We met Sunder sir for my mother in laws vericosis veins problem, she was in stage 4 and doctor suggested us to do the laser treatment immediately since the leg was badly affected, the treatment was done and doctor was really helping us with all the information that we required, post the laser treatment doctor suggested us to put bandage for few days to get the outer wound to be healed, here we faced the problem with mr Basil, Sunder sir will give Basil how a bandage has to be tied but it was not done professionally by mr. Basil the culprit, later after 7 bandage the outer wound was not healed so sunder sir asked us to meet dr Vanitha Mathew for the outer wound, when we visited Vanitha Mathew she informed that they were putting wrong bandage and she preferred us some cream and lotion to get it healed, now both the vericosis veins and the outer wound are healed thanks to doctor Sunder Narasimhan a lot.Cons : apart from sunder Narasimhan sir no one in the department seems to be professional, so if you have taken appointment to meet sunder Narasimhan please meet him directly and dont meet any of his juniors. My father, Jagdeep Singh, has been a lymphedema patient for more than 10 years. He had severe infection in his left lower limb with ulcers and water oozing out. Let me elaborate by problem in detail so that the patients/ reviewer / general public may be aware of what had happened to me and how Dr. Sunder sir and his team saved my life. Last week 13th Sep morning I had severe pain between my left thigh and testicle and it the entire left leg was swollen badly. I consulted few of the local doctors and took medication till 17th Morning. Then I decided to go for a better hospital and approached Apollo emergency and the Doctors / Nurses after seeing my condition referred to Mr. Sunder Narasimhan. By the way I walked into his consultation room he found what kind of problem / disease I am facing. He asked me to remove my dress and asked me to explain where is the pain. He had scanned my left thigh and the testicle and shown me the blood clot . He also explained if it is not treated what will be the affects. He also explained me that if it is not treated immediately it will block my lungs and heart which is threat to my life. He also found the disease / problem is a DVT ( Deep vein Thrombolysis)He treated me for 2 days by placing IVC filter under MAC in order not to spread the blood clot. On the left leg Dr. Team has made a whole with the help of anesthesia and a catheter is placed on my left leg to perform the treatment. Post that the blood clot is sucked out with the help of catheter and I was discharged on 21st Night. Today i.e 23rd I had a review with Dr. Sunder sir. You never know whats around the corner in life.When my husband first experienced discomfort around his left knee we consulted an orthopedic who diagnosed it as Tendon damage. In spite of taking medicines over 3 weeks the symptoms only continued while the orthopedic continued to reassure us and slowly the pain rose up the leg.So looking for a second opinion we went to Apollo where Neurosurgeon Dr.Vikram Kamath kindly referred us immediately to Dr. Sunder Narasimhan. Dr.Sunder was very quick and thorough in his diagnosis - acute left lower limb iliofemoral Deep Vein Thrombosis. Due to our delay in seeking the second opinion the vein was clotted significantly and there was a significant risk of pulmonary embolism. As you can see this was an unexpected turn and we were mentally unprepared for this situation.Dr.Sunder explained what can be done and I must say, never have I appreciated how much responsibility doctors carry than in this situation, faced with panicked family of the patients. All of us at some point in our life under pressure have sugarcoated our responses and failed to deliver.This was a very high stakes situation for us so you can imagine the pressure any doctor can feel while facing us. So I really appreciate that Dr.Sunder was very realistic in setting our expectations without sugarcoating things. Dr.Sunder also immediately got his team aligned towards a surgery the very next day.The procedure planned was Thrombolysis-peripheral Angioplasty regular. Dr.Sunders team Dr.Basil, Dr.Manju, Dr.Venu ,Dr.Jijo were very efficient,available and helpful in getting us admitted and guiding us through the next steps in readiness for the surgery.Dr.Sunder also dropped in once we were in ward that night to go over the complete procedure and the risks involved - what actions/testing was being done to try to de-risk this including the filter insertion and CT to confirm no presence of aneurysms etc. Dr.Sunder was very patient in answering all our queries. I was very relieved to see his clarity of thought and the confidence in the way he explained.The procedure took place the next day and Dr.Sunder was very detail-oriented and even invited us in once the procedure was complete to show on the screen the veins so we knew what had been done.We were moved to ICU then with 24 hours of anticoagulants drip to ensure the clots can dissolve. After 24 hours there was another round of the thrombolysis procedure and fortunately we did not need further 24 hours so we were moved to a ward and discharged after a day.We have now been for follow-up a couple of times over the weeks since the operation and every time Dr.Sunder has been very diligent in his examination and instructions. During these interactions I have come to see his passion for his profession and in delivering the best possible outcomes for his patients. You can read the other reviews here and see a consistent theme of improved quality of life post treatment and I can tell you within 2 weeks of surgery my husband has been able to walk without discomfort , with the symptoms well on their way out. This more than anything speaks for itself and demonstrates the excellent course of treatment we received