Due to construction, took more time to reach.2) Campus: Well designed and planned. You can feel that calm atmosphere while inside the campus. Yes, I am not denying that schools are not opened yet, so less foot falls & crowd but honestly speaking we have not got that positive feeling in any of the campus we have visited. So definitely a 5 Star.3) Teaching & Non-Teaching Staff: Cant comment on the teaching staff as we have not interacted. Non-teaching staff are very cooperating and helpful. You can feel the warm welcome from the reception itself. Sapna Maam from Admission section is really good. Understood each and every concern of parents and addressed without any hesitation. 5 Star to you Maam.4) Admission process: very clean, no hiding of information.5) Fee Structure: reasonable considering the amount of facilities provided.

Gopalan International School is a wonderful learning centre, and I strongly recommend it for children. Even amidst this pandemic, where many schools cannot provide much to their students in activities, events and participation, G.I.S. ensures that students are never sitting idle or depressed due to lack of activities, as they have many school-time activity periods such as Assemblies every Monday, a leadership program for children every week, personalized clubs which children can select on their own, which gives them a sense of independence and sports & yoga periods, which are actively guided by supportive and energetic teachers. Even the academic side of this school is full of opportunities, with plays and activities related to the chapter being done, and of course, supportive teachers. This is my review about middle school and the class teacher Ms. Divya of 5C.The school was well organized from day 1 and the students were made comfortable to get into the online classes mode from their long vacation.All the information were well communicated from the school and by the class teacher Ms. Divya. There was even a personal phone call to us parents to inform on the school start dates and what to expect.Ms. Divya is very prompt in answering all the queries from both students and parents from my experience.My son had mentioned that the teachers are well informed and in control of all the classes conducted so far.

The Academic Year 2020-21 started with lot of uncertainty. It has been challenging not only for students and parents but a lot for teachers as well. Teachers had to go through online teaching, and we had to change a lot in our teaching methodology. GIS has been extremely helpful to the teachers in providing all the tools needed for the online teaching. In the pandemic, teachers could work from home. Many faculty development programs were organized to make our teaching more effective and engaging for Children. We had freedom to explore different teaching apps in the class to make our teaching more interactive.Our, principal Sita ma’am guided us throughout the year and her motivating words kept us involved and encouraged. Coordinators, Ms. Sharmila and now Ms. Simmi has been extremely helpful with their guidance and timely help. All the teachers are very cooperative. This provides a great working environment.At GIS we also get opportunity to explore our hidden talents and interest. I am pleased to share my experience at GIS. We were wandering from school to school, searching for an admission for my daughter, as she discontinued her previous school due to Covid. Being in the 10th grade it was even harder to find an admission. A friend introduced us to GIS. After awaiting she finally got the admission and immediately started with her classes. Dr. Sita Shankar, the principle was very humble and very understanding.The first day I observed that the teachers were really patient and questioned her about the syllabus. After school the teachers dedicated their time to fill in the incomplete topics so that she would catch up faster, even though it was online they dedicated and helped her so much. At school seeing the bondage between the teachers and children I was shock, it was simply pleasant. I really appreciate the effort put by all teachers and staff

GIS is a good school with a nice balance of academics and extra curricular activities. My child has been studying here for past 7 years and has had a fantastic journey with supportive teachers and an awesome principal. The staff is very approachable and willing to give a listening ear to all the concerns that one may have. A well rounded program with sports, music, MUN participation, arts etc. My kid thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the fantastic Musical that was presented under the guidance of their dedicated music teacher Mr Neville. They presented all original compositions. Also thankful to GIS for offering the Nature Sciences Internship Program organized by IISC in collaboration with Aadamya Chetana. My daughter is graduating out this year and a truly memorable Valedictory ceremony was organized for the batch of 2020 with the the theme, Reach for the stars. Every little detail was so well planned and thought out with 9 th graders actively entertaining the batch and parents and also introducing each and every member of grade 10 with a personal note! Finally the ceremony ended with the candle lighting and oath taking to carry forward all the values ,learnt at GIS. Kudos to the entire team!

