Dr Shirish was very direct and calm with the explanations and questions and the staff is very cordial. Premise is kept very clean. Charges are reasonable. Queue management is not very transparent though

We have known Dr. Sirish for over 14 years and it was but natural to refer my parents to him for their cataract surgery. The confidence that he gave my parents about the surgery and the benefits thereafter helped them complete the process for both eyes in a week. The facilities at the hospital are well maintained, clean and the staff is attentive and helpful. There is a waiting time for the surgery as the machine gets calibrated for one eye first before the other. The actual surgery is not over 10 mins and Dr. Sirish keeps the patient engaged to alleviate any fears or concerns they may have. The schedule for medications post surgery is explained in great detail by the staff. Post surgery consultation is done a day later to check the eye. Any slight discomfort is normal and can be resolved with appropriate medication. I got the reference of Dr. Nelivigi from my friend in Medical Field. My Father and mother both were detected with Cataract Issue back home and hence we got them to Bangalore for the surgery.Dr. Nelivigi met my parents and referred some test for my father and asked him to wait for more 12 months as the issue was not so evident. Only a good doc can do this who really understands the patients priorities.However, my mother was suggested to get both the eye cataract operations done. Both the surgeries were done in an interval of a week and it was so smooth that it was done in less than 30 mins each.I really want to thank Sheetal Ji who was very helpful and her empathy really made the hospital a better place in such times. Considering it was a 7 year old getting check up done.sarcasm was the one thing not required at that moment.everyone is not comfortable with eye drops.my daughter put eye drops and when was asked to put third time ,she started crying .when I told the staff to tell doctor that she isnt ready and her eyes are burning now.the doctor called and told us .since u both are not cooperating i m giving the power junior doctor suggested.I told him can u check again - some dilation must have happened .to that he said since its a small increase its ok.When it was a small increase why did he made us wait for 30 mins ....there was a time I used to tell everyone about nelvigi .now I think I have to look for a better alternative. Any suggestions?

I visited the place based on google reviews for the first time and then became a regular visitor for general check up every 6 month. The good thing about the place is doctor wont prescribe any medicine or eyerdrop unnecessarily. There have been two occasion where I took my dad for genral visit and both the time, no eyedrops were prescribed.They can however improve on booking slots through appointment.

Visited the Hospital for general check up related to an eye infection, a neatly maintained Hospital, well treated staff, caring Doctors ( I consulted Dr. Aditya). Visitors should leave the footwear at designated place out side the reception. Dr Aditya has explained about the infection very patiently. I’m not very sure about the advanced treatments though, it’s highly recommended for general eye check up and treatments.

Dont get PRK done here. They dont have enough expertise and looks like not done many. No follow-ups. It is been 6+months still having double vision.For basic eyecheckup fine.

Good hospital, Very less waiting time

My son got an eye injury while playing during evening and was bleeding badly on the eye lid. Panic stricken I called the hospital. The hospital staff immediately arranged for a video call where Dr Sireesh inspected his wound. Then he suggested us to come down as we were staying near and overstayed for us to go there. There he took good care and did a detailed checkup for my sons wound and treated him. Truly indebted for their care and assurances. Thanks.

Dr.sirish nelvigi is an inefficient doctor. Completely fails in diagnosis of the problems .Fully money minded makes the patients roam around their hospital multiple times give them some stupid eye drops every time. Collects consultation fees for every 2 visits with in a month. Support staff is even worse they Doesnt know anything at all.Even single star rating is also waste, should be given .25 star rating. I strongly recommend people to not to go to this stupid place.

I was diagnosed with astigmatism at age 10 and wearing glasses from the past 20 years. Ive consulted dozens of ophthalmologists till date and have been checking my eyesight on regular intervals.Gave a visit to this doctor (Dr. Nelivigi) around 6 months back. He prescribed me an eye power which wouldnt suit me from any angle.The power was far below the spectacle power which is actually required for me. Spherical, cylinder and axis all were not sited properly.Nowadays spectacle lenses dont come cheap. Resultant I wasted nearly 6K on a lens. (Excluding the frame cost)Would not recommend this doctor to any of my family members or friends for consultation.Better to go through a proper review and feedback of the doctors before going for consultations. Rather than getting disappointed post-consultation.As I work in the IT sector crisp clear and effortless vision is very important for me. I used the spectacle for 2 days and dumped it immediately as I was misreading things on my laptop and mobile screens and it constantly gave me a headache.Recently I visited my hometown and there I had a friend who is an ophthalmologist.Currently, Im using the power prescribed by him.

I visited Nelivigi Hospital for my father eye cataract surgery. Till the date I am very much Happy, that how doctor explained about treatment and surgery and yeah also hospital staff is so kind. I feel kindness and discipline and time management should be there for any work you will do, that what I found here.Even I was not a patient but as per my observation I found all mentioned things.
