Quite hard to find such a place in kormangla. It has wide range of varieties from chats to North Indian cuisine and the taste is as good as it can get. Its not so expensive either. Chole batura and cheese stuffed pav bahji are the top picks from this place. Do give a visit to this place once.

A small, quaint place with seating for about 30 people, this vegetarian place, only 20 days old, specializes in serving authentic Mumbaiyya khana along with some Indo-Chinese and North Indian dishes. The interiors are simple yet tastefully done, especially the mural on the wall depicting Mumbai landmarks and dishes.I visited this place for lunch today. Started off with Mango milkshake which was yummy. Not too thick nor too sweet. Perfect refresher for a hot summer day.Proceeded to the main course by ordering the following:1. Tapori Fries - Crispy french fries with a hint of slat and chilli powder. Crunchy and delicious.2. Pav Bhaji - Easily one of the top 3 pav bhajis Ive had in my life. The pav was perfectly done and the bhaji was lip-smacking.3. Mumbai Bhel - Bhel Puri with a Mumbai twist. Yummy.4. Dahi Papdi chat - Soothing and delectable.5. Dilli Ke Chole Kulche - Taste was good but somehow, I felt it lacked the authenticity of the original. The chole was too watery but the kulcha was great.6. Tawa Pulao - A really tasty rice dish with the perfect blend of veggies and spices.7. Colaba - Panini like with a filling of veggies and liquid cheese. Was amazing and filling.Rounded off the meal with some Nimbu Masala Soda and Masala Chai. The soda was very refreshing  and the masala taste was conspicuous without being overpowering. The chai is served in a kulhad (clay cup) and was amazingly tasty. The prices are very reasonable considering the location and the service was top-notch. If you are looking for some authentic Mumbai street food, do give this place a try. You will not regret it.

If you ever want to taste the Mumbai street food in Bangalore, Mumbai Xpress is a one stop destination. This place serves some mouth smacking dishes starting from Mumbai style Chaats to chini khana to kullad wali chai.I had visited this place with a friend on Thursday evening. We had started with some delicious Samosa Chola Chaat which is good, quite delicious. The chole were well cooked and the masala was well balanced. Followed by Cheese Vada Pav, nothing like the Mumbai style but its good. We also had potato wedges which are need to be improved. Else the masala and taste is well balanced. The Bhel Puri was a bit disappointing, the Bhel that is being used doesnt works for that flavor.Having said that the best dish I tried there was Aloo ka Paratha - best ever. Filled properly with potato and made soft and the taste factors just amazing. The whole paratha is heart filling and stomach filling. You would love it.We also had Tawa Pulao something which I have liked in this place for a long time. The make it spicy and worth every bite. The service here is good, the place is worth visiting and have a nice kullad wali chai too.Overall I loved this place. I would love to visit again to try new itemsVerdict :Food 4/5Service 4/5Ambiance 4/5AdiosAkhilesh

Located in Jyoti Nivas College road, Koramangala, Mumbai Xpress is here to let you experience the food in Amchi Mumbai style. Though it is a small outlet but has managed to utilise the space with simple yet quirky interiors.I visited this place on a Tuesday for dinner to try out their unique menu. We started with the basic vada pav which wasnt exactly the way I have eaten in Mumbai but it tasted good. Then we tried the chole samosa chaat which was quite enticing as we couldnt stop ourselves from eating it.For the main course, we had the Chandani Chawk ke Aloo Parathe which was a mix of potatoes and onions. The parathas were cooked so well with proper amount of filling in it. This was one of the best dish I had here. Then we tried the tawa pulav which was exactly like the one that you might get in the streets or small shops of Mumbai. The quantity of each dish aptly justified their prices in the menu. A must visit place if you want to try some Mumbai food sitting in Bangalore! 😋

