200 bucks for a coffee. Need I say more. They have tried to spruce up the place nicely. Okay enough place. The English breakfast was at par with any of the cafes serving similar food. People may visit for its Ambience and view of the Ulsoor lake from the rooftop.

Ordered an English breakfast and tea with milk. My breakfast had the expected elements, but was flavorless and delivered cold. I did not eat the sweet lump of beans, nor did I drink the tea. The taste of the tea was unbearable. Moreover, why serve one and a half sausages instead of two?

Really nice and cozy place. The outdoor seating is no longer available. The food is okish. Prices are okay for the price paid. Service is fast. Would recommend not to try the sangria. The chicken fingers had a hard covering and the pasta sauce was watery. The place is still nice to chill and people tend to smoke in the common area itself.

The place is situated in a very good loccation, near the lake. The food was average and the premises was very dusty (top floor). Ground floor space was pretty neat. Would recommend the place for the ambience in the evening..It needs routine maintenance though to keep the charm on.

Lovely little restaurant situated in central Bangalore right next to the Ulsoor lake. Its like a peice of the old forgotten Bangalore and was a wonderful find and experience. Found it while trying to find dog friendly restaurants in the city and was pleasantly surprised to find how welcoming they were to our dog.The food was tasty, fairly generous and reasonably priced. The staff was courteous and friendly. The service was a bit slow and some of us finished our food while the other hadnt received theirs yet, so that was a little bad. However, despite this, we still had a lovely experience and hope they will continue to do wonderful things and make things better.

Lovely hospitality. Enjoyed the breakfast spread. The eggplant dish is absolutely amazing. And the best past is, they are dog friendly. We visited with 3 dogs and the dogs could peacefully sleep under the table.

Cutleries are not clean...u might not get what u ordered for but then u also have to accept it as it cant be taken back neither it would be deducted from bill.Lime soda is not good.Also its not cleaned on regular basis but the only good part was that food items were tasty.

The place used to be a favourite. Food always has been great in this small yet cozy joint. But for some reason they have lost out on hygiene the plates in which food was served was not clean. The pepper powder kept on the table had dead insects in it. Was a bad experience.

The place is an absolute hidden gem. The ambiance is homely and the terrace seating is aptly covered by the shades of a jamun tree overlooking the Ulsoor lake. If youre fond of quaint places, good food and a bit of wine, you shouldnt miss this place.

We just wanted to try English breakfast after long time and heard that Urban Solace is one of the best restaurant that serves good breakfast just 3 km away from Cubbon park where we go for walk on SAT. But it really disappointed with its food. atmosphere was cool though. Parking is challange always. Not sure whether the food is pathetic only for breakfast. Even they charged heavily for their below average breakfast. We ordered Frech Toast, scrambled egg, spanish Omlette, hash brown and their speciality coffee. Frech toast was served with lots of sugar on it. Scrambled egg (of 2eggs i guess) was served on normal plate and its of 100 bugs !!! Spanish egg usually stuffed with potatos amd onions.. Here its an omlette with some cheese spread on ot with 2-3 slices of potato. They told its their style.. Why the hell they call it spanish ommlette ? I asked them to replace with originsl receipe. Then they served another omlette with potatos and veggies sautes on TOP of it. Then I realised its their standard. And top of that they charged 200 bugs for that. They served store bought Hash brown fried. Was not tasty at all..And their speciality coffee was served in a small cup and it was just below average.. Altogether it was 750+ for 2.. for the BELOW AVERAGE ENGLISH BREAKAST from one of the most hyped restaurant in Banglore. It seems they are celebrating 10 years in Bangalore. Just wondering how are they surviving despite of providing sub standard in breakfast. It is the worst English breakfast experience in my life. My recommendation : STRICTLY NO for breakfast from here. maximum rating I can give.. 1 star.

This quaint cafe is a good getaway if you are looking for some place offbeat. I went here to attend a poetry reading session, so I didnt get much of a chance to explore their menu. You could definitely visit if you are looking to explore new places.

The place is great because of its ambiance and general vibe. Its a bungalow converted to a restaurant. They have great events and beautiful art exhibits happening through the year.The food was okay.

Mix of mediocre and high priced dishes. It is a personalized mix of makeup to the old place. Mostly it is about the various clubs run by the owner than the food itself. A fare and simple collection of wine is offered. Smoking is okay but you have to carry your own.

Located opposite the Ulsoor lake, in a quiet pocket, the restaurant has a very Bombay vibe for those of you who can appreciate it. There food is on par, though I only tried the Spinach salad (which really impressed me since I was on a strict diet at the time). The service was a slightly slow, though I imagine if you were seated downstairs, it would have been faster.

A quaint respite from the usual restobars and a lovely location to be at at night.The meal was good and filling, and the ambience was quiet but yet lively.I personally would prefer it people would be refrained from smoking up at the restaurant, or if a separate section is made available for those who do want to smoke/smoke up so that others are not subjected to it as passive recipients.

Tried the non-alcoholic beer. Ginger was really good. Malt coffee, not so much.Didnt like the food at all.Friends had the wine. They liked the white wine sangria.Music and ambience is pretty good.

Ordered the special English breakfast and everything came out just perfect. The bacon was crisp and salty, the hashbrowns was fried to perfection with a nice golden color and the cheese omelet was just delicious. Last but not the least the pancake with ice-cream was right on the money. Went on a hunger craving and came out satisfied.

Simple. Peaceful. Subtle. I place you can spend all evening just sipping wine and reading. Lives up to its name quite well.

One of the most relaxing places in the city. It is located beside Ulsoor lake and is a great place to chill. The food served here is great, my personal favourite is the Chicken Steak. The service is quick and its easy to forget time when you are here with your friends. The place is also famous for its lovely evening breeze. A must visit if youre in Bangalore.
