I was referred by a friend to one Suresh. My needs were to send some paintings i had done during lockdown to my son and grandchildren in Iceland.Suresh stated he would make some plywood boxes to put the paintings in and wrap as some had frames and in glass. i paid him in cash only as that is how he said i had to pay and also not pay gst. i paid him 140000 in cash . for sending few paintings . I was excited for sending Christmas gifts to my family and trusted Suresh. only my son informed the paintings arrived broken and crudely wrapped in pieces of cardboard and the bubble wrap i had put myself.i told my son to take to a frame place and get estimates so i could make a claim since Suresh stated he used Fedex. Days passed and nothing. i sent photos of the damages, costs of fixing if possible and Suresh stated he made a claim.still after long time and many calls Fedex had no record of claims here or internationally.i had requested copy of the claim from Suresh but he said he couldnt give me.,The damages were over 450.00USD plus my son paid 300.00usd for customs on items i had receipts for. ie, few brass items.finally Suresh stated he woukd send ONE piece of glass wrapped by me plus reimburse me 14, 350rs! til today he ignores my requests.i have since found other reputable shippers who charge far less even today to iceland and usa .I informed Suresh i will give him a poor review plus I will not refer him to anyone.He overcharged me , had me pay him Cash, no debit card or check, and left me feeling like a fool. this has gone on for months.i have met another person he has cheated. it is good to have business but you must treat people fairly and not take advantage. it seems i will go to Consumer Court. He is aware of my illness and my expenses for treatment. still some people just dont give a damn.
