Painters have been coming without fail but if the Urban Company does not provide the painting material then what will the painters do ?? It is the lack of professionalism on the companys part. I gave no reason to blame the paintersteam.Urban company took the whole payment and they have no way to get in touch with them. Only they can call us. We cannot call them as they havent given any number. We wanted to get just one room painted for which they would take 1.5 days . Today is the third day, my room is half done. And labour is waiting on the sight for Urban Company to send paint.Great job guys. If this is what you call your professionalism

She also did an amazing job of all the beauty services I had asked for.Spending on Urban Company and their professionals is worth every rupee. This platform is a very convenient for getting all odd jobs including cleaning of part of existing house which I had opted to. Assessment of the quality/quantity of work is difficult and leaves much more to be desired especially in cases where one is unable to quantify the work. With standard applicable rates, Video consultation is insufficient for understanding the scope of work. This forces one to accept whatever work is carried out as there is no independent inspection of the work carried out which, in my opinion, is very unprofessional.Overall a good beginning and wishing all the best for the future.

My Washing machine was making a lot of noise. The company service people told me it was beyond repair.I called UC because I wanted a second opinion.And the service person told it can be repaired.I got it done and the machine is working perfectly now.I am really impressed and happy with the UC service.Definitely would recommend.Ty.

One of the worst experiences ever. I had booked my service for saturday at 11am and no beautician was assigned and they hardly bother to resolve it. Disgusting attitude and they have been very unprofessional. They kept promising me that they will call but no response. Very irritating. I am never going to book any more services with them. I had taken a deep cleaning of my entire house yesterday. They damaged the newly paint of walls. After raising a ticket the customer care took me into conference with the supervisor of the people assigned for the work. The supervisor of Savvy Cleaners was extremely rude and misbehaved on the call when asked for damages. Today when I am checking the lofts of kitchen, they didnt even clean anything on one side of the loft. Extremely bad service, no professional on urban companys part. Guys think twice before booking urban company and spending your hard earned money and energy.

Being a so well known service provider how you can have such pathetic service standards? I mean not even the basic deep cleaning your team has done. For this kind of cleaning you charged ~4700 Rs. This kind of service is not equivalent to 470 Rs. And Your team stole couple of items as well from my flat Flat Bulbs, Edibles, Electronic goods etc. What kind of criminals do you hire?Will never ever recommend UC for any service to anyone. I dont recommend UC to anyone (even my enemy) , this plumber is created lot of additional damage instead of identifying real problem / cause. I paid 768 (468+300) rs for drainage clogging and its not fixed completely. When I escalated they simply accepting mistake and trying to close ticket, not processing any refund. Professional itself canceled booking when I paid by cash. Its totally worst service 😑and money wasted. Now, we have to fix all sunk cover and cement damage created by UC people , which is worth around 3500rs. I dont want to waste my energy otherwise iwould have filed a case

The girl Parvati was doing my waxing she was really good .. did it painlessly and also she cared the I wasnt having any discomfort ... I had very bad experience twice. They have the expensive service called as Luxe and they send good experienced professionals but charge u a lot and i was ok to pay to get good service but twice u got professionals who’re not greatly skilled the first one was so horrible she stole the products that i paid for and was busy on her phone all the time and the second one did such bad upper lip and waxing that she ripped my skin off my face n arm it’s so bad. I complained to UC about this they’re not taking any action not trying to even understand what’s the problem I’m facing they’re not even sending me an email so i can share the pics with them

Such a bad service. I will never recommend Urban Clap for Bangalorelocation. We have booked for room deep cleaning for 3 pm afternoon and at 5 pm evening they called to refused for the duty. They will take whole amount in advance and after that its up to them if they will come or not on time.

We ordered deep cleaning services from Urban Company.We had a huge gang come in and dirty the whole apartment and toilets. In front of us.Had to kick them out by force otherwise they would not leave. These are very dangerous people. One contractor sublets to different parties and no one gets the work done.Instead of that, they start threatening us.Be careful when you order anything from this company!

