Lack of infrastructure ,since it is an old college. But now renovation is going on. Students get lot of freedom here. Classes will be not more than 4 hrs . Have many clubs to improve their skills . More than 80% students will get placed. It has beautiful environment . One can be isolated from Bangalore.

UVCE is one of the top Engineering colleges in Karnataka. It comes under Bangalore University. Its a 100+ year of historical Institute.Now the College infrastructure is very nice. Best engineering college for candidates who require wonderful placement opportunities.The main thing is no one can get Engineering seats without merits.Those who have good CET or JEE ranks can only get seats.Students will get lot of freedom here. This is the place where one can learn the things by themselves and can innovate their own ideas.Many clubs are there which can improve the coding and other skills.

Such a nice college, it has really good infrastructure and give freedom to the students , it feels like home and all students are very good. Actually the college is based on seniors and all branches are also good .FACULTY : only few standard professors are there and others are ok but not good .INFRASTRUCTURE : This is 100 year old prestigious university in india ,the building is looks some what old but quality is good, SELF STUDY is the key here 😁😁😂😂.PLACEMENTS : In case of placement UVCE college is in 2nd rank in banglore and 3rd rank throught karnataka .MY OPINION : Overall I would like to tell something about this college ....If youre from middle class family then this college is best for you.

Visvesvaraya, felt a need to have an engineering college in the state as the Civil Engineering College Madras and College of Engineering Poona were unable to accommodate enough students from Mysore State.He started the college in 1917 in Bangalore as a School of Engineering with 20 students incivil and mechanical engineering branches in the PWD building. S.V. Setty was a founder professor. It was the fifth engineering college to be started in India and the first one inMysore State. In 1965, the name of the college was changed to University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering after its founder.Situated at K R Circle and in the neighbourhood of Vidhana Soudha, Government of Karnataka, the city campus houses the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering. Visited yesterday for college admission.very bad experience .staffs are too lazy and show too much attitude towards student.there is no proper procedure to submit documents.had bad experience with electrical department document submission .two sirs talk very roudlyWith student.as becoming sir they dont have common sense to guide students.compare to them student of that college name is kishan he is too good.guided us politely nicely.these sir have to learn from kishan how to behave.i dont know how these people guide students.these sirs spoiling history of college.lectures are busy in phones.

I am very proud to say that I am an UVCEian. Very good Government Engineering college in karnataka founded by Sir MV in 1917. Good placement opportunities and chances to involve students in multiple technical as well as cultural fests. Good chances to grow technically as well as to get leadership qualities. Since it is a government college infrastructure is not as good as compared to private engineering colleges.

No doubt. uvce is the best college. It teach us how to be a perfect individual but need some time to know about the college. Here students rule the college, students are free to think and can use any text books of any author. this is the only college that is capable of giving more than 5 offers to an individual. I myself got 7 offers from UVCE. proud to be an UVCIAN. If I get a chance to do my BE again I would definitely take UVCE as my first preference.UVCE is the best thing that ever happened in my life.

It is first college built in South India .it was built by Vishweshwarayya .uvce University of Vishweshwarayya college of engineering.its is aided college.its affilicated to Bengaluru University and not for vtu .for civil engineer from 2 ND year we need to go for nagarabavi .college starts from 8 or ,9,10 ends with in 2 to 3 hours .there is separate college for royal mechanical .its really nice college but student should self study .
