Hostel is very expensive compared to the PGs nearby(115000₹). But they are providing laundry, daily cleaning, security, water, food etc. The mess is very hygienic compared to the hotels and restaurants near the college. But the food is not appropriate especially for North Indians. They always have complaint about the mess. Sunday night, mess is not available. After 9:30 pm we have to get inside the hostel. They will take attendence after this time. Even they are cleaning everyday, there is a big problem of bedbugs. Many will get skin problems, irritations etc. Every floor have separate securities. They have a general key of all rooms. They will help in case, we forgot our key inside the room. At the same time, a lot of things from rooms are being stolen. The hostel is mostly not suitable for North Indians and those who like freedom. ...after some weeks, we will feel like, we are staying in a JAIL...!..

I felt it is little costlier compared to the pgs surrounding it. And the accommodation was very nice.but Each one will face problem of monkeys which may enter to the room any time.even bedbugs also. Maintenance is good.

Hostel is good. Having mess and laundry facilities inside hostel itself. Not so far from the college. Took 10 minutes to reach. Nice environment.

Its like a 4 star hotel with all the facilities required for a studentFrom- laundry, food,. housekeeping, cleaning, studytable , wifi,etcThere are different hostels depending upon the persons budgetYou will get a clear cut idea once you visit the place personally.My advise is for the first year students joining Acharya institutes to stay in the hostel for the first year .There are many pgs outside the college but many have been shut due to fight between the owners and students there.So hostel is best place for the freshers and can make new friends in there as there are about 300 to 400 students from different places .There are paking place for the two wheelsand sitout at the front where you can chill during night with all the beautyful lighting .Cons -The food in here is little tuff to adjustLike the food at initial days are good but the quality tapers down as the time goes.Also the problem of bed bugs.Although they have initiated pest control services but no positive results.The same continues....

Good Hostel ..

Awesome hostel guys so nice and clean and peaceful place every rooms have attached bathrooms there are only three members per room. Bathrooms are also very clean. Each one will get one cupboard, bed etc. Ive no words to explain that. At last its a one of the best hostels in Bengaluru.

Good place to stay if you are too lazy to do your chores. And food is also great, youll find plenty of place to eat near the hostel. And if you decide to eat from the mess, Goodluck, may God help you (except for some days of the week when its fine to eat) . But be aware these guys wont miss a single chance to get money out of you. These guys would slap a fine on breathing as well if they could

Not the best place to enjoy ur college life .. but those sneaky night outs and u know.. college makes this hostel special ... food quality is the worst.. u have to make different different arrangements for ur food if u want survive here..and.. security is mehh okayish.. but few guards are friendly few like hitler.. but who cares.. tbh..if u get good roomie..stay there for one year..juat to get adjust know stuffs a little make memories..then move out . its better to stay at hostel only for 1st year . 😜😝

Hostel food is only good until the first few months....The internet is not proper....now there is chlorine in content in the drinking water but they are not doing anything.House keeping is also not up to the mark.

Good place to reside with all the facilities. The facilities provided here are good. Room are cleaned daily/regular basis.

Inspired by the cleanliness maintained by the hostel staff in kitchen, rooms, colliders and everywhere in the Boys hostel premises. The taste of food is 3.5/5 which is most satisfied compared to hostel food. Rooms are well furnished and build according to students convenience. Greenery is maintained in the surroundings.

Acharya boys hostel situated at soladevanahalli is a cool and conducive place for study. The Gambia students association in India spent three days in the hostel to celebrate Thier first event students week and graduation in june 2018 and most of the students enjoyed it there. This year June 2019 will be the second time staying in the hostel.

Accommodation is good.. Rooms quality are good and hygiene. But the food in the mess is not up to the mark..

I always use to abuse acharya hostel till I was there, but once I came out then I realized its importance. Miss u acharya

If you are in acharya hostel ,then you are wastingYour 115000 Rs .Dont go to the looks and infrastructure.You cant live in hostel because a INSECT called BEDBUGS is in hostel they use to suck your blood(50 ml daily).Bedsheets are full of blood.you will become very weak within a month and you cant sleep at nights.If you gone complaint about this they will put some pesticides, but nothing will happen,bedbugs will comeback in 2 daysOne more problem is food quality is worst. For one month you will find it good but after that you start ordering from outside or something else.One more funny thing about this is here some wardens does not know hindi, but they have learned english from Oxford university. Their favorite sentence is YOU MEET IS THE MANAGER .Here he is trying to say you have to meet the manager . After listening their english you will say koi itna galat kaise ho sakta hai bhai.Guys it means they does not know english as well .only they know kannada.At last i just wanna say Dont go for acharya hostel .This all i have written is pure TRUTH and my one year experience.

Request you all not to opt for hostel.. The rooms are full of bedbugs and upon that the management does not take appropriate action.