due to Dr.Sunders commitment to his patients.Since the operation, having read up on this procedure I came across papers published in 2017 detailing this thrombolysis procedure. It goes to show that doctors sharpening their skills continually can offer us the best treatment alternatives. My mother wet through a successful surgery under Dr Sundar. Post surgery experience was very bad. Only his assistance would come to check the patient. Discharge was given but while leaving the hospital, it started bleeding from the place of surgery. When nurse called the assistance doctor, he asked to do the bandage and sent the patient. As bleeding was hevy, we told that we are not leaving untill doctor comes. Then all doctor came with Dr Sundar sir and Dr sunder was very angry with his assistant for giving discharge in tht condition. We had to over stay tht night in the hospital for observation. SeshadriDr. Sunder Narasimhan Sir, DOCTOR-PAR-EXCELLENCE, THANK YOU very much from the bottom of my heart for the treatment given by you and your team with regards to saving my leg from getting amputated from diabetes.I had gangrene in my left foot and had a toe amputation at another premiere hospital in Bangalore, but the condition worsened after the toe amputation and my left leg had become black completely and the infection had spread to my knee.I went to another reputed hospital and there also the doctor said that the leg has to be amputated at least up till knee.Somehow I was not convinced and I went to Apollo Hospital to meet Dr. Dwarkanath, and he asked me to meet Dr. Sunder Narasimhan and I believe the good thing started from there.After consultation with Dr. Sunder Narasimhan and his team, we decided to go ahead with the operation. He assured me that he would in all the possibility do amputation of only toes (even though the situation of leg was very bad) and not the knee.The infection was spreading by the time we met the doctor. The doctor immediately did an angiogram and did put a stent which restored the flow of blood. I am telling this from the bottom of my heart, who saved my fathers leg from getting amputated and saved his life.It was in Mid May 2021 that my father had complained about severe pain in his right leg, and we had to rush him to reputed hospital, which is very close to our place in GM Palya, where the doctor said he must do the Angiogram to check the severity During the surgery the doctor could blast the blockage in the middle artery, however, he could not do the remaining two core arteries , he had ruled it out as highly impossible and said the blood flow is very less and may have to wait and watch and if this worsens, he had recommended amputating the leg. Post-Surgery my dad had to go on all sorts of complications such as low BP and had to be in ICU and eventually had caught up with Delirium. After two weeks the doctor amputated his little toe, however, the wound did not heal even after three weeks of amputation, since the blood flow was very less, the doctor said that we will have to amputate his leg and said if we do his life is at risk after the surgery as his other vital parameters are very poor. We were literally shocked and had to rush lookup for second opinion.I started looking at alternatives on google and found Dr. Sunder Narasimhan at Apollo Bannergatta Bangalore, with some amazing and astonishing reviews of how he had rescued and recovered complicated cases like my fathers. I had called him immediately the moment we were told that his right leg had to be amputated. This enabled them to do the surgery immediately without waiting to look for controlling vital parameters such has Sugar, Creatine...etc.July 13th Tuesday in the morning at around 5 AM, my mother called him back who was the attendee for my father and told me the Surgery proceeding will start at 6 AM and they may start the actual surgery by 8 AM, I was really surprised as in Manipal they nearly took two days with various tests and multiple consultant visits to my father’s ward before controlling and doing the surgery.Dr. Sunder Narasimhan is very talented, highly knowledgeable, and has a fellowship in the field of Vascular Surgery, I see him never giving up till things get sorted. When we took for surgery, he had found the blockage was too heavy and was impossible with forward Angiography, he went the reverse way and got all my father’s artery cleared and showed me how he did, I bet none in the city and few in the country would be able to do that. My Father blood flow is absolutely in full, unfortunately less than 1/3 of his feet around has been amputated due to the delay that we had to undergo. However, the healing is in progress and is healing up very well. Post-surgery as Dr Sunder Narasimhan and his team know all the best techniques and processes of making the wound heal fast such as putting in the Vacuum healing process and getting them dressed up in the right way has enabled my father to get into the healing phase quicker.I strongly recommend anyone who has Vascular issues to consult Dr. Sunder Narasimhan, he is the best in the field. I used to get pain and spasms in my legs on walking one block but relieved with rest. I thought maybe due to electrolyte imbalance,but that was normal and my B12 was also normal. Had varicose veins, more pronounced in the left leg, which during the last month started leading to an ulcer. Found Dr. Sundar Narasimhan, Apollo Hospitals when searching for options and met him. The issue needed immediate attention and though I was a little apprehensive about getting it done during the pandemic, the Doctor was very reassuring and a couple of days later underwent bilateral EVLT (Endovascular Laser Treatment). Was able to start walking, later the very same day and was discharged the next morning. Have had no issues post the procedure and am highly grateful to Dr. Sundar Narasimhan and his team.

