I am struggling for my long rides good hand gloves while I try multiple brands.. not given any comfort rather severe pain in the palms. Rupert suggested socialized road bike gloves which really improved my performance for the long rides without any palm suffering

I have been a customer with BOTS for the last two years and bought items like Tubes, Bell Helmet, Bike maintenance accessories, Sweat guard, Oakley sunglasses etc. and am extremely satisfied with the items as well as the experience at the store with the cordial staff.I am however writing this review to highlight the reliable service rendered by BOTS in replacing my Indoor Smart Trainer. The Elite Suito Smart Trainer is a major item that I bought through BOTS in January this year. Being a first time user of a cycle trainer, I was initially quite happy with the eqpt though it had developed abrasion noise affecting the Roller and Cassette function over the next couple of months. Finally, in Jun 2021, I contacted Elite, Italy with recordings of the trainer in use and they had promptly offered to replace the item under warranty through my dealer.Mr Sumit from BOTS, Bangalore has been especially helpful in following up with Elite and getting my replacement. Notwithstanding the undue delay of 11 weeks in waiting, BOTS has replaced the faulty Trainer with a new model Suito-T (which comes without Cassette) and also installed the used Cassette from the faulty trainer.A day later, Elite had also compensated for the Cassette (as well as the delay) by sending me a new Cassette. Having received it with one of the three securing pins broken, I am skeptical of its functionality but I am not complaining.Overall I had an excellent experience as a customer with BOTS Bangalore.Thank you guys

The store has several offerings for bicycle accessories and apparel. Collection of cycles isnt much, perhaps its temporary. However the pricing starts from 36,000 onwards. The shop is a favorite for professional riders, weekend cyclists. Pro cycles having awesome features in price ranges 1.5 lakhs, 2 lakhs are serviced here. Staff is adequately knowledgeable about servicing the high end cycles.

It was a very pleasant experience as always, right from the time I called to fix an appointment to the time taking delivery of the cycles after the service.Ravi has done a great job with the bikes, even after 4000+ kilometres in a year it feels new.Rupert and Amit’s presence when you walk into the shop, is always warm and friendly.It has been a great experience with you gentlemen.

Like curiosity killed the cat, I visited their store. It’s super costly here. They charged me 250Rs for installing handle bar ribbon which is a very silly work for which I thought it can be done free of cost after purchase from their store. It lacked varieties just three tapes. I took specialised jersey which costed around 7.5K and that too very costly and size is very small. Very very poor support from the staff atleast they should support for the cost they charge. Very very unhappy with the purchase I had.I will be helpful if you care for the customers rather than caring for Google reviews and ratings. The interest shown in online reviews I couldn’t feel the same when I was in shop as real person. ✌️It’s not the price that matters after all, it’s customer satisfaction which matters for the price which we pay matters the most. Hope Bumsonthesaddle team aligns with it and doesn’t dissatisfy people who come in search of them.

Bicycle shopping at BOTS is more an experience than a transaction. From the time I entered the showroom to exit, my experience was of getting the best recommendation and value for money. Being a first timer to cycling, I had no idea of what type of bike to buy and was worried that I would be taken for a ride. However with Amits guidance, I was able to select the right bike, accessories and apparel for me to just get started. Im looking forward to my rides with my new hybrid bike and will keep coming back to BOTS for more..

Today, I finally located BOTS at Jayanagar... Very helpful staff.

So why two stars?I brought my bike from BOTS on 14th Jun. I was looking for a hybrid bike to start with as I am going to cycle after a long time, and was looking for Giant  Escape 3.After reading most of the reviews about cycle stores near my place, I finalised on BOTS, decided to check with them, came to know that there is no stock for Giant  Escape 3 and they recommended Polygon Path 2. Also they said the stocks are getting over and better to book it, and since at that time the shops were closed (lockdown) asked me to buy it through their website.The Next day I got the delivery, even a call from the store, in which I asked at what point I needed to bring it for service and other stuff and they said there is nothing concrete like that, whenever I feel like I can.After three weeks of cycling, I noticed some rubbing sound from the front and decided to take it to the store to check once. which was yesterday. The interest towards customers was minimal, and they asked if I had brought the bike from them, especially from the store. When I said it was from their online store, the mechanic said if I had brought it from the store, I should have got two free services, one in 15 days and one after 30 days, asked why, and he said for the online customers they would give some tools for free. I said I have not received that also.From his face I sensed he was not expecting that, and after a while he told me it may be because of the pandemic and stock. (Ya now everything can be put on to the pandemic)Inspecting the bike, he said it is not properly assembled (ta daaa), and it will cost around RS 600 for this (expected after the conversation with him). I agreed, he did work for 20 min, and made the bike perfect for riding. It has no sounds and feels smooth now. Three stars for this.When I went for the bill, I had to mention the saddle height (I was expecting them to) and was thinking they will put the bike in the trainer and check it properly but nothing happened. The guy just told the mechanic something and he tilted the saddle a bit down in the front. Reducing one star here.Finally paid RS 708 and came out. Now it might have happened only to me and may be because of the huge demand plus the pandemic and all but I was expecting more from the positive reviews I read about them. Do you think I should give more than two stars?ThanksUpdate: As per the response from the shop, I have received full refund. Thanks BOTS for the quick resolution.