While my friends and I were craving for some lip-smacking quick bites, we chanced upon this place named Mumbai Xpress. Just by seeing the name and the uber-cool wall art upon entering the place depicting the day-to-day life in Mumbai was good enough to convince us about this newly-opened eatery.Cheesy Chindi Goli - We started off with these potato pops with cheesy sauce on top. A light snack, this one is a treat for potato lovers.Their chaat items are good too and if you have tried Chaat items in the north part of the country, then you would be happy to try them here.Dahi Papri Chaat was mouth-watering in which the crisp papdis were topped with a variety of toppings such as onions, boiled potatoes, sev, sweetened curd and more.Mumbai Bhel had a balance of chutneys although I would have loved it had it been spicier.Chowpatty Pav Bhaji – The bhaji they serve here has an authentic taste with the perfect blend of spices simmered and cooked with veggies and tasted absolutely yummy with the soft and fluffy pavs toasted in butter. This is among the best pav-bhajis that I have had in the city so far.Carter Road Pizza – With the jalapeno sauce spread out generously on the base, this pizza had capsicum, tomato and onion for toppings. The pizza did not taste dry or bland because of the sauce which was creamy in texture and mildly spicy.Colaba Pizza – Enjoyed this pizza with a twist. If you are looking for a flat bread pizza, then chances are that you might be surprised because this one is served more in a panini style. The delectable combination of vegetables stuffed inside the oh-so-soft bread with cheese oozing out from sides to melt your heart away is a great quick-bite option at this place.Masala Kulhad Chai – Wrapping up the meal with a hot beverage is always my preference when I am eating out with friends. Here, we opted for Masala Kulhad Chai. Loved the earthen smell of the Kulhad which further enhances the flavour of the beverage. The masala they had added was aromatic and well-blended with no overwhelming taste of any of the spices. The service here is good enough that you can comfortably enjoy your meal whereas the seating arrangement is decent enough to accommodate close to 20 people at a time. Their menu is vast and offers some splendid meal options as well. I am eager to try them but equally keen on going back for that Pav Bhaaji sometime soon.

This place is near Jyoti nivas college. The restaurant is small with 25 people can seating capacity( approx). The food what I had was-Vada pav- masala aloo Vada with cheese. The pav was soft and fresh. Along with green chili it tasted great.Pav vaji- this lipsmacking buttery dish you should not miss.Colaba Mumbai pizza- Overloaded with cheese, mayonnaise and veggies. One is enough for dinner.Tawa- pulao - it was decent but could be more chatpata as this was a street food.Paneer paratha- the paratha was surprisingly good. The paneer stuffing was good enough and tasty too.Pineapple milkshake - I didnt like the artificial flavor. Could have used real pineapple for etterr taste. The price is very reasonable.

Mumbai Xpress is a great place to be at if youre a big-time fan of street foods of India. The place has some great tangy delicacies to feast onto. The interior is done really well and adheres to the theme- which is typically Mumbai food. I loved the wall decals which look more of a graffiti.Talking about the food and drinks, for drinks you dont get much choice for cold beverages yet the classics are on their menu including Lemon Soda, Lassi, Cold Coffee and some Flavoured Milkshakes.**A BIG SHOUTOUT TO THE TEA LOVERS**Having great tea is so refreshing if I talk about myself, I may sound a little biased because of my love for tea but trust me, MASALA KULHAD CHAI is something everyone must try when around Koramangala from this eatery. The best part for me was the small bites, what we call it Marori in Punjabi and some know it by Khaari. They were so fresh and tasted as if they were straight out of the baking oven.Few other delightful treats I enjoyed along my friends were: DAHI PURI CHAAT, SCHEZWAN FRIES, CHEESY POTATO POPS and MUMBAI BHEL PURI- All of them were decent, well prepared and were served in substantial portion sizes. Each of them could easily serve 2.One EXTRAORDINARY treat I got to try here was their COLABA PIZZA which was more of a deconstructed Pizza. Reminded me of a Panini Sandwich, not exactly the same but yes whatever fusion was done there kept the flavours intact and was a different experience for my palate. All in all, the place has a good menu, genuine pricing and a nice vibe to it, where one can sit along with their company and have a great time with quality talks (for those who love to gossip) alongside some lip-smacking food.

