One of my favourite online store for electronics for hobby and work apart from thingbits and robu.in, they have a good collection of all basic learning kits to advance engineering kits spanning the entire spectrum from Arduino to advance development n testing kits. they also offer ham radios and required accessories from small SDRs to HackOne RF. One good thing is that they are able to stock n supply hard to find items and kits thats a boon for Indian students and hobbyist at a reasonable price. I was looking for a similar supplier for long and luckily many Indian companies and startup are now setting up online shops that are doing the same, fabtolab stands out in the crowd with their dedicated staff who are always there to help with all the queries,though its not always helpful...once they send me a wrong antenna cuz there was no one to check whether the description of the item on the website and the item they supplied is same or different..i tried to tell them that there was some mistake on their part but neither they acknowledge or they ever sent me the right part...thats the only thing that i have against them... Something like this once happened with radiojitter guys but they were quite friendly in accepting their mistake, arranging the pickup and the timily refund.

Having grown up with trips to SP Road and spending money on electronic component build outs, buying from FabtoLab has been a refreshing positive shift. One of the slightly expensive components I had purchased turned out to be a lemon. The gentleman (Mr. X, to prevent him from getting flooded with pings) was exactly that. Calm, on time, understanding of the customers pain and balanced. I was so relieved when I got a lower costing component that I asked them not to refund any balance. After an hour, I am told I have been given a refund of the difference. What can I say?

Have been a fabtolab customer since 2 years. Havent faced any sort of problem before whatsoever. This year needed to get one of the soc board replaced under warranty. No hassle there too but was delayed just because of the worldwide lockdown due to the disease pandemic. Bad experience. On their website, everything was shown in stock while placing the order on 6th June. Also, before placing the order I asked if they had started shipping due to lockdown. Even then they updated the status as Shipment Delayed. When inquired, got answer that there is a custom delay & the products will be shipped on or before 16-17 June. When asked again on 17th, they said it will be shipped on or before 24-25 June. Its 27 June & I am still following up for my order. Sale of walkie talkie are in violation of the rules Indian Wireless Telegraph act. Sale of such equipment need to acquire a Dealers Possession Licence from WPC. This store listed many such items for sale.... They can be misused to listen to confidential wireless conversations......WPC should act and curb selling these equipments immediately.

Stay away from fabtolab....I ordered two SDR from sdrplay-UK under educators programme. They offered me 20% discount.Due to covid19 and postal ban, they requested their reseller fabtolab to supply said items with 20% discount(same will be compensated by them).After few days, before giving quote to me fabtolab increased prices of abovesaid SDRs in their website. The most unprofessional set up ever!! Got my items 1.5 months later and everytime I had to follow up on the status !! The nail on the coffin was that I finally scheduled a pick up for my stuff (to avoid delays from their end) and they still managed to not handover the entire purchase !! Been a customer of Fab to Lab for a long time. But this time, you guys have let me down. Have ordered 4 SDRs, more than 3 months back, only one SDR got delivered and remaining are not delivered yet. You guys dont even have courtesy to call or mail the customer and the say the reason for delivery delays. even when we call, you guyz are not responding properly. You people are telling the same reason that SDR has got stuck in customs for past 3 months. Then why cant you try to get it from other place or just cancel the order and return my money. Not even a single call or mail i got from you guys about the delays. Really a bad experience and wont recommend it to my friends or family. Would have given a negative star rating if theres an option.

I brought a 12 volt battery. Its not working. Brought a couple of LEDs. Not working. My advise to owner/staff - kindly check your inventory properly and dont sell non-functional items to customers. Also the website, its not user friendly.

Horrible experience! They push older versions of board that has bugs even when new versions are available. When questioned, they deny the existence of newer version and after providing proof, say that new version is not on sale. They seem extremely agitated when a return request is raised and try all means to avoid responsibility of selling the product. Another scam is to display images of newer versions but send out old versions. Avoid this place even if there is a remote chance these SBCs might have bugs.
