It is one of the greatest experience , even one of the best of my life. There were breathtaking sights, cope up with the extreme environment and listen to the sound of own heartbeat. All goes well even in such harsh conditions due to the support , care and dedicated service provided by the Base camp Adventure crew. I would specially want to thank Mrs. Kavita our guide to organise the event efficiently.I also want to thank her for showing her trust and sharing her experiences during camping and honey dew moments. Thanks Base camp guys , Keep up the good work.
I had taken my daughters for the Rock Climbing session @ Turahalli Forest and they loved that experience. I am happy the way the instructors were patient and encouraging throughout the session. I would definitely recommend this to others.
Its one of the good experience I have got with BASECAMP and team...Hats off people for the wonderful work you have been doing...I am very much happy to have many more treks with your team.
Enjoyed the whole trip - trek, waterfalls and the riverside activities. Very well organized and coordinated. The schedule was followed more or less accurately without any delays.Jigna was on the button and had everything planned and ready. She stayed throughout as part of the group and shared some helpful tips while trekking which made life easier.SMSes were sent in advance to inform on weather fluctuations and be prepared accordingly. Look forward to participate in future activities with Basecamp.Only suggestion is that participants can be informed of the last available mobile network point before starting so that any calls can be made before going off the grid.
We (2 adults and one 10-year old) went with Basecamp to Bananthimarabetta end of August. Was an amazing experience! We loved the outdoors, a big thank you to Jigna for guiding us so well and fabulous view from our lunch spot at 1200.
This has been my first trek in India, and it was good. Thanks to Basecamp (Jigna); it was well coordinated. Looking forward for many more treks with you guys.
Great experience. Fun and thrilling. They make you do things that you dont expect from yourself.
We had a fun time rock climbing. You guys are professional and endearing.
Excellent ! i tried rock climbing first time and it would not possible without this team....

Not too good in coordinating the activity. Lots of time wasted in the beginning. Also, not good at all in explaining/teaching the concept to the participants. And finally, not too much emphasis on safety as well
I am still trying to adjust to normal daily life, after a PHENOMENAL trek to the Everest Base Camp (1-14 Oct 2016). It had been a long-standing dream and I had done enough research to understand that it was going to be a tough physical and mental task. And Im SO glad that I decided to do this trek with Basecamp Adventures. I primarily chose to go to EBC with Basecamp Adventures because they had solid credentials, and tremendously experienced mountaineers Jigna and Kavitha, as team leaders. Jigna led me and my two co-trekkers on this life-changing trip - and what an amazing journey it turned out to be. Jigna, always calm, unruffled, confident and strong as a rock - is a true leader. She commands respect through her skill, strength and knowledge, rather than through intimidation. Throughout these 14 days, all we needed was to trust Jigna and her excellent organisational and leadership skills to take us successfully and SAFELY through this amazing trek. We saw many trekkers en-route who either gave up or fell sick on the way, often due to poor planning or inadequate guidance. We were just so glad that our group bonded well with each other and with our guide/leader, and managed to really push our limits, without endangering ourselves. Hats off to Jigna, and to Basecamp Adventures. Forever thankful to them. :)
My first proper trek. Wonderful service and care by Jigna, our guide from Basecamp. Best of all, she wasnt just a guide but made herself like one of us, enjoying the trek, explaining the things around, helping us with our cooking, laughing with our jokes. Our office team had a great day. Looking forward to our next trip with Basecamp — definitely my first choice next time.
EBC trek is such an iconic and well known trek that it needs no introduction. Basecamp Adventures did a wonderful job at making this experience an amazing one. Our expedition leader/guide was the co-founder of the company and was vastly experienced. A long, strenuous and reasonably demanding trek. But it was worth it. Just hope that you get a good view when you are in that region as the weather gods need to show mercy to get those views that you go all the way out there for. And weather also plays a huge role in getting in and out of the place (getting stuck at Lukla for a few days and missing you international flight at Kathmandu or losing those days even before you take the flight to Lukla is not unheard of). Prepare & pack wisely, train well and get all your trekking equipment in Nepal. Take on the climbs/descends at your own pace. It most definitely is not a race. :) Do your homework and learn about things like AMS, the terrain, common challenges faced etc. You have tons of videos on youtube. This is a wonderful trek to do. But if you have more days to spare, do atleast one of the passes (Gokyo being the most well known). The views that they offer are supposed to be way more impressive.
WomenA lot left to learn still from ladies , right frommy mother, sister, teachers , cousins, friends , Wife and colleguesWomen have played a vital role in my LIFE but this I never dreamtthat I would learn rock climbing , rapelling from WomenKavitha reddy and Jigna modh , thanks - you ladies rockI’m thankful to have found the same thing amongmy lady friends: positivity, encouragement and support. It was a rocking Sunday
We recently went on a trek to Kudremukh, I presonally enjoyed it. Jigna as usual is very accomodative to all the requests. Some things which could have been done better is to explain to first time trekkers usually part of the group that if they slow down or cannot go further what needs to be done. Have 2 people for streneous treks one leading the group and one with the trailing members. Otherwise always have liked to go on trips with basecamp.
This is been my first trekking trip and,its been worth the wait(all these years),i could feel the nature calming my agitated nature of doing work- routine , on daily bases, jigni was very explanatory in all enquiries we put to her, hey!! its been great overall,,likely to be regular on trekking trips on plain terrain from now !!thanks jigini ,you had the maturity and patience to handle this trip, its been a good learning of things from you,and the things u did in the camp site i.e .making of camp fire.,preparing ,food, erecting of of tents,,etc.janakiram
