I conducted a workshop at Cuckoo Hostel & I must say it was such a delightful experience. The space is really cozy and comfortable, with a lot of greenry around. The team is super cute and helped me all through the process with all the arrangements & they really know their stuff well.Would 10 on 10 recommend it to anyone looking forward to host a small comfy get together :D

An amazing space for creators and explorers. The management is superb and offer out of the world Food.Good option to meet new people, offer and attend gigs. The layout of the space is very interesting. There are three main dorm areas on ground floor and first floor with access to the terrace. The common area is big enough to practice dance, host gigs or a small get together. The space is pet friendly and situated amidst the most vibrant area of bangalore. A must visit for anyone visiting bangalore.

Very well - located for those visiting Koramangala, close to the party places/ eating joints nestled in one of the lanes..... lot of smoking/smokers, also smell of weed, loud music is played, room(s) very different from pics, pics are a lie...it is located in a bungalow area (6th block) in Koramangala 6th block where a small bungalow has been converted into a hostel...low priced

I never stay in the city is when I am travelling. This was the first time I opted to stay in a hostel when I was travelling to Bangalore for the first time. I was very much sceptical about this but after spending just one night at this amazing place I did realise it was not a bad decision. This is one of the most happening hostels in the heart of Banglore city. I met really amazing folks and be friend with amazing people. We are planning to come to Bangalore and cannot find a place to stay this is one fine place I would suggest to anyone and just after spending some time you would be easily be able to figure out what all you can do while in Bangalore.

If you have budget constraints , but you want to in middle of the city then you can easily opt this one. Rather than going to the hotels in Majestic, Kalsipalya, Yeswantpur or etc.rather than book online it will be better to call them directly and book the room. By negotiation you can get better price.

This is a ok ok place, only benefit its location. Non smokers will not like it, coz every one is smoking here and smoke smell is everywhere.

I loved this place, seriously! The vibe you feel here is one of the best ever had in a hostel, we celebrated the Diwali all together and had a wonderful time cooking a proper Italian dinner with the staff and the other guests!The WiFi works great, the common areas are spacious, the bed really comfortable and it is one of the few hostels where I could finally enjoy a hot shower. The breakfast was also really good, its a 10 easily achieved!Great location, things like the Eat Street, a big mall, decathlon and McDonalds as well as many restaurants are at a nearby walkable distance. Anything we needed was just right there.We have a new family in Bangalore and we will sure come back soon!

One of the beat hostel experiences you can have. The place is located close to many cafe, a Bus stand, yet secluded enough not be get disturbed by ongoing traffic. The staff is super friendly, especially Manas (Magic Manas) you can ask him for any help and hell mostly oblige with a smile. The rooms are clean and not too crowded, just spacious enough. Most people staying there are friendly & nice.Overall a great stay.

Cuckoo Hostel is a fantastic space for backpackers and even for visitors to Bangalore who are looking for fun activities and events. Its located very centrally with all amenities nearby. There are always really interesting people around, and one can easily find someone to talk to or even jam with. The hostel is run by enthusiastic staff and volunteers, led by the multi-talented Rajat Kukreja who is a musician, social entrepreneur, and rapper among other things. Do yourself a favour and check it out sometime! :)

Pretty average hostel. The drawing hall seems to be okay and a fully equipped kitchen is present. The washrooms arent clean enough. Bunk beds are available on daily and monthly basis. Food is also available on order.The staff is helpful. Overall one of those places to stay for an overnight or two and not more than that.

Went here for a photoshoot as they rent out their common rooms for shoots. Found it very quirky and there were a lot of books to go through. Nice people to chill with and so was the owner

Cuckoo hostel reminded me of backpacking movies as the first two words that hit me there were- connectedness and network community. The price for a bed in a dorm is 500 per night. The graffiti and the nooks and corners of the community are pretty and welcoming. The bunch of dogs who hang out around the hostel only make the place better.

I didnt live in the place. I just visited the place and fell in love with the art and the commune vibe of the hostel. Definitely has hippie vibes and the rates of bed per night seemed reasonable, which varied from 500 to 700 rupees a day. They also have in-house dinner provision. It is a lovely place and very artistic, ideal for creative souls who want to have a relaxing trip in the hectic Bangalore city.

Extremely dirty and unhygienic. People are sweet but its just very filthy. The pictures online are a lie. Stayed in much better hostels which are cheaper than what these guys are charging. That money is not worth it for this hostel. Would be never recommend it to anyone. Stayed there one night.

The place looks beautiful!I havent stayed here but have visited it several times.They hold out-of-the-box events and execute them very well.Rajat; the owner/director is an amazing, amazing person. He makes this place feel like home.Good interiors, beautiful murals, cute signs all over the place and spacious rooms. What else do you need in a community centre/hostel?YES. It acts as both. And from what I am aware; the place isnt that pricey.You might just go cuckoo.

Calls are diverted and no one is answering . Probably closed down.Managed to stay here after booking on an app. Was the worst hostel I have ever seen . The place looks like a good in the pictures but in reality its totally opposite . The beds had bugs , the owner (Rajat) and his nepali girlfriend who rajat picked up , which he openly tells everyone . And last but not least is the dogs , stray mongrels which dont let you in or out of the hostel . Also forget to mention that the pictures of the rooms in the loft are true pictures but bloody hell there is no air circulation . No ac and i didnt even see a fan there . If you like mongrels and an over possesive boyfriend/landlord and his bohemian nepali keep then this is the place for you and the same goes for construct start-up hostel down the road minus the dogs and the bed bugs but is full of scammers and lingstayers.Good luck travellers

Very Quirky and fun loving space where you can share talents and stay too if looking for a quick visit to Bangalore...I attended a session once where it was an open platform to share whatever talent you have. It was very enjoyable.

You should be familiar with the concept of travellers stay. Where travellers come, stay over night, sing, dance etc. Its a good stay though. Clean and tidy all the way through.

The hostel is cramped, dirty n the vibe is not very warm n friendly. Though the owner n Janak the caretaker may be nice to u if they want to be, mostly its a weird environment. The wall posters enunciating the hostel rules are more rude than effective n are everywhere.

This place is run by this amazing fella. Went to attend an experimental dark (literally in the dark) comedy. Apparently they do a lot of such events. Will surely be attending the next one.
