A simple hospital for treatment of almost all eye complaints. A relative of mine had eye surgery (cataract) done here in April 2021, was discharged the same day. A followup visit was required the next day - even though it was a Sunday she was attended to by the Doctors present.Rating -Doctors 5/5,Facilities 3/5,Overall 4/5

Trust me and save your hard earned money . truly recommending this GOVT.hospital, remove all your negative thoughts about govt. hospital because MINTO MAKE WONDERS.as far as ive seen this hospital is best-suited for all eye disorders & problems. and this is my perception about the hospital. My mother underwent cataract and laser surgery . all the doctors, junior ophthalmologists and other staff are polite, humble & compassionate. They treat every patient equally irrespective of their age, caste, religion . food quality is also good. My self and my son visited the hospital for getting our eyes tested. Being a government hospital there was huge crowd. We got our self registered after waiting in the queue for one and half hours, by paying rs 40 each. Rs 10 for the card and rs 30 for refraction test. I was directed to refraction test which was conducted by a student and was counter checked by the refractionist. They exactly took just 10 seconds for the test and gave the Optical prescription. Was then asked to see the doctor for approval. The doctor with a torch light directed to my eyes even before I sat on the stool and wrote on the slip to go to room 3 which was the cash counter. There was no verbal communication of any sort and I had no chance of telling my problem. The whole exercise took just four seconds.Since room 3 is the cash counter I got confused and asked her junior doctor. He said it is for paying for refraction test and since refraction was already done, he counter signed the prescription and asked me to get the required spects. The story doesnt end there. The Optical prescription indicated +3 for both eyes for near vision. As I know it was not correct, I visited Lions eye hospital for consultation after a few daysTheir prescription was it is N6 for both eyes for near vision and no need for spects. This is the way this Hospital works

I visited this eye hospital on 10/11/2017 to get my retina checked on regular basis. Doctors of the hospital are good but their technical assistants for eye power measurement are totally unfit for the work. On that day in room no 13 the technical assistant has set totally erroneous power for me. I suppose, all those technicians should immediately be removed from their assignment to save the human eye. It was a horrible experience.

We went there for our railway medical. We had our scanned report, we took our tocken, we kept queue. But, after 2 hours of queue and 1 full day of running from one room to another, the doctor shooed us away with no reason at all. It would take only 30seconds to sign on our papers. But he made us wait after every1 else behind our queuenis done. His attitude is very rude. Dr.sreenivasan! I wonder how even he became a doctor. Had to wait whole day for a 30 seconds sign.

Worst experience....staff and doctors like to show off how patients are helpless in front of them. Was there to request for a physically disabled certificate for a person who turned blind due to medical reasons. And they made both the patient and accompanying person to run from one doctor to another the whole day from morning till evening. Three doctors needed to sign the certificate and they just straightforwardly told they dont have time to listen to the patient’s story and cannot sign! Well indeed have some etiquettes and respect towards your fellow human beings! Nothing can be worst than this. I dont recommend anyone ever to visit this hospital.
