Its pretty rare to get proper school review while getting admission for our kids.Due to relocation from Gurgaon to Bangalore, I was looking for a good school near Bellandur and have to travel all along as DPS Bangalore EAST denied giving fee information over mail or phone call.School is pretty big and may b good but its biggest disadvantage is its location. Its in outskirts in Sarjapur road and around 9 kms from outer ring road. Nearest livable apartments are atleast 3 to 4 kms.Fee for UKG as per attached image for 2021-22 session. One time fee is 1L out of which 20K is refundable.Tution fee, transport, books and uniform extra around 125K INRSeparate building for pre-primary classes.Just because of its location we decided not to opt this and moved for NHVM in Bhoganhalli.

One of the best schools in Bangalore. Academics wise they are brilliant. There admission process , transfer process , online class management, school bus transport management is so well organized that its completely effort less and joyful experience for the parents. Well done and highly recommended school.

We visited DPS Bangalore east for our son admission here are my experience will not able to give academic reviews.Campus is ready huge and well maintained. Enough security along with CCTV.. school will prepare your kids to face the world and gives real big platform to to perform.We have not experience academic yet but hoping very positive and finger crossed.

SCARY SCHOOL..!!With 8000 students in this space and a teacher student ratio of 1:70 it is certainly scary.. well in a way it teaches the kids to go on a mad race 😨It was mad chaos earlier today.. when they were distributing books.. I was there to enquire for admissions.. and I am glad I saw it and you can guess what I decided.Parents were all upset and some lost their cool.. I would have as well..No precaution for covid..The only good was the nice looking building and infrastructure.. but I can imagine with 8000 kids there how 🤔 it would look like..The fees was reasonable 😑The reception / admission staff hardly cared.. it really did not matter if there was a new admission or no..All the best to the parents of kids at DPS

Very Good School. I really like the education and all the extra curricular activities. The sports ground is very very good. I am a student so trust me I know the school. If u want your children to get good at studies and be part of extracurricular activities this is the school you want want to choose. Very chill and calm school. Great environment.

Big school, with good campus management. Modern with excellent educational curriculum.Some teachers abuse their power, though. I was slapped hard with a metal ruler without any reason, and when I reported the teacher, nothing happened. A student poured glue on a girl’s hair, practically ruining it. His mom was a teacher though, so yet again, nothing happened. School needs to be more justice-based rather than ignore madi

School is big and has sports ground and swimming pool. But teaching is not at required level. Parents have to teach the kids and teachers will only do the formality of attendance. School office does not even know how to approve for BMTC bus pass for students.

This school is really awesome! The teachers are very responsible and cooperative and has a huge campus. The school has a very tight security and has a lot of CCTV cameras. The school looks forward to improve both academics and games. It is a really clean campus and the class rooms are very big and very clean. If you ask for my opinion this is a really great school.☺️

1. Please visit this school only if you have 1 Lacs per kid to reserve the admission seat. This is exclusive of School fees, Books, and Bus fee which will cost seperately as 1.25 Lacs per year. So total you need 2.25 Lacs per kid iniitally to get into the school. Having said that, the school doesnt provide the payment breakup, rather they will ask you to write on your own on blank paper. so nothing official.2. The school location is very remote in the village area, adding the uncertainity from security standpoint while kids are in transit3. The worst part is that they dont accept the admission if you are unwilling to pay the donation which is completely unacceptableIf Im having these experience at the time of admission then Im really uncertain as to what will happen during the entire acedemic.

I visited DPS East, Bangalore for the admission based on the call I received from the school last week. I was surprised when the accountant mentioned that I need to pay 40000 in cash for which no receipt will be provided & without which admission will not be given. I am sure a prestigious institution like DPS will not deal with black money/ bribe & hence I have sent an email to the school but yet to receive any response on no receipt cash demanded.

A beautiful campus with bucket loads of memories. The education here is not responsibility but an experience. The campus consists of 4 wings. Each wing has something unique about its infrastructure. The teachers are cooperative and atmosphere colourful. Provides every type of opportunity to grow and excel in a wide range of fields.

School is good .but they cant able to pay salary for there school bus drivers

The infrastructure and facilities are exquisite. Classrooms are very resplendent. Has many opportunities for children to groom and grow up.

It gives a wonderful experience. Teachers are quite friendly here. You get to meet students of all kinds smart, dumb, kind, bro, not-so-trustworthy, a nobody, a somebody. This greatly improves ones personality. Though the academics or infrastructure is not the best, but we learn how to make the best out of it here.