A bit of hand holding on service aspect can be looked into. The interiors are kept to bare minimum with more emphasis on food. The food tried-1.Cheesy Potato Wedges- a food that can never go wrong anytime. Perfect2.Wadala Vada Pav- Perhaps the best in class and taste. Brings out the memories of the streets of Mumbai3.Cheese Chowpatty Pav Bhaaji-nothing but your traditional Pav Bhaaji with Cheese.... finger licking good. Pav was done to perfection( not burnt nor under cooked)4.Gangtok Chilli Garlic Fried Rice & Veg Ball Manchurian- Best avoid.... a shame to be served on the menu. Apart from the presentation, the taste or the way it was cooked was a disaster5. Tawa Palav- a decent dish which could have been better on taste.A outing for 2 would cost typically between Rs 500-600/- . Both Cards and Cash accepted.Online delivery availableReservations not mandatory. No reserved parking available nor Valet Parking. No Alcohol Available however very good Tea AvailableIf you are looking to catch up with friends on a limited budget and eat comforting food, this is the place to be.

Their menu comprises of simple dishes with quite affordable pricing. I paid a visit on a saturday for the lunch. Take a look at what I have tasted there👉Mango milkshake :This shake is thick in consistency and tasted mangolicious. If you are a mango lover this is a must try.👉Dahi papdi Chat :This chat will surely make you to feel nostalgic. All the ingredients are balanced. Curd tasted fresh and the level of sweet was moderate.👉Cheese chowpatti pav bhaji :Pav is quite fluffy with adequate amount of butter brushed on it. The gravy is quite flavoursome and cheesy. Do not miss to try out this delicacy.👉Masala Soda :Somehow this beverage didnt impress me. It has sufficient masala but with no fizz. This could be improved.👉 Darjeeling chilli garlic noodles :Noodles are fried to perfection with sufficient amount of veggies and masala. Its moderately spicy and delicious.Staff was courteous and quick in service. So now you know where to taste authentic street food in Koramanagala.

I was astounded by the authentic taste here.Coming to the food I had,Wadala Vada Pav: The Vada or patty was perfect seasoned well with mustard. Maybe a little more of Dhaniya was present on the garnish.Chowpatty Pav Bhaji: As the name suggests, near a chowk in Chowpatty, they make this wonderful pav bhaji and found here to be authentic as same. For Bangalooreans, this is a totally different treat!!Aksa Sandwich: This is the real sandwich which we obtain on the streets of Aksa. Not for a South Indian tastebud for sure.Colaba: Mumbai style pizza!! Filled with veggies and masala, this is a treat.. wonderfully presented.Tawa Pulav: Woah woah woah!! No words to describe the best Tawa Pulav ever had in Bengaluru.Mumbai BHEL: A different kind of BHEL, which was very well prepared.Hakka Noodles: Pucca apoon ka style!! Craving for Mumbai special food in Bangalore??This small eatery can be perfect to satisfy your nostalgia of Maharashtrian cuisine. They have a cute ambiance with a wall full of graffiti displaying the love for Mumbai. The staff is humble and happy to help you in making your choice here.Mango lassi was smooth and less sweetened as requested, a perfect relief in the scorching summer heat. I am not a big fan of French fries but found them quite decent here being served with mayonnaise and tomato sauce.PAW BHAJI ; I am writing it in block letters so you dont miss to try this authentic dish here. Thinking about it make me crave for it again and again. This was by far the best paw bhaji I have had in Bangalore. Chaats are quite average in taste. If you love curd in your chaat, then dahi papdi chaat is what you should opt for. I found it best among this category. Chhole kulche were good but couldnt match the authenticity of Delhis version of this dish. But taste wise it was great.Looking for some main course, colaba sandwich and tawa pulav are my suggestions. For all cheese lovers this sandwich is a must try. It is filled with liquid cheese and tastes amazing. I tried their nimbu masala soda and found it quite different from other places. The masala was dominated by red chilli and surprisingly it was great.