Such a horrible experience. They are trying to cheat the customers by quoting a huge amount to mix the washing machine. Their engineers are very unprofessional not giving proper details. Initially I was told the shaft needs to be changed and then later they said gear box need to be changed. They also mentioned the shaft and the gear box is the same. Making fool of the customers. Never ever go with their service. I will approach the consumer court against this company. Pathetic

I had the worst experience with this company. You get assigned professionals, which you cannot choose. They came to my house to do deep cleaning. They didnt do the cleaning properly (in fact they claimed to have cleaned things such as fans and windows that they didnt even touch). Then they damanged the kitchen wall and stained the house floor with acid. Urban company is doing nothing about this. Use this app and their shady services at your own risk!!!

Their customer support team is very impolite and do not know how to talk to customers. BEWARE OF THE FRAUD BEING COMMITTED BY URBAN COMPANY TECHNICIANS:Please do not use Urban Company for repairing any of your appliances viz. Air conditioner, Washing Machine, Refrigerator, Microwave Oven etc.The Service Professional will come and even if it is a small issue, he will state that he needs to take the appliance to the service center for check up.He will return the appliance after removing all the internal parts and state that it cannot be repaired.You cannot use the appliance again and will have to scrap it forever.This is a FRAUD being committed by the company technicians and the company is very well aware of this.If you try to reach their customer care, they will always say that they will call back with a solution before the end of the day, but will never call back.It happened in the case of my microwave oven and I also found out later that my friend had a similar issue with his refrigerator..... so PLEASE do not hire the services of Urban Company for repairing any of your appliances.

I booked a cleaning service after making the payment:1) Their partner called me the day before to say he will not be able to make it time since he is assigned a job in the outskirts of the city. I had to reschedule it due to my schedule and knowing they can run late.2) I rescheduled and did not get any other partner assigned3) Tried their call centre where they said I’ve been assigned a new partner manually but it’s not reflecting in the app due to some glitch4) I lost my money and no service was delivered at the end of the day5) This is a shameless company and you should stay away from them.

Had a very bad experience with urban company. I scheduled a deep tissue therapy massage via urban company for 2nd October 4pm. They charged me Rs 1900 for a 90 mins massage. Assigned a masseuse by the Name Saritha. First of all, on the day on booking there was no message/call from the masseuse. At 4pm when I didn’t see any update from urban company, When I opened the app and the appointment was cancelled mentioning I didn’t respond on the confirmation message Sarita sent in the app at 12pm. When I tried calling the masseuse, she lied that I didn’t pick her call just disconnected!! Is this the way you treat customers Sarita/urban company??? Firstly, nowhere in the terms and conditions is it mentioned that customer needs to confirm the booking. Secondly, considering Saritha is telling the truth, no one can guarantee on network coverage so she should have dropped me a message. Without making any effort, she cancels it and then disconnects my call. Request everyone who is planning to book a massage in future, please don’t book Saritha. Not because she cancelled the booking but she acted very unprofessional and incompetent!!! No value of customers time. The booking was made under a different email address.

Absolutely non-professional. Market position is setting them arrogant.1) The geyser that they repaired (so called) repaired about a month ago, is not working from the day 1. The executive left in a hurry stating that in 30 minutes you will get hot water.2) The thermostat that was installed was so poor quality. immediately on fixing, I informed that it is not working. No light was glowing. He said it will come on in 30 minutes, once the water is heated. I have never heard of such technology in my life.3) Since then calling to attend to the problem. Every time I have to raise a fresh request or they will do it on your behalf.4) The executive will be assigned. They will not turn up. When you register that work is not done, you have to raise a fresh complaint again.5) The replacement products are so poor quality (no brand, no serial no., no bar code - for both thermostat and the coil that was replaced). They charge more than the branded items.If any of the customer want to save their effort, go to a nearby electrical shop, purchase branded products, ask for an electrician to attend to that work. The shop keeper may not have the so called processes. But he will be reliable. Anyways you are going to pay. The least is you will get value for your money.Just fedup !!

Hats off to the services by Urban Company. Your resolution time is so so long that it even crosses the claim warranty which I feel is the intention. We requested for bathroom cleaning services on Sep 16, the boy was new and he broke our basin in one bathroom and the pipe in the other bathroom. We had raised a complaint on 16th itself, shared photos as well but no contact till date. The claim warranty is till 19th to compensate the damage but cleverly UC denies to respond to our issue or arrange a so called callback within 24 hours. Horrible after service. People reading this dont fool yourself by booking with these guys, it will only cause you additional costs and stress. I will have this escalted further.

