights are better than weekends because its much less crowded.

Lovely place, great ambience, wonderful service, super food!Went there with my folks today. Didnt have to wait long for a seat. The place is quite large and spacious, well-lit and the ambience is lovely.Naveen, the manager, was very polite and attentive. He gave us some great suggestions for starters, main course and desserts - were glad we took those recommendations, because the food was delicious!! The Avocado Toast, Butter Garlic Prawns and Gunpowder Popcorn Chicken were awesome appetizers. Naveen recommended Pasta, Tenderloin Medallions and Pan Roasted Fish for the main course, and they were just perfect. Despite being full, we took one final recommendation and ordered dessert - White Chocolate Ice-cream, Chocolate Ganache Cake and Cinnamon Ice-cream. Glad we did! 😋 Chef Ritwik also came by to our table to say hello - such a nice, warm guy.It was a great experience for us, a wonderful Mothers Day lunch. Cant wait to go back. Very soon! Highly recommended!

I have there only once to have cheesecake because I read somewhere that they serve some of the best cheesecakes.However they only have only one variety of cheesecake of which picture I have attached here. Though it looks quite delicious, the actual taste is not even close. Its quite bad!Considering the hefty price they are charging, you would expect to eat something nice but it is not so.I would have given one but the ambience deserves at least one extra star.

If you havent tried the pan fried fish in Tomato sauce and their spaghetti with prawns, you are missing things in life.Just get up, eat n come back to thank me. Definitely worth the money. The service is excellent too. The only change if they can make is having more two/single seaters. Most of the seatings are meant for party of 12!But if you dont care for all that jazz, just go n indulge in some high quality, well made food.

This is indeed one of the nicer cafes in this area. In fact is youre visiting 1MG mall and looking to just chill and have good continental food with some great views then head to Cafe Felix. The place is so well lit and happy. The seating is also nice and spacious. They also organiser birthday parties here where they cordon off one corner space to give it a more private feel. The staff is really good here. I quite like the food and drinks.

The ambience is really nice. The passion fruit creme brulee is a must have. The staff are friendly and courteous. The rooftop is well lit. The options of food are good. Price for it is a bit expensive but worth the money spent.

Food here is pretty unique as it’s is fusion of India and western and Italian food. But it’s pretty expensive and consider the 2nd most expensive restaurant beside the Chinese Restaurant in this mall. But the price is definitely affordable for tourist and it tasted great too. They serve beef, beef, mutton and vegetarian dishes here too

Reunited with my favourite must try this Avocado Chocolate Smoothie

Visited recently in sep 2020 during ongoing pandemic. Perfect place for a weekend brunch or just for a hangout with friends on a weekend. Food was amazing, ambience is pretty silent due to less crowd. All the precautions are followed by the staff.

Cafe Felix has been around for a few years with a prime location at Trinity junction and a fabulous view of the area and the Ulsoor lake. Theyve reopened and rebooted post the lockdown and their new Chef is supposed to have worked wonders!I was invited to a leisurely afternoon to try some of their new menu and cocktails. Looking at the menu, it had all the Café classics listed - be it Burgers, Pizzas, Pastas, Sandwiches along with a good Soup and Salad selection. Along with these are an interesting set of bar bites and appetizers, perfect along with that chilled beer or classy cocktail (Budweiser on tap and a happy hour offer till 9.30 pm all week along 😎🍻🥂). I found the Entrees fascinating - with classics like Paella & Risotto, sharing menu space with Kandahari Kofta + Uzbek Naan and Kundapur Chicken with Kori Roti...First impressions of the venue - massive open spaces, plenty of social distancing, and a drop dead gorgeous view!Here are some of my picks from our food today:Starters: Truffled Mushrooms & Melt Brie - the mushrooms + truffle oil had the Umami bursting out, and nested in the bread with lots of brie, this can be more than a starter! Malai Hara Gobi - this was a milder version of the Tandoori Broccoli and was my quota of greens done for the meal Sundried Tomato Chicken Tikka - deliciousness overload! Pork Ribs - just perfect - loved the quality of the meat and the sauce was spot on. Juicy, tender pork ribs.Entrée/ Pizzas: The highlight was the Kandahari Kofta with Uzbek Naan - the kofta curry had a lusciously creamy cashew gravy studded with delicate raw banana koftas with a center of mildly sweet nuts & raisins; flashback to the delicious malai kofta curry from decades ago - served with a thick Uzbek Naan. The pizza was a classic thin crust and the Pepperoni and Shrimp one had us wishing for more! The Lamb Shanks came with a superb dry fruits pilaf.Desserts: No matter how much you eat, theres always room for desserts! We loved the Berry Cheese Cake and the Felix brownie was delicious.Summary: Great new menu, same fabulous location, affordable drinks, head there for a business meeting during the day, or to unwind after work - youre a winner either way!

Good food, the grilled fish in tomato gravy was yum.

Located in 1MG. Lovely ambience and courteous staff. The food was amazing but a bit expensive. But their chocolate ganache cake is to die for and worth the price! Definitely visiting again.

Service is very slow seems they are under staffed it took so long when it finally came had to get it packed