Horrible, horrible place. The 5-star rating is either purchased or posted by own members (proof: one person posting pictures of 7-8 dishes! clearly shows that it is a bought one)1. Food is stale2. Taste is worse than awfulOrdered via Swiggy, a Pav Bhaji & Chole chaat. Bhaji was nothing like bhaji (not to mention that it was not fresh at all). Chole chaat was smelling, I dont know if some chutney there or entire thing was stale (maybe 2-3 days old) but something was off-putting in that dish.PS: We are having an upset stomach with the little that we had in the order. Please please please run away from this place and stay far away!

Whoever has given more than 1 star rating for this restaurant, is either a paid review or has never visited mumbai. Probably this is the first they might have heard about mumbai dishes. The owner has done a good job in mapping the mumbai places and naming the dishes accordingly. But merely naming the dishes doesn’t give the same taste.Coming to review for what I ordered. I ordered pav bhaji and pizza. Pav was proper mumbai pav. But bhaji was super flop. It was not bhaji but something else. Only the chef or owner could know it.Coming to pizza, nowhere near to what mumbai restaurants make inhouse pizza....I don’t think the chef has ever visited mumbai. The food might have been made looking at youtube videos.Inshort, this is the first and last time I am having food from this place.

This place has got some good stuffs. First, you will find seats whenever you go as it is not a very crowded place. No waiting queue unlike the other highly rated restaurants and cafes (Maybe this will change after this review goes viral, Haha). Second, the place is full of Mumbai vibes. Be it the art on the walls or even the name of the items in menu card, you will see Mumbai style everywhere. Third and most important, the food. It has never disappointed me. Its not too expensive and the taste and quantity is satisfactory. I would suggest this place to people looking for some quck meals. Do try pav bhaji, its amazing.

One of the best food joint in Koramangala. Its a cute small place with 25-30 sitting with best ambiance. We get variety of food from indian vada pav to Chinese noodles to Italian pizza all with a twist. One of my fav dish is Darjeeling chilly garlic noodles with paneer chilli combo. Dont miss their special kulhad chai. The place is self service and really easy on pocket. All in all its an awesome place for all your food carvings.

Burger bole tho bhakwasVada pav bole tho Jhakas !😄😄😄Do you feel this way about Desi style quick bites and street food 😋?Then you gotto head to this new chain of quick bites restaurant called Mumbai xpress .when we  think of Mumbai it’s the street food that comes to our mind first .Now you can grab a bit of Mumbai style quick bites at this place. We love Mumbai style pav bhaji , missal , vada pav , bhel and the list goes on🔸Must try :🔸Pav bhaji🔸Hakka noodles and Gobi Manchurian🔹Ambience :Small  but space is well utilised . few pops of color with doodle art on the wall at the entrance that remind one of Mumbai and faux windows insidePerfect place for a quick bite.🔹Service : Quick & prompt .🔹Food :Street food scene in Mumbai is vibrant and buzzing . This restaurant serves many popular dishes and has given names of the popular areas from Mumbai going with the theme .🔸Our Order :Pav bhaji ,Papri Chaat , colaba style upside down pizza ,Nimbu Soda , French fries ,  Hakka noodles and gobi manchurian .The pav bhaji was quite authentic and delicious .I had been craving some good old gobi Manchurian and hakka noodles . And I surely was satisfied from what I had there .Lately haven’t found a place which can do the good street style  gobi machurian well . But this place did and I will surely be ordering from here again .Papri Chaat , my all time favoutire chaat and this was perfectly balanced and was loaded . two people can easily shareThe upsidedown pizza burger is very filling  and yum , one of this and you cant try anything elseThe fries were crispy. We wanted to polish off this meal with some khulad chai but we were so stuffed so skipped that . but you should surely do .🔹Overall VerdictVery affordable prices , must visit for Mumbai style street food and street style Gobi Manchurian

We visited the restaurant on 1st June 2019. Although seating capacity is less but it is a gem of restaurant. We order poorie chole, chole bhature, vada pav and pav bhaji. All the items were very good especially pav bhaji. No high quantity of masalas that would upset your stomach. Good one!

