An average ambiance๐ฝ but the food dishes served makes it up for it๐ค. The food dishes are priced moderate. ๐คThe fresh seafood dishes which i ordered was Surmai tawa๐ fry, Squid ghee roast๐ฆ, Prawn chilly garlic๐ฆ and , Crab masala๐ฆ. All the food was really delicious and finger linking good๐คค๐คค. The only thing i would suggest the readers๐ค those who prefer less spicy food๐ฎ to kindly mention your server multiple times๐ง , as even after mentioning it the food served was spicy,๐ฃ i was sweating while eating ๐คง๐จ.Rest the place is a must visit and specially for the seafood as the name suggests Coast 2 Coast! ๐๐
It is my second time....First time the food was really good...But this time chicken ghee roast was good, fish tawa fry also good ,prawns ghee roast was good, I was not happy with the chicken curry they served with kori roti. All over enjoyed but they should maintain the quality to be consistence.Staff were very friendly.Ambience was good. All over enjoyed with the family.
Had one of my best meals after a long long time. Authenticity guaranteed, super host, regular family ambience. Recommended for all wanting an awesome experience ๐ป
I have heard alot about its chicken. Ghee roast chicken, but I found it, Okay! The taste is good but I hear that it could be better. I didnt had anything else yet, so cant comment.
Totally disappointed and felt its a waste of money. The food here is nothing compared to the Hotels in Mangalore. The dishes dont even have the authentic Manglorean taste. The thing I liked here the most is the staff and service. The waiter was Polite and patient enough in taking our order and explained about each and every item.Ordered1. Panner Ghee Roast ( Rs. 290) - The taste was bitter as many red chillies were used and it didnt even have the authentic ghee roast taste from Mangalore. Would rate it ( 3 out of 10)Not worth ordering2. Apam ( Rs. 65 per plate 2 appams) it was literally tasteless didnt enjoy it much.Would rate it ( 2 out of 10)Not worth ordering3. Prawn Masala fry ( Rs.400) The same masala which was used for ghee roast had been used and it literally tasted like prawn ghee roast and not masala fry. Would rate it ( 5 out of 10)Not worth ordering4. Crab Sukka ( Rs. 500) This was the only thing which I liked at this resturant, lots of coconut and coconut oil is used which makes the dish lip smacking. Remember to ask the weight of the crab before buying as the price is based on the weight of the crab.Would rate it ( 9 out of 10).Worth ordering5. Neer Dosa ( Rs.65 per plate 5 small triangular pieces are provided) The dosa wasnt cooked properly and could feel the batter and the neer dosa should be thin usually but this one was fat.Would rate it ( 0 out of 10)Not worth ordering6. Fresh lime soda ( Rs. 65 per glass) Would rate it ( 8 out of 10)Overall would like to tell that the restaurant isnt that good as Ive tasted the exact Manglorean style of food and the food served here, doesnt even have the authentic taste. So I would recommend to think twice before going and ordering any food from here. Not worth for the money paid.
Curd Rice 90 rupees.I guess tat says it all.Caramel custard 75.The only two dishes I saw which didnt have 3-digit prices.I understand koramangala real estate is expensive.Rent might be high.Collecting entire rent from customer is unfair.Little rent must be contributed by the restaurant profit as well.
Prawn ghee roast, neer dosa ultimate try this combo and appam as well
I have been here on a Tuesday and ordered for chicken Ghee roast, Bangda fish Rava and Masala Fry. Fish is very fresh, tasty and really worth the price. But when it comes to Chicken Ghee Roast, I felt the pieces are too large and I have seen the masala didnt get really inside into the chicken. It shouldve been cooked well or the pieces shouldve been small. This one is not a fancy place but perfectly meets most of the peoples requirements if you wish to taste Mangalorean cuisine. Not disappointed, honestly felt chicken certainly should be better and I hope the restaurant takes this feedback positively. Most importantly, Hemanth was one the who attended us in the restaurant and he is really great at the service he provided. A huge 5-Star for him for his exceptional service!!!
Nice amazing sea food neer dosa is not up to the expectations bit stiky and hard
You only focus on good food and hospitality? Then you are at the right spot.
Quality has gone down over years. Its fine
The padengi gassi and boiled rice tasted just like at home in Mangalore!