The school encourages all the students to participate in events and even hosts several events on school campus. The coaches are highly trained and I personally find them quite friendly too. all the teachers are good and supportive. Although the school food hygiene could be improved. Overall its a friendly environment.

Both my kids go to GIS and I am very happy with the school. Both my kids really like the way of teaching and extra curricular activities. The infrastructure and facilities are really nice. They have really good sports coaches and amazing music teacher who spearheads the G minor music band and encourages kids to go beyond. Last year was not an easy year for everyone. Especially, when it comes to schools, both children and teachers faced a plenty of challenges in conducting classes. Remote way of learning was completely new norm for both of them. However, at GIS, teachers adopted to the new norm and also educated children to learn the new remote way learning. Each teacher ran extra miles to ensure that children are never comprised on academic classes due to the remote way of learning. My son thoroughly enjoyed the classes though we have moved him from ICSE to IGCSE with help of the extreme care from each teacher. My son made an immense improvement in each subject with help of the constant touch base from each teacher during the critical pandemic situation.

We are associated with GIS for the last 11+ years. My daughter is now doing her 10th grade. GIS provides plenty of opportunities and encourages children to explore different skills.Principal Mrs. Madhu Narayan is very friendly and an approachable person. She is always open to constructive feedback and make improvements as needed.We have seen children at GIS balance their studies and extracurricular activities very well with the support and guidance from their teachers.G Minors - the school band created few years back has grown from strength to strength. They have given commendable performances at different venues and competitions. Mr. Neville, the music teacher, is the reason behind the enthusiastic group of talented musicians. Under his guidance, they have learned music well, and also learned to work as team and help each other perform better.

My 12 year old has been going to GIS since November last year and she loves the school. She is in IGCSE this year and I must take time to thank all the teachers and faculty for the awesome work they are all doing during such difficult times. They make sure children are paying attention and are constructively occupied during and after online classes.The children are learning skills that will not only make them successful but also better human beings.

I highly recommend CAIE/IGCSE department of GIS!! All the teachers are so kind to each child, truly encouraging each to their strengths. My children LOVE to attend and learn. I am confident that this school has set a solid foundation for their learning path and that they have developed a true love for learning. The school offers yoga and art and music, all of which my children love participating in and have gained an appreciation for each. I am confident we made the BEST choice for our children putting him in Cambridge Curriculum.

It has been only a few months association with GIS and I already feel comfortable and a vital part of the organization despite the virtual platform. I received a warm welcome from all my colleagues and students. Though this was a new mode of teaching, the interactions with the students are lucrative and the students have responded positively to the new platform. This is our 9th year of our childrens education with Gopalan International School. We have had an wonderful experience in terms of coaching and guidance to the students. The teachers have always been encouraging the students to participate in different curricular and co-curricular activities - thus letting them explore their different potentials in varied areas, while continuously supporting them to succeed.Given the Covid19 pandemic situation this year and everyone having to deal with their personal & professional life, we can realize how the teachers were able to still maintain a high standard education while also letting the students continue on other extra-curricular activities like Yoga and Physical Training as well. Kudos to the entire team!! It was almost like regular classes, exams and presentations, etc maintaining the same level of standards and discipline, though the mode was through online education. The staff were still able to conduct various inter & intra school competitions - just imagining the amount of review time for all the output from the children both online & recorded material - it is not easy, but they pulled it off not once, but every time - really a great job by all the teachers.Once again I sincerely Thank the entire GIS team for a great year of education and guidance to the students!