I had always traveled to only North to do any kind of rides, never knew even south had this beautiful scenic view. All thanks to BOTS and BOTS one of the lead Chintan who invited me to this ride. It was very well organized from the start point by even providing the bib number to all the facilities to every rider till the end was quintessential. It was my first brevet experience and it was indeed a happy successful ride. The support and the coordination by the lead and BOTS was excellent. Great place, Great collection of all kinds of bikes. Really helpful and enthusiastic staff. Themselves being cyclists, theyll help you choose a good bike thatll fit your needs (not so much your budget 😉) Amith helped me choose the bike (Polygon Heist X2), and because I ran into some trouble getting it home, Rupert helped me out and offered free delivery. Although it took about 10 days, the bike came neatly packed in a box. Assembling it was pretty easy. They even offered me a coupon for an online beginner cyclist session. Very helpful for beginners. Apart from bicycles, they also have a wide variety of trainers, bicycle helmets, gloves, trackers, and various other accessories. They also have bicycle service. Great place for any bicycle enthusiast.P.S. The bikes great.

A week before I was supposed to move fromDelhi to Bangalore in Sept 2020 my cycle got stolen in Delhi. After coming to Bangalore I got in touch with BOTS and based on their recommendation I booked myself a Kona Dew. My bike got delivered in 6 weeks and I am extremely happy with the ride so far. I amNot a big fan of jazzy looking bikes so Kona dew is minimalistic and classy right out of 70’sI would highly recommend BOTS if you are looking to get back on the saddle or just looking for an upgrade. The staff makes the experience an absolute joy.

I got a very good bike from Bums on the saddle team. Iam really happy with the brand Pure Cycle and I got a adventure gravel bike. They helped me out fixing all the accessories very quickly . I gave my mountain bicycle for repair which was languishing in a corner for the last 3 years. Needless to say, it was in a pretty bad shape. Sowmya did a fantastic job of fixing my bicycle and made it feel like a new bike. BOTS is my go to place for all my bicycling needs.Recently (around 1st week of Aug 2021) I was looking to buy a pair of padded shorts. Rohan and Sumit recommended Castelli Entrata bib shorts. I was hesitant, considering its steep price. Considering that I am going to wear it every time I ride, I thought I should not compromise because even a niggle in the fit or a bit of discomfort with the shorts does have a compounding effect on the ride quality, especially on long rides. The quality of the recommendation is superb. I am enjoying my rides and it is making a difference in my riding experience as well. Sumit also suggested to go for the bib version of the shorts, which I think makes a lot of sense. It just did not occur to me, and it makes a lot of difference every time I use it. The guys working at BOTS know their stuff, period.

I had a bent and cracked rim, squeaking bottom-bracket and had to get cassette and chain replaced. Poor inventory management, even worse customer care.I had placed an order for 3 items for 7k plus. Item one was shipped after a delay of 3 days. On contacting customer care for item 2 after 4 days I was told it was not in stock, despite the fact that I was able to order it from the website. Do keep in mind I had to reach out to customer care. I was not informed whether the item was in stock or not. The third item hasnt been shipped yet and theres no feedback on customer care on a refund or shipping detail. EDIT. The third item was packed well and reached me on time.

I am just coming out of the shop as I write this review. I went there after seeing the rating in the maps. But, too disappointing that not a single soul even bothered to ask what we wanted. Each staff was just staring at us but no smile or a word delivered. The guy at the counter finished with a lady. Thought he would at last turn his attention towards us. But, to my surprise, he did not even care. Finally we ended up walking out, after 15 mins of standing inside. A staff who was with another customer saw us walking out but did not bother. Never had this experience anywhere till date. Felt it was arrogant.

These people are experts in bicycles. However, they are big blade on bums. I have other bad experiences with BOTS such as asking for additional money after placing an online order. Not a recommended place.

I was finding it tough to get a good hybrid bike due to Covid related shortage, when I landed on BOTS. Bought a Kona Dew from them last month. Amazing bike, and great support from BOTS team throughout, especially Rupert and Amit. They delivered ahead of the planned date and was always prompt in communication & updates.Amit gave quick tips on riding posture, using QR in wheels which was good. The bike maintenance session post purchase was also quite helpful. Overall a great experience and would recommend BOTS for anyone looking to buy bikes from Global brands.

My reason behind giving a rating of 1 star is pathetic online & offline support. If you can manage to dig into the details of my orders placed online through your portal, you’ll get your answer- most of the orders were either delayed or got cancelled after the delivery timeframe got over. However, I’ve seen a decent improvement in the online orders, that I’ve placed after my google review...so reconsidering my review to 4 star & hopes that in future too, BOTS lives up to our expectations.
