Wegotguru is a very good place to learn music. A very professionally managed school with some really accomplished teachers. They have a wide variety of instruments with dedicated teachers.Have seen people of all ages learning music there both vocal and instrumental and have been impressed with the way the classes are scheduled with zero disturbance whatsoever.They try to give makeup classes if the reasons for missing the class are genuine.All queries are answered with a lot of patience and professional attitude which gives one confidence in the competency of the people managing the schoolI would say we had a very satisfying experience with the centre .

WeGotGuru is an excellent institute for learning music regardless of which instrument you prefer or if you even know which instrument youd like to try out!I joined several years ago for Guitar and later also learnt Piano here, and the classes for both were very enjoyable and very informative. The institute held Trinity exams before Covid started, and the classes have a very good balance between learning things that interest you about the instrument and preparing for the exam as a means to ensure all-around knowledge of instrumentality and musicianship.Personally, I loved my classes because I was free to learn about making my own music whilst also learning about other composers through playing their pieces. My piano teacher, Mr. Rohit, also allowed me freedom to choose which pieces I wanted to learn to play so that I could learn to find my own motivation to practice, but also recommended several pieces that I tried out as a way to diversify my knowledge of compositional techniques because he knew I wanted to be a composer.This shows in many ways the very communicative and open relationship between the teachers at the institute and the students that isnt found in many other music classes. It avoids the sort of pitfall where children may end up taking music classes like they would science classes in school, with no interest for it outside of mindless practice in the class. Instead, almost all students whom I saw study at WeGotGuru were actually pretty interested in learning about music and pursuing their instrument no more than a few weeks after starting their classes.Furthermore, the institute itself is very open to students who may want to try out new things. Before Covid started, there were several times a year where get-togethers where held for students to come play something theyve learnt for parents, as well as recording sessions that are continuing in a professional capacity even now. I got several opportunities to present my own compositions during these events, which Im thankful for, since they forced me to pay more attention to my own compositions as I also had to play them in front of a live audience!I also found it very nice of Prathibha maam to let me come in to practice Piano whenever I needed to, as I found practising at home was very constrained for me as I only have a small keyboard.Overall, I highly recommend this institute for learning anything and everything about Music!

If you like to be certified (which is important for us) the school is an exam centre for Trinity College of London. The class size is small with just 4 students, unlike most other schools. Also there is a certain homely and serene feel when we go there. We also have a few friends who come to WeGotGuru and I know that all of them are extremely happy. Prathibha goes out of her way to help; be it makeup classes or anything else. The Whatsapp groups for individual teachers make it easy for being in touch. Most teachers contribute extra time or classes especially near exam time. WeGotGuru is strict with collection of fees and that kind of support for teachers is why all their teachers have been with them for years! My son and daughter have been learning the guitar and violin for many years at wegotguru now. I am extremely happy with the classes and the teachers. Both children have developed deep interest in music and the instruments. The atmosphere at we got guru is very conducive for learning the arts too. Pratibha and Bala have their hearts in it and that really shows !!

My son attended for close to 1.5 years and his teacher was superb. The arrangement is that Bala and pratibha provide space and infrastructure for teachers to come and teach. The teacher then for his receives fee services from them. Major negatives are :1. If you have feedback for teacher or pratibha /Bala - they toss between each other and your concerns are not sorted.2. Crowded. You will see voilins and drums separated by thin wall.3. They had a annual concert which also stopped - no chance to perform for kids4. Difficult to park.5. we had great trouble getting make up classes. My sense is the story is same with others.6. Pratibha is a difficult and unreasonable person to deal with.7. Also they insist on cash payment... almost to the fervour that I feel they evade tax. Something is not right. Not believing in paytm and bank transfer is unethical in todays date.I highly doubt this institution is based on love and duty of music based on my experience. The only intervention I see from management is to collect fees and any sort of feedback is unwelcome.Taaqacademy which we choose after is far more professional. They also give the child plenty of opportunities to perform which is great in the music journey. Definitely try that before settling for a second grade experience at We got guru - which is all they have.