Going to Indus international school was a really good experience. The girls tug of war team did really well and went on to win silver on the second day.The Gopalan team did really well overall and it was a fun experience to visit other schools with our classmates. Hello everybody,This review is regarding my experience at GeMUN-2020.I actually happen to be a student of GIS and also attended the eMUN hosted by my school this year.The MUN was very well organized, with no room for error. The teachers in charge responded quickly to any questions that the delegates had flawlessly and politely. The variety of committees added to the experience well. The agendas for each committee allowed for wide discussions from most countries, instead of limiting speeches to just major countries like USA, and only countries related to the agenda. The Executive Board was handpicked and they were great too. The debate was thrilling, especially in CCC, Continuous Crisis Committee, the committee I was allotted. The cash prizes were lucrative also. Overall, I can honestly say that GeMUN-2020 was my favourite MUN, out of the 7 that I have been to.

Kudos to the teachers and the welcoming staff! The improved infrastructure and facilities are matchless. Leadership skills are taught to the children at a very young age.The school provides exposure to the children in various fields of their interest.We feel very safe and secure inside the school campus.

Both my boys are in GIS in gr-9 and gr-4 respectively. GIS has a beautiful swimming pool. Swimming teacher Mr Mubarak is a fantastic teacher. He taught our daughter different swimming styles; Back stroke, Free style, and Breast stroke. The G-Mun experience at the school is phenomenal for being its second. Organising was done well. Food was serviceable for the most part. The students being logistics were helpful and those participating for chairpersons, moderators etc. were chosen well. The Mun was a great experience overall especially for first timers.

My son is stusying in 5th grade. The teachers are doing an excellent job by making the classes interesting for kids. They are managing it really well in a smooth manner for kids.

GIS is a great platform for young kids to develop their overall potential. UPDATE: It was a chaos when this academic year began. Most of the teachers were newly recruited and had zero subject knowledge. They also had never handled young kids in ages 5 to 6. Coordinators and Operations department tried their best and the Principal stepped in to maintain order. NOW AFTER 3 months teachers have been trained and some of them have picked up on how to handle young kids and their respective subject. Still formative years of kids hold indispensable places in their growth and I sincerely hope GIS understands that a parents trust is a very valuable asset. DESPITE THIS MY RATING REMAINS UNCHANGED. GIS still has a good Principal and the school management did step in to address the concerns and issues with regular feedback from parents.OLDER REVIEW: My daughter has been with GIS for 2 years now and I am really glad with the approach teachers take towards students especially the preprimary kids. There is always extra attention and care. With the current online method, my only concerns will be the missing/reduced understanding between the student and the teacher due to no physical interaction. There is always a bonding created in the older way particularly for kids younger than 10 years. The teachers all do their best and much more than they are required to do so. I realized how tough it is to manage my kid these days and kudos to teachers who handle 20+ kids day in and out.

From the perspective of a student, Gopalan International School is an amazing place to be in. Everyone is very friendly and approachable. The teaching methods are very good. In fact, just the atmosphere of the classrooms and other areas are very nice. All of the staff are very understanding and take very good care of everybody.

Amazing! The school has supported me with my endeavors in swimming. With its large swimming pool and excellent, child friendly coaches, I have been able to enhance my performance in swimming and has provided me with several opportunities to showcase my talent. The swim team along with our coach, Mubarak sir, has won several medals in the recent competitions. I would like to continue my academics and athletics, with the guidance of this school, until my graduation.

Gopalan International school infrastructure is very good. They have excellent sports facilities. There is balance of studies & sports. Class size is also small, so the teachers are able to attend to students queries better.The one thing I liked is that the school administration responds promptly to parents concerns. We had a query regarding the breakup of fees and we received a reply clarifying the same. Grade-wise breakup of fees is also displayed prominently on the notice board of the school for the benefit of new parents who come for admissions. We know exactly what we are paying for.

Our son goes to the 3rd grade at GIS. At the start of this whole online approach - I did begin with a certain level of apprehension ....however overtime I could clearly see that the Class coordinator, the class teacher and the subject teachers were making genuine efforts in transforming firstly themselves and then the medium to help the students.It’s been a difficult time for the kids on the online mode - but I couldn’t have imagined any other patient and thoughtful approach to solve it - the way the GIS teachers did it. Kudos to them and ofcourse the kids who learnt the new ways !They have started many activities like Wednesday reading sessions , focused library readings, Indian cultural knowledge, DIY Life skills etc to name a few !Way to go !

