ஸ்ரீ தண்டு மாரியம்மன் தேவஸ்தானம் - a peaceful place where goddess Parvati resides and blesses her devotees in a grandeur way. The temple also shares its space for Ganesha, Murugan, Shiva, Guru & Sani Bagawan, Ayyappa & Anjaneya Swamy together with Navagraha. Have a blissful feel in this temple that maintains its old charm.

Besides worship, the temple was an important place for community activities during the colonial era. It was even the Registry of Marriages for Hindus—at the time, only the temple was authorised to solemnise Hindu marriages.It has been restored numerous times, most recently in 2010. This S$4-million restoration project saw a team of about 20 artists brought in from India, and included repainting all the stone deities.

Maas temple has to be the best. But the young pujari boy and the main pujari does not show any interest to any bhakt who comes to seek blessings of mata. They will not ask your name gotra anything. They will take the offerings that you brought for mata and will do 15 sec puja. And you can leave then.