Dr. Sundar and team at Apollo Bannerghatta took excellent care of my mother for her left Subclavian stenting in March 2021. Not only was the procedure very smooth, his clear explanations and very focused attention and care helped my mother relax before and after the procedure.

My son sanjay Kurup, aged 35 . We had come to know about Dr. Sunder from another Dr. from one of the renowned hospitals of Banglore. My son had developed DVT post covid 19 this April, and so an IVF filter was placed in order to restrict the clot from creating more complications. They tried several thechneques to remove it, and finally after a lot of struggle the Dr. Was able to remove it, without causing any internal injuries, The entire procedure was carried out with local anaesthesia, and with minimal invasion and pain. We still believe that Had it been any other Dr. The IVF wouldnt have removed in a manner how Dr. Sunder Narasimhan, did it .One thing we learnt from this experience of our is,.once a Dr. Portrays his confidence, and regains a patients lost confidence ,there is nothing to be worried about. I was having deep vein thrombosis. When I visited Dr sunder he suggested that I should go under surgery only then my problem will be cured. I had right IJV percutaneous access taken under USG guidance and IVC Venogram done which showed IVC infrarenal IVC filter insertions done , thrombosis of left SFV, CFV and Iliac vein catheter directed thrombolisis and thrombus aspiration done and residual stenosis with 16mm high pressure balloon which results were shown as completion of angiogram showed good flows in left Lower limbs.He is probably the best doctor I have visited since I have been facing this issue. Many doctors suggested different things but Im lucky enough to have visited him at the right time. I recommend everyone who is going through this issue to visit him for he is the best doctor as there were many who scared me but he diagnosed me and did the right thing at right time. I was admitted on emergency basis when my left leg Swollen and I was later that day diagnosed with DVT.The doctors at Apollo gave me two options -- Dissolve the clots using oral blood thinners or a small surgical procedure called Thrombolysis, where a probe would be inserted in my left thigh to dissolve the clot and Aspirate it; The choice I was told would be my own!As with most individuals the thought of surgery was not my natural choice and quite honestly I wanted to avoid it altogether; My skeptisim was conveyed to the doctors and acceptedThen walked in Dr. Sunder NarasimhanHe explained to me the the two options once again and clearly listed out the pros and cons of each option. He firmly stated that it would be unwise to not opt for surgery, especially when there are gold standard procedures that are available to us in today’s advanced medical world.With all the back and forth and my numerous questions on my side, the doctor was firm about his preference and medical advice. Worst doctor ! My mother was a 5 th stage CKD patient . We had to take vascular opinion for av fistula of arm. He said fistula surgery is possible without taking Doppler scan.We took two more opinions,Doppler scan of both her arms was negative as her veins were too tiny, so how could he suggest av fistula surgery when its not possible,my mother would have been tortured with pain or infections! We have taken my father in law for severe stomach pain and diagnosed as Superior mesenteric artery Dissection, this was required immediate treatment and angioplasty with stunt. I would always be grateful to Dr.Sunder Narasimhan for the kind of treatment he has given to my father which in all aspects helped my father come out of a serious condition of Diabetic Foot.It was on Sept 27 2019 that we first consulted Dr.Sunder Narasimhan at Apollo Hospitals Bannergatta road. My father was suffering from Dry Gangrene and the infection was spreading fast from his toes to his legs. He is diabetic and 62 yrs old. As soon as the doctor examined his legs,he was sure of the disease and suggested for an Angiogram. We got it done and the reports showed up to be disappointing, the blood flow in his legs was very thin.This had to be corrected before treating the Gangrene.Dr.Sunder Narasimhan and his Team suggested that stent placement can be done,but due to heavy deposits in the arteries present in thigh region this procedure was unsuccessful.We were heartbroken and this is when the doctor went ahead with a Bypass surgery for the legs. This procedure was conducted on Oct 3 2019 and it went on for 9 hours.We trusted the doctors and we were not wrong in doing so.The operation was successful and the blood flow showed up to be normal.This gave us more hope on his recovery.Slowly he was strong enough to walk on his legs and then there was still this infection in his legs that we had to deal with.On 10th Oct 2019 my father was discharged for a week.21st