Totally loved this place! Went there on a Easter Sunday noon for lunch with wifey. Great hospitality and service. We ordered their chicken speciality ghee roast chicken with neer dosa and appam. As a started we went for Rawa fried fish (pic added). All items were yummy! I had a few drinks as well which were moderately priced. We left the place happy . Going back here for sure. :)
Best mangalorean restaurant in town. Strongly recommended.
Nice place to have sea food tasty and spicy
Ok ok food
Neer dosa: Not well cooked. We should just taste the batter.Mutton ghee roast:oily and it smells like garbage.I couldnt even eat 1piece.Its not authentic coastal restaurant.
Its all in all MANGALOREAN...Be it the service staff, the chef, the owners and the founder (Anupama). Well if u are craving for sea food, then this place is a must visit among all the other koramangala sea food chains. The service guys were real cool and attentive and spot on ready to serve. We just wanna eat light & the food we ordered was Appam, Masala squid fry thats roasted in ghee and some chicken fried rice.... The appam was ok and the masala in the squid was just too much and the fried was also nothing out of normal... As i said earlier we just wanted to eat light and perhaps we didnt order their best stuff... But still we liked whatever we ordered but the squid fry had little to do with squid rings and was simply like masala smash on the plate.... In the end the bill was around 700/- and so on a serious note, i believe that its over priced.Coming to the ambience, this outlet here in koramangala unlike their other popular outlets like be it on mg road or Mangalore, is simple and properly furnished with adequate dining space at each table and with their predominant Red standout furnishings. The restaurant isnt too big and all like the other outlets but it roughly accommodates some 20-25 odd tables. And a note worthy thing is their lil collection of Pics on Mangalorean culture be it the kambala race, their traditional huts, roofs & pillared houses...etc.
The food here is ok. The place is quite clean and is well maintained. But eating out here will make you wait for atleast 15 mins before serving ad everything is made to order. The food has been good and never a bad experience in the multiple times I have been there. They also have zomsto and swiggy pickups so the accessibility is good. Parcel is provided on order. Only that parking is a headache especially for cars, so best come by auto or cab to the location. Else you have to park far and take a walk.
They seem to have restarted dining in facilities about a month back. The staff wear masks and visors for protection, however the table seating distancing needs improvement. Maybe the ground level renovation will address that. The food was great and hygienic. The waiter was polite and helped us pick out the dishes.
A must go place for all sea food lovers.
Great ghee crab roast .
I have always loved the Ghee Roast chicken and Neer Dosa here. Its a classic combo and no one does it better than Coast to Coast..but this time I tried the Fish Thali, I love the batter fried fish...it doesnt have the Nagarjuna thali variety but honestly I feel its ok to keep less dishes but tastier ones. So I was quite happy with their Thali.
This is another restaurant that never fails to please senses and the belly... We had ordered Anjal Fry, Squid Ghee Roast, Prawns Ghee Roast along with Appams and Neer Dosas... Each morsel was heavenly and satiating; we didnt leave anything behind and were super happy with all that was served... We will go back for sure.
Food was not up to the mark. Its quiet expensive and the quantities of the dishes are very little
The best mangalorian food in Bangalore. Neer dosa, chicken ghee roast and prawn ghee roast are must try items.
Every Sea food lover should experience their Neer Dosa and Prawns Ghee Roast. Its Worth a try.
Went here after many years, they were renovating the ground floor but service was available on the first floor. Although their prawn ghee roast is still the same quality i was surprised by the dismal quality of kane rava fry and neer dosa. The rava fry was over fried like a papad and neer dosa was overheated in microwave which also no less than papad. Maravanthe in Indiranagar is far better option than this place since the quality has gone down!!
Good place to eat. Mangalorean and Karavali food!
Nice place nice food
Chicken ghee roast and Neer dosa was awesome...
Although its a small place in a not very posh locality the service was amazing and incredibly warm. The food is really good. The prawn ghee roast and the anjal fish are must-haves with the apam or neer dosa. The Caramel custard was unbelievably soft and would just melt in my mouth. I would definitely recommend this place and visit again.
