I m shocked to read the reviews, I thought Im the one having problems with towness. They still didnt delivered my products. No information to the customers. None of the phone numbers is working. Towness app is down. What do we call them cheaters big time.

I placed the order and money is deducted but absolutely no info on the order and still not delivered. All the phone numbers in the website are not valid anymore.Looks like they have closed down. Please do not fall into trap

I have made payment for the order #275440 on 28th August 2021 and this delivery was scheduled for 29th August 2021. I am yet to receive any information or delivery from Towness. This has happened before as well. They tend to be very irresponsible towards customers. They do not have the right intent and have weak delivery infrastructure. Such establishments should be ashamed of their representatives behavior and even after multiple emails we havent received any update. Shame!!!

How a giant falls!! Thats the story of Towness. From being ACE they have made use jokers :|Customer care doesnt exist. Nobody knows IF and WHEN the products will be delivered!!And they are shutdown now. No notice. My money pooof with them!

I have been their customer since last 8 years , they used to have very good quality products and great customer service but recently their service has become pathetic. Very sorry state of affairs

No delivery of order placed on 5 July. Delivery date was 6 July - no sms, no delivery. Sent them msgs and there was no response. Called all the numbers of their I had - the calls didnt go through. Sent an email and then a day later there was a curt response - your delivery will be made on Friday. Come Friday, again no delivery. Sent an email asking for a refund. Since then no response. Looks like the company has closed down and they have absconded.Very disappointing since I was a customer for many years now

Late again!!We should have known since this has happened with our last order as well which we had to cancel.No one has called us till now to inform us about the delay or the possible time to expect the order if at all.Even under lockdown conditions other supiers are either alert enough to inform the customer proactively or not accept the order at all.No one seems to be at the recieving end of their listed contacts or WA number.So theres absolutely no way to track your orders.

Service is deteriorated exponentially during past 3 years. (1) Their delivery is from 4am - noon. BUt they hardly deliver before noon. (2) They never provide contact info of the delivery person. So there is no way to know if/when delivery is going to happen (3) When you try to contact the main office and numbers listed under contacts on their website, no one every picks up. Never respond on WhatsApp. (4) Their billing is fishy. They hide packaging costs (about 0.5%) under refundable packaging but these are normal brown packts or plastic ones. Their delivery perosn does not accept those for refunds anyways. Bill structure is confusing - difficult to know costs of undelivered items etc (5) Each time 20-30 % of the items ordered are not delivered as they go out of stock every time! I dont understand how come they are not able to update quantities online so that items we order do not go out of stock. (6) They always keep about 100-200 INR of yours with themselves in form of your wallet on their website! So count interest - liquid funds - ! They shoud simply return the money if items are undelivered. But they do not. (7) Giving 2 stars because some of the items: leafy veg used to be fresher than BigBasket and they show rating of their items on scale of 10.

I ordered from Towness on Monday, its already Thursday..Nothing deliveredNone of their numbers are working. Cheated me of 1000rs. If website or the company is not working, then why they are accepting orders?

Extremely disappointed and shocked at Towness service. Being a customer ofTowness since 2013, I have recommened more than 20 custmers and have always been happy about thier service. This week, I did not receive my order and there has been noone reachable on mail or phone when I try to track them. All numbers provided by the lead to nowhere. Finally when I manage to reach them, one Mr. Ajay who claimed to be the top management rudely offered to refund my money to my wallet saying he cannot deliver vegetables to me. He then refused to pick up my calls and when I manage to call him he says he has other work and is too busy to talk to us. Then why r numbers being displayed if there is no response and why are they accepting orders and taking online payments if they cannot deliver??? Deeply shocked. Have requested all my recomendations to not buy from towness anymore.

Horrible customer service. Missed reading reviews. Placed an order & now unable to reach the customer care. My mails/WhatsApp messages have no response so far. Its been 3 days.Update: Ultimately got the delivery with fresh fruits & veggies. But they auto cancelled few items. But money isnt credited.

I beg everyone my review before you place order in Towness...first of all they will take your order and wont deliver it. Second of all their contract number is all not working. When you write them email they will respond you after a week saying sir product went out of stock so we kept your money in wallet . So you have to wait untill they say product is available and again you have to pay extra shipping charge each time you place the order. End of the story, dont place order here.

Extremely horrible customer service. There is no one you can reach out to if you have any issues. Whether you want to find out where your order is, a damaged/bad product, want a refund...They have a whatsapp number where the message does not get delivered at all, no one picks up the calls on the other number. TownEss was The Best but now its THE WORST.

Poor customer service. Because of an issue on their payment page I had made the same payment thrice. The bank confirmed that they had refunded the money. Towness simply stopped responding to my emails. 8 emails enquiring about the refund on last count

Most of the items are out of stock in website. The customer care guarantees the items are in stock and will be delivered. Once payment is made next day, few of the items are not delivered stating out of stock. You need to follow up with the customer care every day to get the refund, which I am continuing.-Its a waste of time.-No offers except points for which you need to run after customer care-Better to avoid if you have other options

Long time user of towness. Delivery has become a disaster. Very long delivery windows, things always out of stock after you have paid, no information at all about deliveries. Products also getting bad in quality had worms in my atta. Wish we had a good alternative where product and delivery was good.

From Ms. Mamata calling me about some great deals to her seniors helping me place my order and the safe contact free and prompt delivery of goods it was a pleasurable experience as a customer. Ordered vegetables last week and no update so far ( money paid in full). Tried calling a their numbers, but none work (landline, mobile and whatsapp). Customer service abd chat options are always offline. Will lodge a formal complaint.

