I, Animesh Bhandarkar, would like to share my experience of having the privilege to study in this esteemed school. I am an individual with special needs and have a condition called Cerebral Palsy with Low Vision. I was mainstreamed in class 4 and what started off on an experimental basis, culminated into my successful completion of class 10 in the year 2014. I cherish very fond memories of history classes taught by our principal Mrs Sarah Abraham. In fact, she has been instrumental in giving me the opportunity to explore my true potential. She was one amongst the very few, who believed in me and has always been a constant source of support and motivation. I am and will always be grateful to the Principal for making me who I am today. I have studied in RVPS for 12 years, and it has been a wonderful experience. I have seen myself develop as a person. The school did not just cover academics, but also taught me morals and values. It has impacted my life in many ways.The school has given me confidence to face any situation, be it exams or any other activity. The teachers always supported me and boosted my confidence even when I made mistakes. They made me think out of the box and be creative.My interest in extra-curricular activities was also recognized by the school. I was given many opportunities to participate in sports, literary competitions and other interests like music. All of this was provided without any compromise on my academics.In terms of academics, I was not a good student when I joined the school. But, in the end, I turned out to be the topper of my batch!.I am truly grateful to the school which looked after my overall development. It had been my second home throughout my journey. I am a proud alumnus of R V Public School, eternally grateful for laying a sound foundation for both my career and life.