Over rated taste and price not worth it
Chicken or prawn ghee roast with neer dosa is perfect combo and gives your taste gland a sense of heaven. The serve is good as the restaurant is filled with elderly staffs and this sometimes feels a bit nagging as they keep asking you what you want. Try the varieties if seafood options they have as each one has a unique taste to it. The restaurant is situated very near to sony signal and car parking could be an issue here so plan well ahead.Recently noticed some latest add-ons to the menu - port wine. Shrimps and wine sounds like a good combo.
Mutton pepper dry is awesome
Wonderful sea food must visit
Have the best seafood
No Response from waiters. No extra gravy n allStaff behavior also very Rud
Place is under renovation and hence only the wing on the first floor is open. The place is worth visiting for the authentic delicious mangalorean sea food cuisine..
Amazing place, not very fancy ambience but food is simply amazing. Do not forget to trt their chicken ghee roast. Truly Manglorian resturant. Suitable for family getaway and Tinder/Bumble dates both (if you both are foodie) ๐
Amazing food , the chicken ghee rost is cooked to perfection , its very tasty , even the anjal masala fish is top notch , nice and spicy... overall amazing experience , worth the money, will go again :)
Super place to have manglore food
Good Mangalore style cuisine available.Pros :Ghee roast and Kori roti varieties are very nice.. must try.Fish masala fry was not that great.Cons:May be due to renovation, the seating capacity is limited and not very pleasing. Since kitchen is attached and it A/C room , coz of poor ventilation, u feel like suffocating as the kitchen smoke seems to get infiltrate inside..
Awesome food with high price. Coastal flavour guaranteed.
Good service ๐
Chicken, prawn ghee roast with appam and neer dosa is the best here
Very tasty see food at reasonable pricing
This is a place pretty famous for sea food. People mostly order neer dosa with their favourite go to items like chicken or prawns with it, weve ordered Ghee Roast Chicken. It was fine cooked with lots of ghee and Neer dosa is soft and subtle for tastes. Ambience was bad and place was bit stinky, nonetheless food was 4 star.
This is a good place for seafood. Only thing is one would need to ask the waiter of the price. The fish fry was good and my wife enjoyed it. The fhee roast possibly was an acquired taste owing to the shredded chicken fibers on the dish. Overall, its way better than most of the factory made restaurants out there where you cant tell one dish from another.
Great thanks
Must visit for sea food ๐ lovers.Must to try ๐ฆ crabs!!
Loved the dishes
Traditional mangalorean cuisine prepared to near perfection. Friendly helpful staff who will help you to chose the best dish suitable to your choices. Only down side is the Ambience. I wish they revamp this one just like they did for the church street oneEdit: Now they have better ambience and it looks cool. Hence make it 5 star in this review edit
Amazing sea food anytime โค๏ธ
Great and cozy place at the heart of Koramangala for some coastal style sea food / Non veg food. Must try for sea food lovers. Mostly crowded on peak hours. Service available and is good. Medium quantity - not too less not too more. Good quality. Prices standard. All in all fresh and yummy food served.
I would highly recommend to visit the church Street coast to coast. The interior have suffered wear and tear and requires maintenance. Near by surrounding is a low and would not suggest for couples and family. The quality of food served is equivalent to the Church Street branch. Service is fast and the waiters are polite and respectful.
If you are looking for ghee roast, this is the place. As well they serve best coastal food. If youre around Koramangala or MG road and looking for coastal food, this the place
I want to give 4 Stars, primarily for food but the place really needs better upkeep. While they do have chines on the menu, Mangalorean Food taste is what you should go here for and not expect fine dining experience. Vegetarians should look else where The place is quite reasonably priced
Good sea food
Few days ago i Went here with a friend I work with in Bangalore. The Place look very good, especially the chicken I had. The fish dish is also awesome that i never can forgot till now, In conclusion, its a really good place, love to visit again .
Love the food
Went here with a friend I work with in Bangalore. Place is very good, especially the chicken I had. Too many bones in the fish unfortunately and the service wasnt amazing. An important aspect to note, Is that I am European and as this I review place from a western point of view. In conclusion, really good place, I coul d go back there again!!!!!
Best for Mangalorean food ๐
I heard about this restaurant since I came Bangalore and wanted to taste. Today I got opportunity to taste and it was really good. We had A great time there and you must visit and have some sea foods.
Quantity and quality not what it used to be.
Good food and good taste.
