They do have a great collection of lenses. Prime, telephoto, extenders, APS-C and full-frame bodies. They have an average pricing scheme. Given the amount of options they offer, the expense is relatively warranted.They do give you bags and carries for the equipment you rent out too. When you rent out bodies, they give you a 16/32 GB SD card too depending on the sensor.Youll need to deposit one of your IDs that will be returned when you return the equipment. Youll also need to be registered on their website to be able to rent. Overall, pretty good.

Lens booking process is easy.Home delivery and the home delivery person is also comfortable.But the lens looks old and *heavily* used. i tried three lens totally all are in same quality but photos are coming well. I dont know about other vendors quality.

Tapprs is really nice , they are a bit old school but considering the price and the registration fee I would highly suggest Tapprs , I ordered a Tamron 150-600 mm some months back it was an old one and had issue with the focus but experience was overall good

I recently tried out Tapprs. What a service!!! Its absolutely an ease to register and get the KYC done. A meagre amount as deposit which was a surprise for me since I have only seen 3 - 4 digit deposits from rest. Plus they have a dedicated delivery within the radius of their operation at a nominal cost and this cost can be paid along with the rental fee making it all easy for a customer. They have a decent collection and am sure they will upgrade on regular basis. They have a beautiful feedback system which clearly shows their intent to stay in the market and be successful. I wish the team all the best and wish to remain a Tapprs permanent customer.

I have rented a lens for my canon camera. It worked perfectly without any issues. The whole process of booking the equipment, payment handling, handover procedure were simply awesome. Pain in the neck to just register.I understand that you have mentioned in your FAQ, but this feedback is just as per my preview on the process.Now inspite of providing you guys all the documents as per your requirement, I got a call stating that my resignation fee would be refund and cannot be processed from the backend.Im pretty surprised to here that. Not sure what exactly the reason for the deny of my registration.

As always a great place to rent lenses. Clean and near equipment at reasonable prices, not cheap though.They seem to be keen on hiding themselves though because it took quite some time to reach them even though I spent ten minutes in their vicinity searching for them!

Have used their products thrice, they have very good pick up drop service and of course its chargeable. The equipment conditions are good. Their executives are very polite and well versed in answering your queries. Only downside is you need to book the equipments well in advance specially the more popular ones. It may not cater your urgent needs.

I rented a Tokina 11-16mm wide angle lens and a B+W Kaesemann CPL filter from Tapprs. I called them a few times for my queries before renting the equipment. Their support on call was very good and they answered all my queries. The items were delivered to my home on time. Both the lens and filter were in excellent condition and provided great results while shooting. The return pickup was also timely.Overall, a great experience!

This was the first time, i was renting a Lens. I was not really expecting such good service and support but Tapprs really did a fantastic job. The lens was in good condition. The support provided during renting and returning process was also good. Thanks to the pick up and delivery team for being on time.

Could be a brilliant company but unfortunately they are so afraid that you could steal their equipments they require you to provide a PAN number and a Indian bank account. They even do not accept cash payment, like some other companies who seem to be more business oriented. So, it means as a foreigner even with brilliant credentials, you can not do business with them. Want to improve? Accept international (and I mean international) credit cards and reserve a deposit like all other rental companies. No need for PAN, provision of residence proof, letter from the Vatikan or recommendation from Mr. Modi. Easy ! I mean, Bangalore is a 9 million city with major investments from international companies but sometimes you get the impression it is the deepest province. Sorry, but this time I had to express this finally. Good luck to you Tapprs. Sorry to the nice lady who took my steam. You seem to be a good company - unfortunately for foreigners with some flaws.

I have rented 2 lenses (wide angle and Prime f1.4) I used these lenses for my Nikon D5300. Lenses were perfect and excellent. Service was also excellent & professional attitude by Tapprs staff. Tedious registration process, requiring particular documents like electricity/water bill for proof of address and identity. I get their intention, not wanting to loose their rental gear to strangers without any way to track them down, but their method for doing the same seems very outdated.And another observation I made was, the staff arent very friendly or helpful, not outright rude or arrogant persay but it ends up seeming so. Makes any customer think twice about coming back to such a place.

Ive rented lenses from Tapprs on two occasions. The rental prices are a bit expensive and sometimes the lenses you require may not be available. However, their service is good. They even do a pick up and delivery of accessories (at an additional cost).Make sure you enquire about the availability of the accessories before you place the order.Overall, Im happy with Tapprs.

Very bad place, if u dont know what is the price of some equipment when u renting it , never ask the lady who sits in there office reception , I had rented equipment for one day any they charged me for two days , feeling cheated

I have used Tapprs to rent lenses and accessories and I have always been delighted by the quality of their products and the promptness, professionalism and courteousness of their staff.

The staff is very hostile and will not even listen to what you have to say but will choose to blame you if the GoPros or any of the other equipment dont work. Dont waste your time here. There are tons of other places that offer the same service in a much better way. (Atleast the staff wont look like theyre trying to claw your face out in other places)

Good first experience renting lens from them. Only suggestion to them is to expand their delivery/pickup areas. They can charge based on zones, restrict zones mean less business.

3 times I have rented with these guys and the collection & experience has been good UNTILL I had to rent it on a Saturday for a wedding assignment. These guys have the strangest policy of charging their customers double their usual per day rental amount just because they dont work on Sundays. So either pickup on Saturday and deliver it by Saturday evening 6pm or else Monday morning and get charged for an extra day as well even if its of absolutely no use to you on a Sunday. I MEAN THIS IS SIMPLY PATHETIC & ABSURD ! How should it matter to the client if you dont work on a Sunday thats your lookout. Your clients are from an industry whos shoot schedule is never the same and can be mostly on weekends, so as a service provider you need to be flexible to accommodate to our needs. Atleast keep a staff a two to just collect the equipment.
