Lovely place - beautiful block printing and jewellery studio.

This place is THE place if you have block printing in your mind. I dont know if anyone else can do a better job than these people. Extremely knowledgeable, intensive work detailing , located in a serene patch of Bangalore. Overall it will be an extremely good experience. But yes ! Of you have a work which you require in shorter notice you might be dissapointed. These people are extremely busy and you need to give them time to give you time :)

We visited Tharangini as a part of our course. Padmini and her family have set up beautiful place and retain the art of hand block printing. It was a wonderful experience, they are lovely bunch of people.

Padmini and her team have a lot of knowledge and experience in the field and are doing a great job imparting the knowledge to everyone whos interested. Wonderful location

Attended a block printing workshop at Tharangini last month. It was a wonderful experience to be there with Padmini and her team of block printing artisans. Tharangini established in 1977 is a premier textile printing centre.They occasionally conduct workshops on different aspects of block printing and dyeing.The place it self is located on the Sankey Lake side on sprawling 5acre estate, run by a family trust.I would recommend the place and their work for both those who wish to master the art of printing and dyeing, and to anyone looking for large scale hand made/ organic and synthetic textile printing.The workshops they conduct are worth attending both for hobbyists and for those from the textile industry. The participants get hands on training and for me the one day work shop I attended was a memorable experience.The intake for workshops are limited to 10-14 participants, hence greets fooled up fast.
