Most criticised & polluted lake of Bangalore offerd a new look tonight. About 50m of the main outlet a concert space is constructed to protect the dirty water plants. The discharged water was clean. But beyond the construction it was full of water plants which emits very bad smells.

Best place for walk

Lake is very dirty, catches fire at times and gets dirty smelly froth. Now local authority took heed of it and started restoration work, its going good hope this help the lake getting back the lost beauty. Its a huge lake and as a citizen its a duty of each individual to protect their water bodies.

One of the largest lake of Bangalore, and one of the most polluted lakes. Froth and foam used to rise high up in the air .. fire on the lake also was common. Now the lake is being rejuvenated .. work is going on and you can cycle or drive around in a two wheeler if you are curious .. quite some birds like kites and egrets can be seen .. After rejuvenation this should be a beauty ..

Ironic how the website shows that it is kid friendly.... A girl of 7 years who went there with her parents died because she entered the frothy water and had lead poisoning and later had cancer as well..... whatever you do dont go here....

Like all other lakes this is also heading towards its varnishing point. All the drainage system connected to this and marine life is in stake. Also near by environment is changed drastically. Earlier it was a nice place to hangout but not anymore now. I hope they should bring back lake city and resurrect all lakes for good.

It is the biggest lake in Bangalore and is well located. This lake can be a very good source of water. But, due to negligence in maintaining the lake, it has become a sewage dump and has become extremely polluted. Wish the efforts from the masses can revive the lake and bring back its beauty.

The lake is a massive one but is polluted and is recently been dumped with sand and there has been fires around it. If properly maintained by the locals, it would probably be one of the best lakes in Bangalore

Bellandur lake is natures gift to the Bangaluru city. Nice place to walk along the shore in the evening to relax and njoy the natural beauty. Now a days it is being known as the foam lake as toxic fluids being released to it by some industries which is very discouraging. It used to be a bigger lake but the demand for local housing constructions has ruined of its vastness and beauty.

Can have a foam bath here from the lake.. very well taken care off. Hats off to the people who are supposed to maintain the premises..

One of the lake which was really good at a point of time and known as foam Lake nowadays. There are industries which let poisonous chemicals into this lake. Apart from there is sanitary waste let into this and not maintained by BBMP.

The lake is not maintained properly. With all the industrial and domestic waste the lake has now turned into a huge sewage tank. Not a pleasant view.

Its not a place to visit any more.. it has reached a drastic polluted level.Although the government has been fined multiple times for cleaning this lake they are not paying any seriousness towards cleaning the lake.The drain which originates from this lake has foam like substance which is highly poisonous. some times because of air it goes in ear also.

The lake is always full with industrial waste, fire erupted here on on feb 16, 2017, letting off thick clouds of smoke that caused drivers to swerve dangerously. Check the news, not a good place to live.

There are worst local guard has been deputed there who dowsnt know any language other kanada and dont know how to behave with ppl who r better and cultured in every terms ,guys these anti element need to be controlled as they behave like local gunda ..They r targeting simple couples and shouting on them ..with help of local kidds very sad .