This college is worse than we anticipated. It is only for taking money and no service. The food is disgusting and sometimes they provide stale food too. The staff refuse to provide meals even when payment has been made before hand,a month ago.Baccho ko khana nahi hai or,bolke wapas bhej dete hai. Khane ka taste bhi kharab hai. They preach they give north meal,south meal etc etc. But everythingis a lie. No food on sunday. Rooms are small and they have so many hidden charges for hostel repair ,maintenance etc. Absolutelyrubbish place.

No proper maintenance.No good response from wardens or hostel manager.Not worthy for paid money.No tasty food and food is also not worthy for paid money.

The worst place ,i have ever seen in my life. Hostel FOOD is non hygienic, tasteless ,bad quality as well as quality is also limited.here special item is paneer of 3 picies, in this only you have to eat 4 to 5 roties.hostel rooms are full of BEDBUGS.they will suck your blood,and give you eching problem.management is very bad.if you have any complaint, regarding any matter then no one is there to hear you. many unwanted restrictions are there,like you cant order food from outside etc.Only outer infrastructure is good and nothing else.In first view you will find it good after 3 or 4 months you will come to know ,you lost your 1,11,000 .and you will regret i cant leave hostel for one year.so i suggest you to go for PG. That will be a better option.you can take PG in 60000 to 75000 in double sharing, including foodingi am not saying PGs are good ,but you will have option to change it in next month,to find it better.

I am from Kolkata,West Bengal.After staying here for nine months I am sharing my experiences ,keep patience and read to last.u will understand everything .- Food is not good,Its not for North Indians, Its not hygenic , not having good taste , not good quantity as required .They only give 3 pieces of chicken or paneer .one lady is there behaves very rudely with all & I think she is not from a very good family .Rooms- Rooms are full of Bedbugs , Pillow and Beds are not good , At night Bedbugs soaks blood and cause etching problems in skin.Rooms are not cleaned at daily basis.sometimes they do cleaning operation but goes in vain.Network - Mobile network (any company simcards)is not available here .You have to go outside for surfing internet and making calls.In lan and wifi most of the sites are blocked and speed is very low.U can use it only 5-12 o clock at night.Drinking Water- First 5 months they provided RO fliter whoose water is mixed with chlorine and now they provide small jar of water which dont have any brand and very bad , I buy from outside .Management:its very bad , Laptops ,mobiles ,shirts , pants,underwears are stolen by workers and some of security gurads on daily basis, hostel manager dont take any responsibility of that , wardens are bad , dont even know Hindi or English.Power cut daily 15-20 times , no fan and bathroom light available during power cuts . u CANT order food from outside after 10,0 clock.television is there but they dont run it .its only for show.In MEDICAL EMERGENCY ,THEY DONT HELP YOU, no medicine and no doctor avalaible.Parking facility is available.ONLY OUTER STRUCTURE OF THIS HOSTEL IS GOOD .DONT TAKE HKG HOSTEL, ITS A HOUSE OF BEDBUGS, U CANT SLEEP , U CANT STUDY , FOODS ARE VERY BAD, WHAT THE MANAGEMENT TELLING IS DAMN LIE.AFFORD NEARBY PG-S OR FLAT IN 65K OR 70K., LESS THAN 1L11k of hkg hostel(the house of Bedbugs)Also at Last They FINED RUPEES 2000 FOR NO REASON FROM EVERY STUDENTS OF HOSTELS (FROM THIS THEY EARN APPROX 7 LAKHS AND 20THOUSANDS)DONT TAKE THIS HOSTEL , THEY DONT HAVE ANY HUMANITY, FOOD IS GETTING VERY BAD TO WORSE IN LAST COUPLE OF DAYS)

Acharya hostels are good.you get free wifi here with amaizing speeds and food in the mess is also good.

Good place better than most PGs, pleasant Garden and environment, weekly cleaning, Laundry services and hygienic Mess food.

Hostel is full of bedbugs, they will suck your blood and you will face itching problem.You can find worst food here in this hostel, about 90% of 1st year student live in hostel because they are new, they dont know about how bad acharya hostel is. i bet you that you will regret if you will go in acharya hostel even in 1st year.buildings and infrastructure are good, rooms are good but main problems are worst food, bedbugs, no security of your goods, no network, no wifi.Day to day mobiles, laptop get stolen in hostel and security incharge will not take any responsibility of your goods.wifi is in hostel, but it will not work, and most of website are blocked.you will not find any network . you have to go outside for take calls and surf net.warden of hostel cant even talk in hindi, as well as english.i will sugest all new students to take PG, it will take half of money and you can also change mess if you will not find good food.Most of parents think that in first year, their wards will find difficulty to adapt in new condition but their is no ragging(0% )activities so they can adapt very easily, i am telling you my experience.so go for PG ,you will find many PGs around hostel and near collage.

Worst hostel I have ever seen. Its not a hostel its a house of bed bugs.In mess a ladyboy she doesnt allow to eat sufficient food. Very very bad food is provided. Security guard stole laptops and mobiles phones from room by opening the cupboard and they say that they dont care.