Another gem added to Koramangala. They have recently opened in Koramangala. I really liked their other outlet at Bellandur, so I decided to check this out as well. I ordered Panner Paratha and Paw Bhaji, and to be very frank I have never seen a paratha so well stuffed. Really liked the food here and the owner is really friendly and will make sure the food is custom made as per your request.

Mumbai Xpress - Located at Koramangala 5th Block. Small & cozy restaurant can fill up to 20-30 pax. Ambiance is divided into a/c & non-a/c section, both the section is decorated with quirky quotes & graffiti of lifestyle of Mumbai.Judging by the name of the restaurant, one can easily identify cuisine served over here, that is the Famous Mumbaiya Ishtyle Street food. :PComing to the food, we started our evening with a special Masala Chai & Maska Bun. Chai was served in kulhad, absolutely refreshing and perfect start.Later Moving on, we ordered Famous Cheese Vada Pav. One of the best Vada Pav I had in bangalore perfectly combined with melted cheese & Schezwan sauce.I would definitely recommend their Cheese Pav Bhaji & Grilled Sandwich, similar taste which we get in Mumbai. In Mains we had Gangtok chilli garlic Fried Rice along with Manchurian balls, which was decent in taste. Portion is decent enough for 2 people.Overall an decent experience, service was prompt, would surely visit again for kulhad chai with bun.

Mumbai Express located at kormangala will revive your memories of mumbai. For the people who have not been to Mumbai can try the Staple foods of Mumbai here and for mumbaikars like me its a delight to be here and relive the memories of Mumbai in Bangalore.Ambience :- Ambience is quite basice with basic light and seating arrangement. Wall is decorated with MUMBAI written on it and showing the life line of mumbai which is vadapav. which can fill your hunger anytime, anywhere with a decent amount as well.Service :- Service is good and would not have to wait much for your food.Foods:-The food menu is quite interesting with names of mumbai roads and best places the dishes are named after that.we ordered Chai with bun, Aloo tikki chat, papdi chat, vada pavpav bhaji, chat and sandwiches which are the most loved foods in mumbai.overall foods which we had tasted same as we used to get in the mumbai. In the mains we had tibet fried rice, gangtok chilli fried rice along with Manchurian balls and Darjeeling chilli garlic noodles. All are the Chinese dishes which you get in mumbai anywhere. it tasted same as well.Overall a great experience being here and having my fav dishes from Mumbai after a long span of time

Mumbai Xpress literally takes you back to Mumbai with its authentic street style Mumbai ka khana. Cosy place with all the walls having quirky things painted on them. Can accommodate around 20 people. Its located on the jyoti nivas road and yes no parking available. You can drop by for some quick street food.My most favourite at this place is their Vada pav and pav bhaji. My friends from Mumbai approved it to be authentic 🤭❤️ Chai with Bun Maska is a must to make your evenings better. The Paapdi chat and the sev Puri was jus wow😍 The Sandwich is pretty decent ! And among the rice bowls I would suggest the Schezwan rice with veg ball Manchurian. The veg ball Manchurian is jus so perfect and luscious ❤️ Other than this the Garlic Fried rice was good too. I would not suggest their Masala Lemonade cos it was jus some chilli powder in the lemon juice which wasnt very good to be honest but the Lassi can be a go to option.Service was quite good. The staff could be more interactive is what I felt. Overall a good experience. Would definitely go back for the Vada pav though.

Been here on a weekend with friends in the evening. The ambience is nice, they have around 10-15 tables, and is pretty spacious.Tried Potato Cheese Balls [3/5], Bhel [4/5], Cheesy fries [3/5], Dahi Papdi Chat [5/5], Pav Bhaji [5/5] was one thing that I liked the most, it was buttery and tasted good, also had Vada Pav [3/5], the red chutney tasted nice, even the alu sabji tasted good, only area of improvement I would suggest is that the covering should be more thick, which would make it taste better, we also had pizza [4/5] (I don’t remember the name :P), it was overloaded with veggies and cheese.Ambience – 4/5Food – 4/5Presentation – 5/5Hygiene - 4/5Service –4/5Value for money – 4/5
