This is horrible company with pathetic policies. This is least customer friendly as all the work for raising claim requests etc. has to be done by customer only (Auto service centre cant do this) which ultimately adds up to customer work load. They look at minutest thing to reject claim with every possible reason. This was the first time I purchased the car insurance policy from Acko in my last 11 years of experience and I would rate it the worst insurance company. Absolutely waste of time and efforts. Please dont buy any insurance policy from this company.

Acko insurance are doing a good job of taking care of their customers. I recently travelled in rapido and unfortunately met with an accident. Since By default the ride is covered under acko insurance. I had applied for insurance. They had asked me for the documents scanned copy and I had applied it through their website. The processing alone took a bit of time. To mention Especially Mr dipendra sir had helped me throughout the process and ensured that I got the insured amout for the hospital expense back. He even called me and ensured that I received the amount in my bank account.Thanks to acko and dipendra sir for the help.

Very well coordinated process and very quick. Other insurance companies in market should learn from ACKO. If for buying a insurance policy then make so much of fuss then claim definitely will be nightmare. I had contacted first new india insurance, Tata aig, IFFCO tokio, ICICI lombard all of them does not have quick process and no info regarding the inspection process, payment process available. And they sit in office and ask people to download app and upload car picture and then make this round and round .

I already made two claims this year, want to say their team is very fast, quick and responsive!Supervisor will come, click photos of your car and claim will be settled in next 2 to 3 days.Last but not the least, Kudos to Chandrashekar for smoothly handling my claim with positive follow ups until it is settled.

This was my previous review:Very bad experience for me. Took the flight insurance twice. That flight got rescheduled thrice and finally got cancelled. Claimed regarding it. No response so far. Expected atleast single response.After this review I had a very good experience with swift response. They credited the money within 2 days too. This is very recommended insurance since it involves less paper work and customer care is very sensible and quick.

No proper response. Acko team is not able to respond for simple queries. I want know the status of my failed UPI transaction for more than 20 days. Bank says, ACKO received amount. I dont think they can handle insurance claim process.

One of the waste insurance agency I have ever seen, all those 3 days service done are totally fake and I would suggest everyone not to people that. It is being more than 2 months since I have left my car in their service center and still not received my car and they have not even touch one part yet in my car and always comes up with an lame excuses. I left my car and claimed my policy on may 6th and in have not yet received my car , this should be seriously warned , even after several complains I havent received any proper responses from the claim handler. Please dont choose acko save your money and time from escaping from this worst agency

Giving two stars because there was no delay in assisting and approving the claim even pick up was good but delivery was promised 3-5days but it took almost 8 days and yet to be delivered. Just bumper and fender work but telling reasons parts are not available for swift which is funny.daily Im hearing we will deliver today evening but when I call it would be tomorrow morning for last 1 week.i doubt on the garrage connections acko has.please improve it to maintain a happy customer.Update- after delivery the fog lamp wasnt clamped properly which resulted in burning bumper due to lamp heat.no proper assistance from acko insurance and garage.took it to service station myself.very poor customer service

The address entry for inspection is totally wrong. The auto filled address is NOT always proper and correct. I could not entered (autofilled) my address correctly. The address should be in manual typing mode. I wasted my 1 hour for simply putting address online. The worst experience for simple thing.

I had tired to insure my three year old car with acko. Because of some glitch in their software they been showing old third party insurance even though my previous insurance was comprehensive with 25 percent NCB. Even their executive didnt know what the problem was and failed to rectify it blaming their software. overall very bad experience

The customer support and the claim process is not organized. They cheat the customer by mentioning one amount in the begining and later charge you more for which it makes no sense to have a marketing strategy of paying less premium. Ultimately you are paying more than any other insurance company. The customer support is horrible, never responsive. I have not seen my car since months. Cause they claim settlement is never done on time and they cheat every customer who has a car claim. Be aware. Dont go for Acko, rather go for any other insurance company. Unable to give half star rating.

Worse experience so far by acko employee. My bike insurance is handled by such a unprofessional staff at acko, who is taking more than 2 weeks without any reason just for approval. As well, staff is highly unprofessional in phone calls.

I am writing this review to highlight the unprofessional handling of insurance support after accident of my car by Acko General Insurance Limited. I had an accident wherein left hand side door and and front bumper was damaged. I explained details to Acko call centre folks who sent someone to inspect the damage. Based on inspection, they offered a paltry sum of 8k as insurance cover amount or repair in their garage. I am sure we all would understand 8K would not suffice for even one of the repair jobs- that too a Volkswagen car. Therefore, I was forced to adopt repair by Acko option. They took my car four days back stating that they would return it in three days. Today when I enquired they said they will check and get back on the status of repairs . But to my horror and utter surprise, they informed me that they have considered only left hand side within the scope of work. For the delay, they said they will give Rs 500/- Ola Vouchers. May I please ask Acko officials to please explain the following:-1. Why didnt you clarify with me details of accident if you had any doubt/clarification. I as a customer am taking ownership of my statements.2. Why didnt you inform me that you are going to take more than 3 days. Can I travel from Bangalore to Chennai in Rs 500/- Ola Voucher.3. Is the cost of dent repair for a Volkswagon Vento only Rs 8000/-. By fixing this low amount are you not indirectly forcing me to accept repairs at your non authentic garages?4. Is this not tantamount to cheating and harassment of a customer?I just want to conclude and accept my mistake of going to Acko for my car insurance.

Non responsiveUnprofessional behaviour treated like Acko employees are the customer of their customer.Phone disconnected.No timeframe in claim processing and payment.Damaged parts were not counted and said these are hitted and folded due to service by Mr. Yogesh Bansal, Mr. Sidharth BM as well as Mr. Mohit Bhist.Repairing cost was given half of what local workshop charge.

Acko find out small technical wordings to reject your claim. Have 2 times experience once on overseas travel policy & second on domestic flight cancellation claim. DO not recommend at all to go ahead with ACKO because of their attitude to cheat a consumer on fine prints.
