The college is good for studying and encourages sports and other extra curricular activities like NCC army and naval wing. The college is good but should improve its infrastructure and doesnt hav any entertainments like fest and DJs in the college. Except these two things the college offers good coaching and other facilities.

From time immemorial, students dream of getting an admission in the Basavanagudi National College which was having only science courses in the good old days but of late, even arts and commerce faculties have been added.Even today I remember those days in 1972-74 when I was a PUC - PCMB student here and Shri H Narasimhaiah(popularly called HN) was our Principal; I was one of the only two from Hassan district to have secured an admission here and the only one to join.I fondly remember the days when Prakash Padukone used to come for badminton practice in our renowned indoor auditorium; it was frequented by celebrities like Girlish Karnad, Lokesh, Vishnuvardhan; of course, Chandrasekhar of EK guddada mele fame was a student of our own college.I had the best ever Physics lecturer by the name of H Ramamurthy( referred to fondly as HR) whose teaching was legendary and made Physics my favourite subject.

Hi,National College has a name in Bangalore so I visited the college with lots of hope for my Post Graduation but to my dismay all my hope was trashed.The college campus is average and the infrastructure so poor and old, there is no proper maintenance of the infrastructure be it from the entrance, the quadrangle, the reception, the hall, the classrooms and everything. The receptionist and the non teaching staff dont speak English and they are astonished when I spoke to them in English, it gives me an impression as if they dont know English at all.Being an Autonomous College they lack so much even than a government college I guess.

My life turning point, if i born again on earth, i would love to study in this college. You can expect Professors as great scholars, lab assistants knows much, i got shocked by their knowledge!! Awesome platform for Sports, Cinema, Politics. it is a good place to start all those i mentioned. You can attend science forms every week. You have a lot canteen to hangout with friends, Gandhi Bazar to hang out with loved ones, Superb panipuri and grape juice in Jyothi Prakash shop..... Upahar mandir,Cool corner...awesome... When the name of the National College was immediately heard, it was a pleasure to know something in the face. Yes, the lesson on campus is more than just a classroom lesson. NSS, NCC👮, Sport⛹️🤽🤾, Drama👺🤡, Cultural💃🕺👯 are more times spent in college than a single hostel. There were shortages in our college, but they were filled by our friends, teachers, and principals. The students were responsive to the problem. Having spent so much of my life here as an NCB student, I have fond memories of life, life is bright.
