When I was looking for a school for my son, I was not just interested in how good a school is at academics (afterall, he must study his whole life) – but also that the school should lay strong foundation – both as an individual and as a student. And I can confidently say that Mont Ivy provided just that.Right from the day my son started going to Mont Ivy, I could see his interests in varied things, being able to work/play together with other kids, doing his own chores at home, being responsible (yes at that age!).His interest in Chess started at Mont Ivy and he continues to do well in chess spending hours together per week on his favorite game. Guitar classes, early reading sessions etc. were very well-planned activities.He has a beautiful handwriting (he got an award for best cursive handwriting in his new school) and the credit goes to the Mont Ivy team who started from the basics of ‘how to hold a pencil’ and then providing the right guidance. He is good at math and also enjoys reading.Children are given meticulous practice for grade 1 admission interviews. Thanks to many mock interviews conducted and regular feedbacks and assessments. When we started to search for preschool for our son, it was going to be his second school because we had to relocate within Bangalore. I didnt knew exactly what I wanted, but I knew what kind of school will NOT suit my child. And after visiting a few schools in and around our new home, we came across Mont Ivy. Their reviews and website piqued my curiosity and after visiting their facility and having detailed discussion with Aparna about their pedagogy we were sure that this is something we were looking for our kid. The school facility is very warm and open, spacious and well-lit. It is very well maintained and kid-friendly.Mont Ivy is a very progressive and open-ended growing place for kids. Montessori method is the most natural or non-taxing way of developing childs awareness and curiosity. Aparna and other aunties know what they are doing and are very confident, firm yet gentle when handling kids.The methodologies followed at Mont Ivy are very effective and forms solid foundation for kids. They run some very open-ended programs for kids like guidance from an author to write stories, kitchen gardening, Young Author program. They even have dramatics, guitar, chess classes going on in their school (pre-pandemic days). Reading programs and book library and show-and-tell activity makes kids much ready not only for interviews at grade schools, but give them courage to handle spotlight confidently.The best part is this journey is very individualistic and matches your kids pace and aims to bring out best in him/her. We as parents are very much satisfied to have enrolled our son in Mont Ivy and they did a fabulous job in grooming his foundation, curiosity and reading skills. Well, its quite hard to measure the value good education and good school can bring to every child, primarily because of following 2 reasons -1. Its an age of instant gratification where people are chasing immediate result. People seem to forget that any meaningful and lifelong value/skill follows an organic way to coming into existence, be it scholastic/cognitive values like verbal skills, numerical skills etc. or co scholastic/behavioral skills like empathy, manners etc.2. Our daughter, Prisha, attended 2 years of preschool at MontIvy. And without any hesitation I can say that these 2 years are going to have very positive and lasting impact on our daughter’s life. The only reason for only 2 years, was our relocation. We wish our daughter gets this kind of environment throughout her academic life.I still remember, when Prisha turned 2.5, we started searching for schools for her. We had searched all the preschools in neighborhood, read almost all reviews about each of them, shortlisted some, and then personally visited at least 10 of them. Some of our neighbors who had their similar aged kids in other schools, had later switched to MontIvy after observing the confidence and progress in our daughter in just few months. As a diligent mom, I knew exactly what I was looking for when I was scouting for a preschool for my daughter. I checked out a lot of schools in Whitefield but the minute I met Aparna and Paras and had a tour of the school, I made my choice. Mont Ivy Preschool doesnt just provide wonderful environment but also a great education.Teachers take the time to get to know their students as whole individuals. The best part is the child is always given a one on one learning experience where the teacher with the child, lets the child independently explore different outcomes for a particular task. They nurture the child’s “thinking out of the box” quality, helping the child to have a creative imagination. They give emphasis in the areas where the child needs to develop and perform best to their ability. They make sure the school is always maintained clean, they also incorporate it to the children in the form of activities.My child has completed 2 years, there was not a day where she didn’t want to go to school. My daughter had a significant improvement in her vocabulary from the time she joined to now. She developed her writing skills as well with the help of Ms Aparna and Ms Rashmi.The only reason we left the school is due to our relocation plans. She misses everyone at school. I highly recommend this school for those kids who are going first time to a school. It was a wonderful experience for my child. I had my son study in Mont Ivy for a year recently and I am extremely happy with the school. He attended the school when he was 3.5 years old till he was 4.5. His development on multiple fronts was extremely good in that time frame. More than that, the way the founders went about the process was amazing. I was more than welcome to discuss any issue about my son with the teachers and I always went back with practical solutions that allowed me to help my kid.To give a background, my son attended a school in Singapore prior to his experience in Mont Ivy and post his leaving the school, he is currently studying in the USA. I am able to compare and contrast his development across multiple schools. I would recommend the school to any parent who is considering a wholesome education for their kid.