I am very happy with the GIS Teams (Principal & staff) for wonderful planning and support given for the online classes which are being conducted well.

My child insists that this school is amazing. I feel the school provides great support for my child and Ive seen improvements since the he started to come to the school.A school with good infrastructure, growth environment and most importantly very understanding teachers and faculty members.

Found a safe school. Though a bit interior given the infrastructure and ambience we found it good. Couple of parents i spoke too seem to be comfortable. Stress on the kids seems to be well balanced out. Food needs to be checked out before i can comment on. Would definitely suggest to those who seek good schooling.

The school is very kids friendly -teachers share a healthy and friendly and relationship with children.there are lot of of extra curricular activities through the year.

Good infrastructure, great management, caring & encouraging teachers, well behaved students..The school brought out the hidden singing talent in my child & groomed her well..Excellent band mentored by Mr. Neville, put up awesome shows in places like phoenix mall, hard rock cafe etc. to showcase their talents.. very happy that i chose this school..

I as a delegate found Gopalan Model United Nations Conference 2019 to be a stimulating and fascinating experience that allowed me to express myself in ways normally restricted to students. It showed me that the words of Benjamin Parker are some of the truest ever written, With Great Power comes Great Responsibility.I have been to 4 Model United Nations Conferences before this, and this was the second best one so far in terms of facilities, amenities and logistics. However in terms of sheer innovation the Gopalan Model United Nations Conference 2019 stood out by a mile. It was conducted by former delegates whose combined knowledge was a force to be reckoned with. They twisted the situation at hand against us in United Nations Security Council forcing us to apply our brainpower and cunning to stop the problem at hand from destroying us all.I conclude that after Gopalan Model United Nations Conference 2019 I have been inspired to aspire to be a delegate at the real Security Council.

Our association with GIS started from this academic year only; but would be very happy to give a good review about team Gopalan already ! We are presently away from Bangalore due to Covid , but the school has given us an immense support to make things happen remotely - counselling, admission , books and online support time to time. Coordinators and teachers are always proactive and make sure to keep things moving effectively ; not only academics , Co-curricular activities are also in full swing ! My daughter is really happy with the online classes and teachers! Very well organised schedule and sincere efforts from each and every person involved. Special thanks to Team of teachers and cordinators offering such a systematic and effective support system during this difficult times !

Gopalan International school I reckon as one of the very best ICSE schools in Bangalore .My daughter studied 10 years in this school from Grade 1 to Grade 10. These 10 years at GIS were the golden years of her student career .The Principal ,Coordinators ,Teachers ,Admin staff and Support staff are so humane ,down to earth , compassionate to the core ...The Teachers treated the students better than their own children and took so much personal interest and given one to one interaction.As a parent I was treated like a king by the school .I could walk in to the Principals chamber or the Directors chamber without any appointment. It was a open door policy and my problems were considered as their problems too and given such a patient hearing.Yesterday my daughters result of ICSE Board Grade 10 was announced and all the students including my daughter have come out with flying colours .The Teachers of GIS had put in so much efforts ,hard work beyond school hours and also on holidays to make this dream of students come true ..I salute all the Teachers ,Coordinators ,Principal and Management in this endeavour of building not just the Students career but contributed so well for Nation building and development...I will always recommend GIS institutions to study for students who are on the look out for good education ,character building and morale booster ...

We have had a wonderful experience so far. Our kid is in nursery and though it is too early to form an opinion but seems like he is very comfortable with the school and its ways.

We had a recent orientation session with the school Principal and teaching staff regarding the process and preparation for 10th standard board exams. It was well-organized and informative. We would like to thank the staff for organizing this, and look forward to their guidance in the future.