Initially as urban Clap they began well , now its pathetic hire of unprofessional workers who mess the job and charge a bomb. We recently called for painting service, not only that they charged a high charge but also the quality was horrible the paint had water consistency . Dont get begiled by the ads on TV its absolutely horrible. Recently took a service with plumber too.. he came with an assistant took the OTP and kept talking on phone half an hour.. after that his assistant broke the tap and said its poor quality when urban Clap itself had fixed it 2 weeks prior ... Better call known proffesionals around.

Worst decision to do Water purifier servicing through Urban Company!!!Last week of May’2021, we did our Aquaguard yearly service with Urban Company, including filter change by paying 5,000+. Usually in lesser price than this, we get the filter change and yearly maintenance contract from Eureka Forbes but due to lockdown they were not serving hence had to go ahead with UC.Just little over 1 month, we had an issue and water purifier stopped working in July 1st week. After multiple follow ups, several email & calls to service center an engineer arrived after 5 days and made it work. Now again within another 2 months, it stopped working and we called Urban Company technician to visit. The technician visited promptly (as its a new booking) and said, device stopped working due to incorrect wiring been done inside and also indicated that purified water isn’t right quality, hardness is >200. Now when we said, the last two service is done by Urban Company technician only, he asked us to get in touch with UB service desk.So after back and forth for 48hours with UC service desk, they finally came back with the most expected response that “our technician has not confirmed us about wrong doing by previous technician so we can’t do much here”. This is the level of their customer service.What worries me the most is, the wrong doing of the technician has made us drink unhealthy water for >2 months. So be very careful before you do “ANY appliance” serving with UC as after this incident, while discussing in friends circle I am now hearing some similar experience from others.

The bathroom cleaning service is pathetic. Constant requests for a redo and a call back was not heeded to. Very bad service, earlier it was really good. I got the cleaning done from them earlier and it was exceptionally good but now they don’t know how to maintain it. This time when I called them for cleaning one 2 people came(only broomstick a piece of cloth and COLIN) and they spent 3 hours in a 1 room. This They didn’t had any chemicals to clean the window, glass, floor, mirror, woodwork. The service was so bad . Recently I saw urban company advertisement for house painting and i was quite impressed with that. I booked for full house paintingand a person name Zoaib visited our house and gave a quotation of around 43k.We preferred Asian paints for full house painting. But As suggested by Zoaib ,we selected dulux fully washable (best quality).He promised that they will clean the place after the painting and the work will be fully mechanized .And it was scheduled from Oct31st to nov 5th.He suggested to do grouting because of seepage near the bathroom. We were ok with that and we paid around 5k forbathroom grouting as well. And after that we were realized that door painting and grill paining was not included in the quote. Zoaib sent a different quotefor that 3999 and scheduled one day for that. The contractor names Salman Khan visited our house, and they started their work and he completed the work inin 3 days(including scrubbing, painting grill and doors, grouting etc).Finishing was not all satisfactory and so we requested them to comeback next day finish it properly. He said that they cannot come the following day because they have assigned some work. They left the place without cleaning and we had to call deep cleaning service from urban company at an additional cost to clean it.After 2 weeks, I observed that paint started peeling out from walls.So I complained in urban company app, they were no response. I mailed them and they replied that As per the update by your case manager, we will not be ableto cater to your complaint .We would highly appreciate your understanding in this regard . Actually no one visited our house after the complaint wasraised. We are surprised how they could close our complaint without a proper site visit ?Worst Experience I had with urban company:No Call center for urban company.If you register complaint in urban company, if you are lucky, you will get call back.You will be getting reply for your mail after 3 to 4 days and no action will be taken for your request.Now we are thinking that we could have gone for Asian paints instead of dulux