CAUTION : Think well before orderingI placed an order on 12/2/2021.Order ID : 268385. They didnt deliver and none of the numbers work. My money is gone ! They should shut down their website if they cant keep their commitments. I need my money back.

Definite cheating going on. Prices are higher than other online services. Quantities of vegetables ordered is less and they dont refund the difference in weight. Two items were unavailable and amount only credited to my wallet instead of back to my card. Had to wait the whole morning for delivery. Now Ill be forced to buy from the again and pay delivery fee just so that I can utilize the cash remaining in my wallet. This will be the last time. I prefer to stick to bigbasket, etc.

Worst experience with TownEss. They dont have any products available, mostly out of stock. Delivery also not done and no information.

I have been a Towness customer for more than 6 years. For many years, I was quite happy about the quality and pricing. However, for more than a year now, their service quality had become pathetic. They are unable to meet delivery commitments. For me this has become more frequent now. Also, with most orders, there are some items that are unavailable (if not in stock, the site should immediately alert the customer). The quality of vegetables is also not the same. At times there are Rejected/Rotten items. Please improve your Service quality and make sure your meet your delivery commitments. There are several other Online/Mobile App based services that are able to manage 1 day delivery across Bangalore.

Had to call them three to make sure my order was placed as the money was deducted but the app said it was not. Then when (after a few hours) the app got updated, I saw that some of the things i ordered were out of stock. I called customer care to ask them if there was a problem, because by now I dont trust thatcthat clumsy app. Customer care says no, everything is in stock, your order has been placed. Several hours after this , I get a flippant email saying many things you ordered are not in stock, weve given you store credit. I only shopped here this time because I wanted to use up the store credit from last time where they didnt deliver half the items. I will finish my store credit and then will definitely not come back until they change the terrible way they do business.

Have been ordering vegetables from towness for a while now because of lockdown and we really like the quality of products delivered. Mr. Shuruth was very helpful in explaining offers available and for making it hassel free ordering. The delivery was quick too. Overall the vegetable are really great in quality. Looking forward for persuing more orders.

Complete cheats, took a Rs. 5000 order during the lockdown an havent delivered anything. They are even refusing to refund the money. Dont ever order from these crooks, much better to use Big Basket or any other platform. Bunch of unprofessional cheats.

Ordered from their Banashankari branch via Swiggy. These guys pulled a fast one on us. I can understand if it was one issue. But not only did they deliver 1/4th the quantity of the ordered items, they didnt even provide a bill. 2 of the vegetables were missing. All in all we had to dump the beans for being dry and rotten. If you guys are responsible for the Banashankari branch, then you ought to hold them responsible. Luckily swiggy was kind enough to refund partial amount, we still took a damage on the remaining amount as most of the vegetables were trashed.

The vegetables and fruits are very fresh. Their package is very environment friendly with cotton bags. They also have the option of point redemption were in you can buy some pickles, bread etc. Its is best online shopping. They have all traditional vegetables. Only disadvantage is they do not have express delivery.

This company is unethical. They dont credit the amount charged for the cloth bags even after you return them to the delivery man under acknowledgement. They dont keep their promise.. They just deduct some money without informing you and keep mum about it.Better avoid this company. Theyd cheat you.

The company is using a lot of plastics in unnecessary way. The fresh coconut are coated with a sticker and bee wax which is required as packed in polythene and due to lack of air the tip starts developing fungus. The coconut are delivered in polythene which is utter waste. They can be delivered alternatively by tieing in traditional way and resident address written on coconut itself.Request management to seriously look into it.

Very happy with the quality of the products. The vegetables and fruits are fresh and well packaged. The customer care is courteous and attentive. The only drawback I find is the timing of delivery. But that is only so that we get fresh stuff. I like their home made items also.

We worked with town essentials for over 2 years...while we never faced any major problems with ordering/ delivery...their attitude towards customers is pathetic! At the end we stopped ordering from them as they unilaterally wanted to change credit terms. Very bad attitude towers customers & doing business with businesses that like to operate on basis of integrity and honesty.

They do have a distinct philosophy like placing Neem leaves in rice etc to prevent pests, and packing some stuff in reusable bottles or cloth bags.But their idli rice sucks. Big time. We should have suspected it when the rice refused to get grounded into an even paste. After huge efforts that was done, then the resultant idlis came out very bad and didnt even get cooked after 2 attempts. Even dosais did not come out well at all. What a mystery! To their credit they asked for feedback about this.Their sona masoori raw rice is 10% higher than what you get at typical chain stores, but the softness of the cooked rice is amazing. Would buy again.

Pathetic quality..I ordered twice both the time spinach and methi leaves were rotten, even after providing feedback they dont do proper quality check. Organic vegies and fruits are just a name, they send only old stock stuff.Never order from Town essentials,, big basket is much better.

I generally order fruits and vegetables from towness as I like the quality of the produce. Last week I ordered vegetables and fruits from towness and the quality was very bad. Methi was rotten and stinking, palak had a zillion ants and the honey I ordered was too thin. I dont know if its pure honey, because honey I know is generally thick. I had to throw 2 full bunches of methi. I called up customer care to tell them about these problems and the person didnt bother to do anything about it other than simply say sorry. I would not recommend towness to anyone as their standards of produce and customer care has totally deteriorated. Also, I never get all the items Ive ordered.
