Many Montessori schools which claim to follow Montessori method are really inspired by it while mixing rote learning with Montessori materials. Flomont is an authentic Montessori school where you would find children learning at their own pace, unhurried in a calm and peaceful environment. Here teachers are the real facilitators of learning while children direct their own learning process. First thing you would notice in Flomont is the positive atmosphere, smiling faces everywhere. On the first day when our son A refused to enter the school, the teacher who greeted him asked if he would like to jump on the trampoline or go to the class directly. He obviously chose to play for a few minutes, unwind himself before going to the class. What could have been otherwise a tearful day became a happy one because of the choice he got. Its only this year we have enrolled A in lower elementary in Flomont but it is the best thing we did for him. We have been looking for a school where hed remain curious and retain his interest in self learning even after all the schooling. We believe that a positive atmosphere in school is most important for a child to flourish, to bring out his natural talents and we are so glad that we chose Flomont. We would highly recommend Flomont World School to everyone.

Authentic Montessori Education for little ones.

My experience with Flomont was pathetic. I admitted my child here believing their glossy marketing. Shocked to know the fundamentals were missing . This is a mere hyped play home for kids. Very insensitive management, more money minded . Only school i know in Bangalore who collect non-refundable pre-admission fees every year for existing students ! They doubt their own ability to retain students. Worst part is parents are not allowed to interact with teachers directly. One meeting in a month was allowed in the name of PTM and that was under the watchful eyes of the headmistress!. Extreme lack of trust from management on both teachers and parents. Moved my child from this unprofessional place.

Seems like the best we did for our little one. He started when he was 1.5 years and we love the school, teachers and way they teach. Highly recommend!

Very good school, good Montessori certified staff and Principal also very kind, polite, listen to parents. They have complete Montessori materials to nurture child. I would definitely recommended to everyone.

September 5th 2018 - TEACHERS DAYIm editing my review jus to quote an incident.. A product is best reviewed by the person who has experienced it. This is one such incident, which proved yet again that FLOMONT WORLD SCHOOL was most definitely the right choice for my daughter.We were at a furniture expo n a real busy evening. A girl was sitting near one of the stall, waiting for her parents to finish their shopping. As my daughter A was also sitting there, the kids started talking to keep each other engaged n thus was the conversation.D - Hi, whats your name??A - Im A. Whats your name??D - Im D. Which class are you studying in??A - Im in 2nd std, thats lower elementary in my school. N u??D - hey, Im in 2nd std too... Which section??A - no sections in my school..D - which school??A - Im in FLOMONT WORLD SCHOOL. n u??Next sentence that came from the child was both shocking n a selfish relief..D - Im in BCGHS... I hate my school..A - Really... BUT I LOOOVVEE MY SCHOOL !!!!!D - what ???? you love your school??? I hate mine..A - y do you hate it??D - there is Soo much to study.. no fun...The teachers jus go on n on n on n they dont stop even when the bell rings.. n Soo much of homework.. I jus hate it...PROUD A - but I jus love my school.. its a Montessori School.. its Soo much fun.. my teachers are Soo good...D - really?? I dont even know what Montessori is..Then her parents come n the kids part ways.. n my daughter tell me... Mamma Im Soo lucky.. I dont hate my school.. I love my teachers n I love my school.I could have posted this earlier.. but I wanted to share this on the Teachers Day.. all that I have to say is THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!This is not just another review, but an open letter to fellow parents.My daughter was homeschooled until 6 and choosing a school for her was a huge challenge for us. We were never bothered about the rat race and numbers. For us it was going to be the foundation for her character. Hours and hours of browsing, made me realize that YES, Montessori method was the right way ahead. Then the question was, which one?? Though I had shortlisted a few, Flomont was the first school I visited. And after my personal meeting with the Principal n Founder Ms. Shahista Ismail, I had sealed my decision.She patiently explained to me what Montessori method of teaching was all about, heard my apprehensions and cleared them too. And then took me around for the school tour. Each and every material used was kid friendly, non toxic, soo clean n organised. I never even stepped into another school as I was completely convinced that this was the best that I could give to our daughter.She was enrolled in Lower elementary grade. And a year has passed. Im astonished as no repetitive tasks and imposition were ever given and still she knows all that she needs to know. Be it English, maths or language. The teachers are soo patient and not once have I seen her Maam, Ms.Puja or any other teacher of Flomont team address the kids as students, for its always our children. They have their own way to register the knowledge in the ever active minds of these kids and they seem to enjoy each day at school . Never did I know learning was soo much fun. The education does not stop jus at these subjects, they have culture class were they learn grace, poise, respect, empathy which is soo important in todays world were its jus about competition and numbers. They also enjoy music and sports classes alternate days.Overall we are happy and content that we had taken the right decision for our daughter, cause education is not just letters n numbers but building a strong confident supportive empathetic individual too..