Based on that experience I decided to go ahead with the painting service with UrbanCompany. I also paid 35% amount in advance. Once the payment was made the drama started. The painting professional was assigned. He calls me and says I’m sorry I won’t be available on the scheduled date can I come the next day? And here I was who taken leave for this very purpose and had limited amount of time to get the job done. I tried reaching their customer support and that’s where the trouble started. For the first time booked home service for hair-cutting from Urban company. Booked on 9/6/21 for 6:30PM slot on 12/6/21. Paid the charges online. On 11/6 at 9:30 pm Urban rescheduled unilaterally to 14/6 i.e Monday at 8:00 AM. This means you cancel your Office/Work/Business and wait for Urban Company Service Provider. Pathetic Service !!!! very Unprofessional approach. . How these people are running their business in this country. Very Poor customer care service. Surveyor overestimated wall area so that Urban Company (UC) can charge more money.Painting Supervisor was nowhere to be seen when painting was in progress.Was promised 1 coat of Wall Primer, All cracks filled, 2 coats of Apcolite Premium emulsion for all interior walls. 2 coats of Apex Ultima for exterior wallsWHAT I GOT: incomplete work as painters were not given sufficient paint to paint. At the end of the work, all the walls had patches and look very ugly. Only 1 coat of some low quality paint was applied on the walls.When I raised a complaint with Urban Company, I received abusive calls.I have phone call recordings and whatsapp communciations to prove all of the above.MY ADVICE TO THE READERS: Go with your local painter instead of Urban Company; they are more sincere and will do a much better job. You will also not get any abusive phone calls.

A refund of over Rs. 2000/- made to Urban Company for massage service not done at all, has been pending since August 31. A big no no. Had used UC 4-5 times. Every single time the professional didnt arrive on time. Every single time my prepaid amount was deducted for cancellation charges and had to go through hassles to have my amount refunded. Whenever the professional visited(rarely and never at the booked slot time) , they deliberately took time to complete tasks to add their hourly rates and unnecessary additional tools. Most of them booked were carpenters, plumbers and electricians. One thing that I learnt was they will never make it on time, they will ensure that you pay hourly charges unnecessarily and you will have to wait painfully and patiently to get your work done with no guarantee that the problem will be solved. The UC will test your patience for refunds for any mistakes from their end. I have learnt my lesson the hard way.

Cheater organisation and they cheater technician too . It’s been a week now we had booked technician for geyser repair . That cheater fitted some defective part took 2000/- rupees without giving us Any receipt …and there was short circuit and our geyser went out of order . We again called him up and after two days he showed his face and took away that part of the geyser and said he will get the part from Chickpet . Alas !! He is neither picking up his phone nor is he responding . The moment we open our taps in our washroom water lickage starts happening . We can’t use the washroom too . We have been trying to reach this Cheater Urban Company but they too don’t respond .SHAME ON YOU URBAN COMPANY. Worst service from Urban company and most pathetic customer care. Even after 10 attempts, no response at all. Only way to reach them is by message. and then wait for their call.. if things go wrong , it will be a nightmare for the customer to get the company address the issue.My case, they messed up the RO installation by damaging the internal water pipe. Even after raising it multiple times, no action. All Damage protection, insurance..etc are bogus. they say it will take 2-3 days to claim the damage insurance. How pathetic it is.. they want us to be without water till they come and fix it. And god only knows when that will happen.I had to get the local plumbers, break the wall and get it fixed.

For the first time I booked salon service from Urban clap and service was booked. As per the company I a professional was yo be assigned 1 hour prior to the schedule. Customer service representative called me and informed that he would personally look into this and there would be no change in schedule.Even after scheduled time still there was no professional assigned. There was no contact number to reach out to report this. Luckily I did not pay in advance or else there would have been another distressing episode. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

Very bad. Attention to all those who plan to book services. They promise all service personnel are vaccinated and wear PPE kit during servicing and charge extra for that too while booking. But both are false.They were not even wearing masks properly.Accidently I came to know they were not vaccinated and company knew about it too. I was shocked to hear that. But the company didnt care about any of these safety measures , that too when they claim, they are following in this covid times. When I spoke to customer care, they said no problem dont worry nothing will happen. They were ignorant and not ready to continue the discussion and somehow needed to close the call. It was my mistake that I trusted Urban company and put my kids and elders in home at risk. I dont recommend using their services bcoz of lack of professionalism they show as a company. They lost customer trust.

