I loved the ambience. It was a wedding reception and the venue was decorated beautifully. There are colorful flowing fountains, lovely garden, and comfortable seating. The area for eating is spacious. There are clean washrooms and powder spaces. Everything was just lovely. You can make beautiful memories there.

Good and decent hotel with clean rooms.the lobby did smell of dampness and the carpets were dirty. The Manager was shouting at the attendants and the chef on the roof top was shouting at the waiter using cheap language.they all need to understand that they need to maintain the decorum .disturbs the mood and tranquility of the guests present. The pool is very small and the gym is very ill equipped for an decent workout

Best place for corporate training and meetings, roof top is awesome next to swimming pool you can enjoy your dinner.

I have been to McGrath couple of times for corporate meetings. Mid economy hotel but quite neat n clean. Staff is helpful. Service is quick. Food too is fine. Overall, basic amenities are satisfactory, not quite a fancy place though.

I got my wedding reception done in grand magrath on 8 July 2021 afternoon. Per plate we had paid 1450 including 4 varities of starters. As per our discussion with Dominic, who is the manager they were supposed to start with starter service at 1pm but even after notifying multiple times they started serving after 1.30pm. They didnt serve all the starters and whatever they served it was only for very limited time and to very limited people. The issue was raised to Dominic, the manager but he ended up saying we are lying and they had served all the starters and hung up. We also had got two complimentary room to change but AC was not turned on in the rooms. Water bottles were also not served sufficiently and the service was really pathetic. I wouldnt recommend this place for your big day or any big functions. They cheat people and when issue is raised they call them liars.

We had a marriage reception of my son on 20 Mar in the ball room. It was very well organized. I am particularly thankful to sh. Dominic and sh. Gangadharan, who was present till the end of function and took care of all the amenities.

We found it very difficult to find drinking water at around 3 am. It was an emergency and there was noone at the reception desk or room service. We tried to find water ourselves but there was no water in the coolers or filters.To my knowledge it is common practice to keep the reception and room service functional at all times.Would be great if this was looked into.The suite was overpriced for the quality and space it offeredCleanliness was goodThe hall was equipped with good audio facilities

Location, location, location. You cant beat it. Bang on the heart of CBD. Its a medium sized establishment, but offers well appointed rooms and facilities. The cuisine is very good. Ideal place for hosting function, corporate events and get togethers. Its a popular destination for marriage functions too. It has wedding hall and also a rooftop area for it. Has ample parking.

Good hotel in the centre of city. Rooms are spacious and clean. Very calm and not much of noise. Some small quirks are there like no place to keep the soap inside the bathroom, no hand towel. But definitely something which can be overlooked. Breakfast is ok taste wise. Good place to stay for people with work in central Bangalore.

The Grand Magrath Hotel is right in the middle of very busy and bustling Bangalore. It is close to MG Road, Brigade Road and host of Financial Institutions. The hotel is walk-able distance Trinity Metro Station, also to 3 big shopping malls. The Grand Magrath is a nice 4 star hotel with good quality and maintenance. The food served is good. Staffs are well trained and courteous. A perfect place for Corporate Conferences as well, just attended NSDL sponsored ‘Putting Investors First’ conference and the hall was very spacious, acoustically proofed and a good layout. A good Hotel.

Center of the city, accessibility to major malls in a serene locale. Rooms are big and airy, the hotel staff are polite. They offer complimentary breakfast which has Indian, Continental food. We were traveling with my ten month old and the hotel staff were kind enough to accommodate our request for custom oats for the baby.

Its a good hotel with nice facilities. The food tastes good. The andhra style chilli chicken and the keema was the best thing I have had here. The roof top swimming pool is the best part.. and even roof top dining is good.. it is located very close to brigade road.. so you can go shopping easily..

Decent hotel. Both to stay and to hold Conferences, workshops etc. Two wheeler parking is horrible though. Actually parking space is very limited. Food is acceptable. Situated in heart of city. Arbor brewing company, many other pubs, m g road, brigade road, residsncy road, metro station are all walkable distance.