Oct 2019 , we got admitted in the hospital for his Toe Amputation process. On 22nd the operation was performed. One toe from each leg was amputed. For 3 days he was kept under observation.Since the infection had spread to one more toe , even that was amputed on 31st Oct 2019.All through this process the whole team of Dr.Sunder Narasimhan was very supporting and hopeful which helped our family to survive such dreadful situation. For another one month, till Nov 18th 2019 ,my father was admitted for post operation recovery. After final discharge, when my father was healing, we were asked to visit the doctor on alternate days for dressing procedure for 4 months till 11th March 2020.His legs were slowly recovering with continuous dressing and antibiotic course. Dr. Sunder Narasimhan had treated and operated my mother who was ailing with an arterio-venous malformation in her right thumb. For 3 years she was suffering from unexplained and spontaneous bleeding in the right thumb, accompanied by a pinkish lesion and pain. Dr Sundar Narasimhan is experienced and expert doctor. We went to him for our mother. AV Fistula was arranged to her in tirupati by a Nephrologist. 1 month after that, the doctor there said it failed and he will do it to the right hand. We were worried if it is done to her right hand she will not be able to do her work. We searched online and found Dr Narasimhan with good rating and good reviews from patients. We approached Dr. Sunder Narasimhan at Apollo Hospitals Bannerghatta Road when my husband was undergoing treatment for gangrenous digit in his left foot. As per other Doctors opinion, my husbands left leg was to be amputated below knee. When we approached Dr. Narsimhan for his opinion, since gangrene was more due to arterial blockage in his leg, Dr. Narasimhan suggested doing an angio to ensure proper blood circulation and possible saving his leg from amputation.We had no choice but to agree for this & Dr. Narasimhan undertook the arduous task. Since, the blockages were complicated, Dr. Narasimhan had to summon all his experience and skills to successfully complete the procedure.My husband undergoes dialysis thrice a week and he also suffers from rare variant of heamophilia - factor 13 deficiency. I had an AVM (ArteroVenous Malformation) problem in my lower back and I approached Dr Sunder based on the google reviews. Dr Sunder and his team (Dr Manju Bharath, Dr Lijo and Dr Basil) from the first visit carried out scans, confirmed the AVM and suggested for coil embolisation as the first procedure and surgical removal of the wound as the second part of the diagnosis. The embolisation procedure was carried to block the artery which was the root cause of the AVM. After a weak gap, the doctors suggested to remove the wound as it was of discomfort. The surgery was performed to remove the wound completely from the body. I sincerely appreciate the treatment and care the team led by Dr Sunder took in my case during this unprecedented pandemic crisis. The post surgery care is also much appreciable with frequent dressing care for monitoring the recovery.

Dr.Sunder Narasimhan has successfully been able to relieve the pain in the case of my wife who had developed DVT in her lower left leg.She could not stand or walk properly due to the acute pain. Hi Everyone, here is my story,:-I am was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease at the age of 3 and started Dialysis at the age of 10. Now i completed my 17 years of Dialysis.Due to long term Dialysis my AV Fistula started giving lot of problems on the year 2016 as i am using the same fistula for Dialysis.I met Dr. Sunder on 2017 as i came to know he was best in his field.Till now i underwent 6 AV Fistuloplastys(Removing Blood Clots).My case was so complicated and i was forced to undergo Cadavar Kidney Transplant, but due to Covid crisis i am not able to undergo the transplant.Keeping the situation in mind Dr.Sunder created a new AV Fistula on the other arm which was a very complicated procedure as my veins were not matured enough as i am suffering from a CKD from a very young age.According to my Observations Dr.Sunder is very talented and loves his profession to the core. We need such doctors to bring back the faith in medical science.My wife had a minor fall while walking and got an artery blockage near her knee due to a clot.MRI of the knee was done and we met Dr Sunder Narasimhan for consultation as we were referred by our orthopedic to see a vascular surgeon. Dr Sunder Narasimhan noticed the critical situation of her knee, immediately explained to me and took the decision for a bypass surgery. Since, we did not have an idea of the complexity of the injury (caused by just a minor stumble while walking) and due to the different estimates of the surgery expenses given by the insurance department and billing, we were in a dilemma to go for the bypass surgery at that point of time.