I have very bad experience with urban company. Few months back on October20 I have booked a technician for my washing machine repair. The technician name is Sayed. He suggested us to change our PCB board and we believed that. We have paid him 4400 rupees for new pcb and next day he installed the PCB(as he said we didnt check -we had trust on UC) and he had given us 3months warranty. Story closed there and we trusted that new PCB has been installed.Today on July 21 , we have faced the same problem with our washing machine, PCB is not working again , so we have booked a technicianfor our Washing machine from UC. So new technician Mosin has been assigned from UC. He checked the machine and told us PCB repair is required. So that time we have informed that last time on oct2020 we have installed new PCB from UC . He was surprised and told that new PCB is not available in market for this model as it is a very old model washing machine. only repair is possible. The previous technician has cheated on us and taken the 4400 for new pcb.Now the 2nd point is which we got to know from Mosin that the pervious guy charged 2 PCB cost for front load machine (not one ) 2200*2 where We have top load machine which require 1 PCB and its cost only 1800. we had trust on UC so we had not checked the rate card . when the new guy showed the rate card that time we got to know that we are already cheated by Sayed.Now come to the UC complaint part. we have raised a complaint on UC . I have asked for the justification for this cheating , they are not ready to take any responsibility and not event gave us the money back. they dont even bother to talk with the technician beside that they are doubting on us. UC doesnt have any company ethics as they are doubting on customer. So please before booking UC kindly think twice.

Very Very Worst service. I had done service for electrical work, electrician came and seen the work, demanded extra amount I agreed, then also he didnt done proper work. due to other work schedules. wiring improper, fans fitting improper and controller also not working, CARPENTER work simply visited doesnt even touch the work asked OTP charged some amount for work and visiting charges. second time carpenter work scheduled but no carpenter come after three rescheduling. simply waste of time and energy. please dont go for urban clap service. simply waste of one year membership.

DONT USE URBAN COMPANY, THEY ARE SCAMMERS. They will never deliver what you expect. I booked a sofa cleaning service and immediately the money was deducted and in a few minutes the agent was assigned. However, in a hour the agent called and requested to visit early than the scheduled time due to weather. Out of humanity I accepted his request. He never showed up. Now, 45 mins after the actual booking time. He calls to lie that his machine is not working and lied that he tried calling me earlier but could bot connect. The fact is I called the UC to raise a complaint about the same almost 3 times and they themselves called the agent but no response. Every person I spoke with from UC promised a call back from the senior but no one eve called ana now I received a message saying they tried calling multiple times but I did not respond. All I understood was they take peoples money and use for their benifit and then scam new customers to refund old ones.

The appointment fixed on 24th was postponed due to your technical problems to 25th 10.00am at your convienence..the technician Nizaam calls up and tells he will be there by 10.30am and without further intimation of any delay finally arrives at 11.25am..All this after Urban company charges us in advance..

Urban Company is very unprofessional and their AC technicians are equally unprofessional as well.I should have checked the reviews before subscribing for annual membership. Highly regret it now.I scheduled my split AC for service on Apr 1 at 12pm and the technician conveniently rescheduled it just before the scheduled time to later in the evening at 4pm without even notifying me. I reported this to the Help center and they said the technician has been penalized.Now, I had to reschedule the 4pm booking to 5pm as I wasnt notified earlier.To make matters worse the technician didnt arrive until 5.40pm and then I called him to check if hes coming or not. His response is hes still completing his previous job and cant make it today and will come over tomorrow. Are we jobless sitting at home waiting for these technicians?This is ridiculous that a customer has to follow up with the technicians to confirm if hes coming or not.I have gone ahead and scheduled the AC service with an authorised service provider.

Very very very unprofessional behavior. They have not cleaned kichen at all, when we ask them to clean they gave back answers and all four of them were laughing at us. They were simply wasting half an hr in cleaning one small window. Never experienced like kind of behaviour. Very terrible experience will not recommend to anyone. Instead all cleaning work i did next day with one person along with me by using Lysol kitchen cleaner spray, all the stains came out easily and fast. Didnt knew about it before otherwise I would have never booked any cleaning work. Suggest not to use any service as its total waste of our hard earned money. Never gonna use urban company services

This review is for customer service of Urban Company which is pathetic and very unprofessional. I received confirmed schedule for saloon service but no professional response to UC but no action visible by UC there is no option to contact CCTEAM only call back option raised multiple call back option and finally received call 2hrs delayed schedule and respond quickly concern team connect me and resolve but no call received no of hours over, no service no payment return status. Worst!!