On December 2006 my marriage reception celebrated here. It was great memory in all the ways. The manager and staff were awesome. Last week I was driving through the McGrath road and got all memories remembered. I know its late for giving review. But better late than never :). Need to plan a dinner with my family now :)

I loved staying at the Grand magrath!The food was amazing and so was the lodging. I did not like the bathrooms that much, though other amenities were quite good. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options to choose from!I suggest you have lunch and dinner elsewhere or order a la carte as the buffet is repititive and quite expensive. It has superb location, so you can roam the surrounding area on foot.What I did not like was their extremely expensive airport cab service. I was a solo Traveller and I had my flight at an odd time, so had to make do. But, I suggest taking another cab service for this purpose.

Awesome gem of a place, a hidden gem in the busy Residency road and Brigade road junction. Fantastic 70s style vintage architecture, helpful staff. Food is very good and the premises is kept very clean considering the amount of trainings that happen here. Its surprisingly quiet and calm, probably because of all the surrounding greenery.

Nice hotel. Big rooms and technically sound. The first room in which I was staying had wifi connectivity issues so changed the room. Wifi was working fine in the new room but the charging point had some issues so had to unplug one of the lamps and charge my phone there.Breakfast buffet was awesome and surprisingly had more than 10 items. Swimming pool was nicely maintained.Superb location, very close to Brigade road.value for money.

I attended a day long meeting. The hotel is difficult to notice unless you are very close to the hotel gate. The hotel is very close to well known roads of Bengaluru such as MG Road and Brigade Road. The facilities in the hotel are good to host guests and participants. The meeting was for 100 participants and seems to be a good number in this kind of hotel. The hotel is good for people who love to live in modernized and developed culture, where you love to see the modernization in and around the hotel.

Visited this place on few occasions. Though approach is a challenge and parking is limited, it is very well managed!! Kudos to the friendly staff, and a great set of security and parking staff, they really make your day, if you have a car!!! Incidentally I have not tasted their food. By the look and feel, looks promising!A centrally located, friendly, peaceful and homely place for souls who wish to experience the best of what Bengaluru has to offer in the vicinity, like MG road, Brigade Road, Church St, Samsung Opera House, Cunningham Park, Central Library, Vidhanasoudha, High Court, Kanteerava stadium, Chinnaswamy stadium, KC DAS, Parade Grounds, State owned Cauvery Emporium for Karnataka’s best in handicrafts and lots more. Nicely maintained property. Very spacious rooms with well maintained rooms. Apt for conference meets as they have about 5 halls of different sizes to accommodate anywhere form 50 to 200gathering. Terrance coffee shop is nicely done overseeing the rooftop swimming pool. Food is good and you can have a relaxing time.

All basic amenities available but wifi internet speed is not good.5. Food needs some serious improvement though. Better to go out and eat maybe , anyways there is no shortage of good hotels nearby.

Nice Hotel with good food for short business trips

The Grand Magrath surrounds itself around MG Road, St. Marks Road, Castle Street and Brigade Road. Although the lobby area is very small but rooms are exceptionally clean. Service is also good. On roof top there is a Restaurant with Pool, so if you want to take a drink or dinner beside pool, you can have. There is also Banquet hall which can be book for any ocassion. There is also meeting rooms & halls for any official conference. Nice place. Slight high price.Please like if you found this data useful.

The good hotel near MG Road and has good rooftop restaurant with poolside tables to have your dinner or breakfasts. Its drawback is its window views are blocked and you are trapped in rooms to mercy of TV or just go to restaurant on roof and breath fresh air. Food is average, location coool. room tariffs are between 2500 to 3500 which is starting and can get you decent stay minus views.