Felt better not study my kid in the school during school admissions. Staff have been very rude and testing the patience of parents. Treating the parents like creatures, bugs. My experience is below. Went for submission of the admission form for my kid, I was told mother signature is mandatory, I told mother is out of station and I was asked to write a letter to principal. After writing it, I was told there few missing fields in the form which I filled it up. After this I was asked for the Birth certificate, I told have a scanned copy, but they did not accept it. And then asking for address proof which was not even mentioned in the list required by them in the back of the form. Is it int too much for school admission or am I applying for a passport, and with all this their rude replies and staring looks as we are some creatures.

Excellent campus with a lot of facilities. Great for all round student development unlike some schools which focus only on academics.

Huge campus and genuinely interested teachers. Our child seems to be learning well and learning new things daily. Communication with teachers and management is also managed well. Overall satisfied till now. Scholastic books supplied on demand seem to be overly costly but other options are also available like Childrens Book Trust

We had loads of inhibition about choosing a school as there is no single school with all positive reviews. to be honest, a single negative review always puts a parent in the thinking-mode even if the school has positive reviews. However, now that my ward is going to the school, i can state that I am happy with the school. The teachers are friendly, understanding and approachable. The school surely encourages out-of-the-box thinking and doesnt force students to memorise and write ditto as long as all relevant points are covered.The teachers have extended all possible support to us- I do think this is a good schoolOn the negative sides, the extracurricular activities like swimming etc are not so great; but i hardly have any complaints on the academic.

I have registered for admission and paid the registration fee but I didnt get any acknowledgement for transaction. I called and mailed them couple times to know about admission process( interview date & etc). They responded only for my first mail, later they didnt answer my call and not replied to my email.

None of the phone numbers displayed on website or email signatures are ever attended to. They have other channels for internal communication, but they should understand the office numbers on website etc are there for a purpose. For a person external to the system this is so frustrating.

Worst school in Bangalore Ive seen so far, they only have infrastructure and nothing else. Ilmannered staff with lot of attatude. They dont even give you fee structure or any Demand letter for the fees they are asking. I dont know what they are scared of, that they give you Pen and Paper to write down the Fee amount yourself (while they are telling you the Fee amount). They dont even write it themselves. Pathetic condition of the schools these days...

Dramatic, I called up to the number which is mentioned in google map, she informed to come quickly before 12 , but when I reached I go to know that there are no seats but instead I need to make a request letter to management. Sorry DPS , better up next time.

Neither a responsive management nor a safe place for the kids in my feeling, one of their driver hit my car with DPS school bus (rash driving)school didnt take any responsibility but asked driver to pay it seems... being irresponsible or harsh driver, he pleaded that he cannot pay.. so i left the matter alone.. emailed school but received no response.. School management with this attitude could fail in raising better children for our society.. Also since its my car no issues, what happens if I was driving a concrete truck or any other HMVs..

Never seen a school campus as beautiful as DPS east..the teachers have been cooperative..and give equal importance to academic and extra curriculum activities..happy so far

I have one question, why cant the school supply text books for mass media ? we students are literally studying from xeroxed sheets. the school should only introduce a new subject if they can supply quality material. Its actually depressing studying from these sheets. Its hard to maintain and concentrate on this book. I really hope the school can supply proper textbooks in the next academic year. Until then i request whoever is reading this that please dont let your kid opt for this subject. Im sad to say but the school has ruined the subject for me already.

Just money minded. No good faculty. In a your 4-5 time faculties are changed for main subject like maths and English etc.They just need money. After paying a huge amount to school, there are no proper way of communication, no proper study.and again you have to pay extra for each and every curriculum apart from a big yearly fee. And top of that you will not get a good result. would not suggest anyone to got for this school, bcos this is not a school, it is just a business for then to earn money.This is what i have experienced here.

Education system is good,but they declare very much leaves for all and before school day they wont conduct the clasees properly,and alos they have a conduct monthly tests for students at least every month. and when they are conductiong the exams there is no necessary to give study holidays in middle other than that they can do revisions in the schools.because,all the parents are working they cant make study during the day time,unnecessarily they are giving study holidays till 7th std there s no necessary.kindly make changes in this.

I love this school, its teachers are great, they have a lot of experience, their teaching methods dont get anyone bored.On the other hand, some of the sports teachers are very rude, if they dont like you, they wont select you even if you came first in races like swimming.Money required is literally just too much. Fees is approximately 2 lakhs and different charges for other activities.My English teacher Triparna maam has a wonderful way to teach. She encourages us to share our ideas to the class and makes us to do a lot of fun activities.Pls like if this helps.