My son went to Mont Ivy Preschools for 2.5 years and were very happy with what and how he learned.Firstly, Montessori method itself is very kids friendly as it allows them to explore themselves by engaging in various activities of their choice, at their own pace. There is no peer or time pressure as each kid works on his/her own activity instead of a teacher instructing 30+ kids do the same thing – whether one likes it or not.Secondly, about the school itself, we’re little cautious initially as school was relatively new. After few discussions with Aparna and Paras, it was obvious that they understand a lot about education, kids, their psychology and that of parents. That was the most important factor in getting our confidence in a new school. Despite being confident about their methods, they were open to discussions and trying few different things.Other good things about Mont Ivy were - their focus on safety and hygiene, including a comfortable and safe transport; flexible holiday schedule, allowing us to plan our holidays throughout the year without worrying about missing any fixed syllabus; other activities like cooking, music, dance, exercise, public speaking, reading books, etc.Overall, we’ve seen good development of our son in 2.5 years. He always liked going to school and his teachers. Most importantly, he has become curious and inquisitive about things, is able to work independently and shows lot of maturity for his age. We enrolled our son into Mont Ivy at the age of 18 months. Since then for the next 3 years It has been one of the best experience at Mont Ivy for us. The school inculcates a very good sense of creativity, discipline and liking for the subjects in the child. The practical montessory activities help in develop the thinking and analyzing ability of the child. There are regular parent teacher meets which lead to periodic assessment of the child’s progress. The school is excellent with respect to safety features, hygiene and its teaching environment.Apart from the regular curriculum the school also educates in terms of other activities such as Drama, music classes, reading books, kids gym - which my son enjoyed thoroughly. Also regular educational trips give the kids the actual real world experience.The teachers and staff are very good and extremely cooperative. My daughter completed 2 years of schooling at Mont Ivy. We have searched for schools for at least 4 months and visited around 10 popular pre-schools in Whitefield but after seeing this school we felt this is the best.. we were so right with our decision,1. Transportation - just amazing. GPS tracker, helper in each vehicle, AC cars as transport vehicles, a slot that works for you and a door pickup. One can’t ask for more. Drivers Manoj and Vinod are also very caring.2. Learning - Montessori based learning, customised learning based on child’s needs, school pushes the bar on creative thinking, exposure to story telling, chess, guitar etc. at times my daughter surprised us with her vocabulary..3. School environment - lots of freedom for child to operate, safe interiors, hygienic environment, sand pit area, amazing teachers, helpers and other staff. Sahasra loves her teachers - Priya, Lakshmi, Veena and helpers - Kavitha.4. School administration - always approachable.. Paras and Aparna are more like friends than administrators.. they have always helped in guiding us with the right developemental plan for Sahasra..We never had to worry about Sahasra while she was attending this school. We really wished the school had higher grades so she could continue.

Our son had attended another Montessori school prior to our move here and we hoped to have a good transition. When we arrived at the school for the tour, the atmosphere was so calm and there was no sign of chaos. We instinctively knew this was the school we wanted our child to attend. This school has exceeded our expectations on all counts. The classrooms are filled with warm and supportive community of teachers and students. The learning is not focused on drills and memorisation but creating opportunities for children to become independent thinkers! The school has top notch security features, and, though small, a lovely outside play area.My son attended for two years; we only left the school due to relocation from Blore to Colombo. He was sad to leave his teachers and friends, which speaks to the success of the school in creating a fun learning environment. Paras and Aparna are devoted to the cause of creating a Montessori school with very high standards, and it has been evident in the way the school is designed, the layout of the class rooms, the schedules for the little ones, their deep involvement with the students and above all, a sense of trust and professionalism. My daughter was very happy going to school. Even during times when she was sick she insists she want to go to her school.