First of all, prime location, nothing can beat it. My experience was on attending the training for 3 days, lunch and snacks. Training rooms are great, ambience is fantastic where in you can concentrate on your learning exercises. Lunch menu (buffet) and the sitting arrangement is the only flip side, no great menu or spread. Coffee and snacks are served well.

I visited the grand Magarath hotel because my friend works there as a body massage service worker and is my roommate. He invited me to this amazing place which is right in the heart of Bengaluru on MG Road. This is really a grand place with a roof top swimming pool which was mesmerizing though I didnt actually use it. The front desk people are very courteous and pleasant. They greeted us with a Namaste. The hotel premises are clean and parking is available but bit problem since it is in the middle of a busy street. They have several decent rooms with options though I did not actually stay there. The ball room is fabulous as we got a short glimpse. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, there are malls, shops and cafes nearby. At the same time the hotel is situated a little inside and distantly from the noisy roads, so its a quiet place. And a small bonus - parrots on the trees which surround the building.What I really liked about Magrath is the new modern interior of the room and the washroom. The bed and the pillows were extremely comfortable. The room was spacious.The washroom has almost everything you need. There was no hair dryer though, but it was given on request. The only thing which I couldnt understand was why there were only 2 bath towels for two guests in a 4* star hotel. Two small extra towels were given after I asked for the same, but after room cleaning they vanished again and again we got two bath towels. I believe that there should have been at least 3-4 towels per person.Just to inform those who prefer to take a bath, there is only a shower cubicle, maybe its like this only in standard rooms, Im not aware. But for me it was absolutely OK.I liked the terrace with a swimming pool and restaurant on it where they serve breakfast which spread was OK for a foreigner.

Nice well maintained property. Clean & comfortable rooms. Breakfast isnt very elaborate but should satisfy most peoples tastes and needs. Staff are responsive. Location is also quite central. It suits serves me quite adequately for my business trips.

Staff not good. Even the security guard misguided us about the place when we asked him where is the dining area..he didnt know and he directed us to the hotel across the street.The dining area was booked for a personal party and the receptionist didnt even bother to inform us about that when we asked him about the where dining place was.Mismanaged staff people.

Its a nice hotel, very centrally located in Bangalore. The hotel has a nice colonial feel to it, owing to the structure. Looks like its a really old heritage hotel.We went here for a party in one of the ballrooms. The hotel is nice. The lobby area pretty clean, the toilets well maintained. The Bar was also nicely managed by the staff. Overall the service was also great, the staff was pretty prompt too.Among other things We loved the food served at the party. They served continental and chinese delicacies including fish, chicken and lamb. I must say the preparations were all good. I specifically loved the fish with Garlic Butter sauce. The desserts were tasty too, esepcially the apple crumble. I cant say about the rooms though coz we dint stay here. But I would definitely recommend this place for food and party.

The hotel is situated very close to brigade road. Just a 2 mins walk from brigade road. The hotel looks very normal from the outside but me the rooms are 5 star equivalent. It has all the amenities in the room. The hotel also has a terrace pool which is great you have a great view of the city from here. You can enjoy your evening drinks and dinner by the pool. The food is also great well they do not have a buffet options u need to go for the alacarte menu.

Visited it for an event. In prime location, easy to find, just on the main road, place is clean and very well maintained. The greenery inside gives a good feel. Staffs are good and helpful. Parking space is available.

I like the ambience of this hotel. Especially when I photograph a wedding. The food is tasty and the ambience good. Polite service makes you feel comfortable. The hotel is also located in the heart of the city very near Brigade road, its also close to Garuda mall. Overall a great experience.

Marvelous. A beauty. I have never stayed at such a lavish hostel. From the entrance to the rooms and the interior designing, even the carpets, everything is beautiful. Room service is brilliant and the food is awesome along with its presentation. You will definitely enjoy your time here.

Conference rooms are spacious and the staff are accommodative. Hallway decor with mirrors is neat and is genius.Food, buffet is well curated on a daily basis. The pool in the Terrace is extremely eye catching.