One of the worst managed schools in Bangalore. All style and no substance. They fleece you with everything right from the start asking you to pay some 30-40k donation to some dubious charity organisation. The transport department is insensitive and reckless. Please avoid as there are plenty of schools in Bangalore as good alternatives...

My kid has learning disabilities, but there teachers could not understand the problem instead they tagged him dumb and slow. Pathetic school ... Teachers told if your kid is not able to finish the work that is not our responsibility. Thanks God we got to know the problem ourselves and with right diagnosis and remedial classes he is able to cope with his disabilities. And he was never dumb, because he is the only boy who can assemble robots himself with help of YouTube.

I dont know why people choose this school ..its totally money minded management.They take around 2lakhs for new Admission n u cant transfer ur kid to same named branch in other cities.if in-between the year u want to transfer ur kid . U have to pay whole year fee to them around 1.15 lakh n where u r going u have to again take fresh admission n pay full fee of year again.I dont think its worth of spending too much money on kindergarten kids..They dont teach much.N admission is not transparent.u fill form then theyll call u n then only principal will tell u about fee structure..n they ask u to pay 1lakh in one go within 3days.For people who transfer a lot n dont wanna save money for higher education, I wont suggest this school ..Inthe end only u know ur kid n u know whats better for them..

This is a money making institute. This organization is run by corrupt politicians. They take lacs for a single admission in cash which is transported in lockers at night. Teachers are from IT background and have absolutely no teaching experience.

Worst attitude from staff and administrative people and that will be thought to your childrens.Once you enter the school you can see 10 to 20 peoples with cardless talki. Dont know whats their job there. That doesnt help for the childrens security. It is just a show.

I spent five years of my education in dps east and graduated 12th grade this year. Now, coming to reviewing the school, I will prove to you by the end of my review that the school deserves only 3 stars. Firstly, location is a major drawback. For the past five years, it has been back breaking to travel up and down everyday a long distance. Now coming to the quality of education, I would say they provide good material. But the teaching faculty can be better. Maths teacher, Ms.Anitha is a really experienced and useful teacher. I can say that, some are good while some dont have much knowledge about the subject they teach. Infrastructure of this school is really good. The school canteen also provides different food items everyday, but it is too crowded during breaks. Students are advised to stand in a line but no one cares. We have to literally push through everyone to get a lunch coupon. DPSE also organizes one event every year like sports day, annual day or fest. Coming to sports, I would say that those who are best only get a chance every year. They dont care about students who are interested to learn the sport. One group of people are always there to dominate every year and bring fame to the school. The good part is that they organise stayback classes those who want to play after school hours. Again, they charge extra. Coming to organizing events like annual day, they charge each and every student a hefty amount, whether they take part in it or not. Nothing can be acheived here without money. DPS has been successful in producing top rankers in class 10 and 12 over the years. Here, it is an environment such that if you want to study, you can. No one forces you to study hard everyday. Come to this school if you are into brand name. The classrooms are spacious and well lit. But to participate in any extra curricular activity, you have to be well known among the teachers and friends. I feel students arent given individual attention and are just going with the beat of the faculty. Majority of the students here come from well off families anx hence, are not concerned or bothered about the enormous fee collection against tuition fee & transportation. The evaluation of answer sheets in school is really not upto the mark. I dont know why, but I feel that some students are given partial grades. So be ready to earn a good name here. The good thing here is that students here attend FIITJEE and other big IIT coaching institutes study in class which motivates the rest of the class.I think by this time, you would have got a brief picture of this educational institution. Please give this a like if you found it useful.

A sad excuse for a school. Bus facilities are terrible. We had our preboards,and the bus driver drove us at the speed of 10km/hr. A 15 min journey took us one and a half hours.

Very crowded buses. 3 children sit on 2 seater and four in a 3 seater. Children sometime dont get place to sit in the buses.if there are 2 mam in the bus . They would occupy a 3 seater and would sit alone. Very bad experience.

It is the worst school I have ever seen....I had heard a lot and this school but got to know the true things after admission....Bullying and ragging is commonly and mostly done in this school.....Education provided also is not good....To be frank I am changing this school next year 100%....I have been myself a victim of getting bullied and the students do not stop unless and until the students falls depressed...The teacher also does not catch up with what is going on.....All students except some of them tend to get attracted towards a wrong path of life because of others.....
